Had a great time here.Just went to watch Liverpool v Chelsea with some guests we had staying with us. Expected to be sat there hoping they would both lose but the staff and customers were very friendly and the pool table was free. If we hadn't booked dinner somewhere that night I'd have stayed longer and I was the non drinking driver!

What can I say about this gaff that hasn't already been said, absolute stormer of a venue. One of the best roast dinners in Norwich on a Sunday, and every other day it's a great spot for a cheeky bev and some pool with the gang 😁 love it!!!

Visited here for Sunday lunch after hearing amazing reviews. Really glad we went... On account of other people saying long waits are common, we arrived early and were seated quickly. The food was with us within 20 minutes from ordering, piping hot and generously sized. Really well presented and tasted incredible. Excellent value and would be worth the wait too.

Great view from the outside terrace of the RC cathedral. Inside is warm and cosy. Sunday carvery is one of the best I've eaten. Every ingredient is spot on, cooked to perfection, BIG portion as well.

Sunday roast, Sunday roast, Sunday roast! It's certainly not the only good thing about this place but it really is a major strength. It punches well above its weight given its value. Really, really, really good Sunday roast. Plus the landlord's a nice guy, they show the rugby and it has a nice relaxed friendly atmosphere. Good for food or just a few beers.

Fantastic small pub that gets extremely busy over the weekends, particularly Sunday lunch. I highly recommend booking if you wish to eat there. Food lead the can vary from 20-30 minutes depending on how busy it is. The food itself is nice and tasty, though I'd prefer a bit more meat a little less veg. Prices are approximately £15 including a drink for lunch. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Small car park so walk if you can.

Food delicious, I had vegan and hubby had turkey crown, both plates had plenty of vegetables and meat or vegan option. Considering where its situated the noise from traffic was not a problem at all. If you are thinking of going between 12 and 1pm you do have to book. After that you wait until a table is available.

The Sunday roast was amazing as people have said .There was a choice of 4 different meats .I had the pork belly roll with all the extras which included red cabbage ,roast potatoes,cauliflower cheese ,veg and a huge Yorkshire pudding .All for £9.95 .I don't normally write reviews but the Temple Bar deserved it.

Arrived early and had a pint whilst waiting for a table for two. Once it was cleaned we were seated and within minutes our orders taken. Food arrived (two turkey roasts) within 10 to 15 minutes, warned the plates were hot (and they were). A couple of doorstep slices of turkey, with roast potatoes, parsnips, caramelised onion and then arriving separately a large bowl of carrots, broccoli, peas and sprouts, then a bowl of cauliflower cheese and finally, two pots of cranberry sauce to finish off. Absolutely lovely and plates cleaned. Brilliant food, service from all and a laugh with the manager to boot. Definitely recommended and will return next time in Norwich for last sitting at 1630 so we can expand at table, drink and watch the match! Cheers!!

Such a great Irish pub with wonderful owners and great staff. Good selection of drinks especially the Guniness. Great atmosphere with two bars to socialise. A pool table for some competitive fun with some friends and open late too. One of the best Sunday roasts in Norwich every week without fail.
