When the barrel is outside, the beer (or cider) is flowing! Superb micro pub, other pubs now just don't cut the mustard. The well curated beer selection never disappoints. Definitely one to visit, cheers!

Very quirky and small but a great little pub! Really good service from the friendly barman. Nice selection of cask ales. The outside seating was out in the sunshine and perfect for a couple of beers after work on a Friday evening.

Friendly staff, New beers every week, the perfect place for a cosy pint and a chat with friends! As a keen pubber I have to say this is probably my favourite spot for a quiet drink. Also their chorizo sausage rolls are unbelievable!

So glad to call this one of the new NR3 locals. Cosy, friendly and a great atmosphere, with a good selection of local beer. Amazing job by Emily, Elliott and Johnny in creating such a welcoming space!

Excellent micro pub. Beer selection very good when we visited: 3 casks and 4 kegs. Friendly owner served us. Keep up the good work!

Lovely micro pub. Visited with my uncle a few weeks ago and had a chat with one of the owners. Very knowledgeable and passionate about what he does. We will be back and hopefully it will become a great success!

A fantastic first experience with some of finest ales and keg beer on offer, with a great attentive service. Full of knowledge without pretension. Undoubtedly there will be something to suit everyone’s tastes.
Overall it reminded heavily of hole in wall bars found in Europe, with that warm and welcome feelings. Still carrying a uniquely British pub feel.
This fine all be it micro establishment is a credit to the city and its owners and staff, it’s respect for tradition and history is evident but possess a modern inclusive approach.
ps some great pub games on offer get stuck in!

Excellent micropub. Knowledgeable staff offering samples if undecided. Very relaxing surroundings - well worth 15 min walk from town centre
