S. C.The very best pub in town.
Friendly staff who always greet you with a warm welcome and a fab pint. Loads of great beers, my partner loves ale and really appreciates the selection and the care with which the beer is looked after. There are delicious food options all week and the Sunday roast is legendary. Live bands and a friendly crowd make this the music venue the place to go for your nights out in Norwich. The management of this gem of a pub is first class.

Tasty well priced burgers, for those moments when only a burger will do. But the small plates are truly amazing. Packed with flavour and big enough to actually share.
j. w.Fantastic pub with a welcoming atmosphere. My partner is an ale drinker and this pub has a fantastic selection - there really is something for everyone. The Sunday roasts are amazing too - I can't recommend this pub enough - fantastic food and drinks and friendly staff, what more could you want?! Oh and I love that the place is so clean, even when busy the toilets are clean! 🧹🪣🧤🧻🧼😁
K. R.Staff were nice and the pub is great but the service is terrible. The staff just didn't gel together to provide a good service, it's a long bar and they should have spaced themselves out to provide full bar service but they seemed more interested in talking in a huddle and smoking, drinking themselves or being in deep conversation with regulars. I did like the pub and got served promptly when I entered but further pints were a battle and after 15min wait I gave up as did a different gentleman further down the bar near the stage. Staff training and allocation of designated bank of taps per employee might just improve the service in an otherwise perfect pub.

The food is Fab give the Sunday Roast a try they are epic but you need to get your booking in as they are very popular. Can't wait to visit again well done Team you are all amazing xx

Lou always greets everyone and always checks in to make sure you are OK and enjoying yourself. Always entertainment put on, and you are spoilt for choice with drinks especially rums. Highly recommended

R. B.I love to visit this pub. The land lady struts around like a greek goddess, with her hound trailing in her majestic wake. The extensive selection of fine ales and ciders, is only surpassed by the selection of spirits, including a particularly fine smoky, coffee infused rum. The bar staff are great, always cheerful. And then there is the music. Live music. DJs. Dancing. Its a ruddy marvellous place!
J. A.Wonderful pub , amazing food , burgers during the week and the best roast in town on Sundays . Great staff and landlady . They always go the extra mile and are always welcoming . Lots of memorabilia , pool table , juke box and lots of live music to suit all tastes. The garden area is a delight , with different areas and many plants . Eclectic ale and lager selections and many spirits including any kind of rum you would need . Give it a try , you won’t be disappointed!
