L. M.Went for lunch today and had excellent customer service from new manager Ivan.
He clearly cares about running the establishment and offering a high level of service, which he did well.
The scenery is beautiful, right by the river with plenty of seating, in sun or shade, depending on your preference.
Mine personally is firmly shade, of which Ivan was very accommodating.
He ensured it was a special visit for my children which is greatly appreciated as we don't eat out often.
The chef was also friendly and the food was tasty.
Great experience overall with lovely food and scenery but the genuine care and attentiveness of Ivan in particular really enhanced our visit, making it a five star. Would recommend to anyone. Thanks!

The food is fairly average, but is cheap and they have a lot of deals so for what you pay, it’s ideal.
The place could do with a once over, but the location and super friendly staff make it.
I go every Wednesday for burger and drink for £8 deal!
T. R.The decor in the restaurant was getting shabby, and would benefit from re-furbishment. We ordered at the bar, but were told they had no pineapple, so my wife's choice of a Hawaiian pizza was not available. Instead she chose BBQ chicken pizza while I had Meat feast pizza. The pizzas were 12 inches - pretty huge for one person, but were thin, so were not stodgy. They were clearly freshly made and were quite pleasant. We were too full for dessert! A big plus was the glorious view over the river - if the weather had been warmer we could have eaten in the large sloping garden, although the patio was being used by several smokers. Prices were sensible (Pizzas between £9.50 and about £12). Other main menu options were a range of burgers, or a carvery. This place would work well for families.

Our pizzas (margarita and veg supreme) were amazingly tasty and fresh ingredients used.
We had a deal of free drinks with pizza for £7.99
The chunky chips were out of this world!

Our food took about 40 minutes to arrive. I specifically told them no onions but when the food arrived there was onions in the burger.
I reported this and said the kitchen staff need to read the order carefully. As the food was already cold l told them to leave it.
I hope they have listened to my complaint and that it dosent happen again
