One of the best community pubs in Norwich! Great food! Some great traditional ales, including my favourite... Wherry! The whole pub looks like it's had a lick of paint recently. Staff are friendly, as are the locals.

My husband and friends enjoyed the beer and food. I was extremely disappointed with my food, vegetable curry. It was priced as the same as the beef chilli, - loads of meat, however I only had 6 pieces of vegetables floating in a curry sauce. No protein so very poor value for money. For a vegan curry please put some tofu or chick peas in, we need protein too! Would be reluctant to eat there again.

A great local serving wonderful ales and with an excellent menu. Very covid aware and it feels very well handled in that regard. But in view of the revised opening plans for after Christmas maybe it would be helpful to publish them here? Just a thought.

Great popular local pub. Nice atmosphere with good range of well kept beers. Food includes cooked breakfasts, lunches and evening meals. Have tried the Sunday roasts a few times and always been good. Would recommend booking a table though.

Bias review given this has been my local all my life. Change of hands has seen the menu and drinks offering improve but disappointed to see the pool table go. In need of some TLC and updating throughout, including the l tiny toilets. But still a great little local boozer

Have been here many times in the past, whether it was when I was at college in the late 90s playing pool, or just having a drink and a bite to eat when I was in my area. On this occasion, I was passing and decided that a cold drink was in need. I had a small Diet Pepsi, and surprisingly ended up sitting there for an hour watching the people pass by. The Trafford doesn't have its pool table anymore which I don't mind, it is still the pub I go to for food and drink when I am in the area.

Very popular and busy local with a great, ever changing range of ales and a welcoming, unpretentious atmosphere. Food is pretty good although it has got a little more expensive since the change of management. The Trafford's sausage rolls, though, are legendary!

Called in as i couldnt walk any further so took a seat outside the manager came out and spoke to me so i explained the bus was stuck as there was an emergency no taxi for an hour he was very nice so i went in spoke to a few customers who were very friendly i had a pint of blondie and i will return alot more many thanks

Not Victorian as it says in the description, but 1950s. Good pub food, fantastic selection of 10 real ales, very friendly staff. A great example of what a good local pub should be like. One of the best, if not THE best, pub in Norwich.
