B. F.A very cool and modern premise with quirky light fixtures in a converted bank. The bar staff were friendly and chatty. Good selection of draught beers, but also ciders, wines, and spirits. A city pub, so I think is frequented by night-outs and workers rather than being a "local". Good social atmosphere, including monthly swing dancing upstairs (which I attended and was very fun). Sporting events are shown
m. m.Came here early doors after some bowling around the corner. It was quite quiet, but this was a relief after the bedlam of bowling on a Saturday afternoon!! Nice, well lit single room with friendly, knowledgeable staff and good atmosphere. It's not cheap in here but there is a huge choice of beverages. Clean and tidy throughout.
D. H.A wonderful gem of a pub. Dog friendly (and my dogs absolutely love it there). Staff always go above and beyond to help and make you feel welcome and it's also a great place to catch live football/sport.
L.This is a nice "traditional" old style pub , with outdoor seating, with parasols over the tables, where you can smoke outside.... Face masks now NOT mandatory , for inside drinking....But, a good choice of wines , beers spirits, inside..... Friendly bar staff,.... And looks like it's a local for the Nottingham Panthers Ice Hockey fans , as there's ice hockey team shirts in there, and other ice hockey paraphanalia, on the walls. It's right next to the Nottingham Motorpoint Arena where they have music concerts........👍👍 Prices seem ok.....

Not sure about food, but the impression I got was this was very much a drinking pub, there was a dog wandering round who seemed pretty content with things so presumably dog friendly too.
Worth checking out.
R. B.Great pub which combines the best bits of a more traditional boozer with the contemporary stuff. A good selection of both cask and keg beers at reasonable prices. The ones I had were all in decent condition - the hand-pull Pentrich was particularly tasty!
It feels kind of out of the way, but as it sits between Hockley and Sneinton Market, it'd handy for the Arena and a would fit nicely into a tour of the tap rooms and pubs which are springing up round there, too.

O. M.Great little boozer at the back end of town, got a few nice beers on, was better when they had schoffehofen but it is no more - at least they do a nice pint of guinness.
They have an events room upstairs for parties too have been there a couple of times and always have a good time.

C. P.Great bar to visit if you're going to see the ice hockey around the corner. Great range of exciting beers from smaller breweries. Had an amazing 'Tiny Rebel - Stay Puft'. The team are excellent and friendly, and seem to genuinely care if you've enjoyed the weird new beer you've tried in your last round. Outdoor seating is nice in the summer, and a function room upstairs is useful too.

P. M.With Covid rules. The pub paid proper attention and ensured we felt comfortable and safe. Unfortunately the beers we tried were not great. This is a nice, cozy pub and usually serves better beer
M. W.The staff are there best asset and are a friendly and funny lot who still have that youthful lust for life that only 20 somethings bar staff retain. I attended an comedy show on the second floor at the weekend and I thought the places atmosphere was fantastic.
Often its a place I'd pass by in favour of more centrally located pubs but after such a great evening spent there I'll endeavor to frequent it more often. For the beer lovers I must say the beers quality and selection are great (craft beer lovers heaven) and I don't think I've had a bad cask pint either.
A. S. C.Really nice environment since their refit. Lovely staff and a great atmosphere. Drinks can be a but pricey but they do have a brilliant range of craft beers etc. And, of course, they are one of just two places in town to show ice hockey (rather than football)! Food is great

N. H.Good pub just out of the city centre, but an easy walk from Lacemarket tram stop. Showing both Forest and the Rugby kn the two screens. Chilled out atmosphere, nice and friendly. Good prices.

M. G.Popped in for a pre-show drink before seeing Kaiser Chiefs at Nottingham Arena in February. Could not believe the wide range of products, I could easily have spent all evening in here- craft beers, cask ales, whiskies galore fantastic!
The pub clearly, and understandabley, has a tie-in with the local ice hockey teams which play at the arena next door and adds a bit of character to the decor. The pub was packed solid but the staff coped well and even had a bit of Kaiser Chiefs on the sound system. Went back in for a post-show pint afterwards too.
