L. W.Visited yesterday for my 2nd time, considering I'm local can't believe not been before!! Is on my list now of fave pubs so I can work my way through the delicious menu 😋 had the angry hash burger was rather good (last time fish & chips, equally good) thanks to a great team too 👌 keep up the good work! 🌟
K. H.WOW!! stumbled across this pub while waiting for a train back home, we ended up getting the hour later train. The beer was lovely and we was greeted by a young barman think his name was Kye Absolutely amazing service to which he shown us the heaters outside next to the benches hubby even wants to come here again when we are back in notts. :)
m. m.Came here when I had 2 hours to kill, Monday 8th. 12 oclock Very friendly greeting from the bar staff. Had a 'mighty meaty' pizza which was absolutely gorgeous ! I don't normally choose pizzas when eating out but I'm glad I did this time. Couldn't see/taste any 'burnt ends' as advertised but it didn't really matter - I'd still order it again ! Many thanks
E. S.First time in Nottingham and this was the first pub we stumbled into, a lucky pick! The staff were so nice and friendly and gave amazing service. Lovely outside area, great selection of drinks and food was nice too. Would definitely come back if I visited again.

My tic disorder made an appearance and was told "don't apologise for things you can't help" and it made everything so much more relaxed.
Food was absolutely stunning, (the accidental Korean pizza was superb!) and my sister got her ice cream.
I wish I'd gotten our servers name. He was wonderful and an absolute delight to be around! Give him a raise. He deserves it!

I. Y.Amazing staff! Amazing function room! Amazing time! We hired out the function room for a long overdue family get-together. It was perfect, Chris, Lauren, kye and our personal bar man Billy were fantastic. They catered for absolutely everything we asked for and made the whole process so smooth and easy. We will definitely 100% be back next year to do it all over again! If you are looking for a function room in Notts look no further!

R. P.The food is amazing, we've had the Sunday roast with unlimited gravy and yorkies, starters and the. Loaded burger. Best quality meats, perfectly seasoned and fresh. Staff are always welcoming and chatty. This is now one of our regular Sunday stops, well worth your time, checking this place out.
S. K.We went for our Christmas meal with work. The food was OK, there was 13 of us so always difficult to get it all out but overall they did well. Cold in the pub though with strong draughts in the area we were in. Staff were lovely which makes a huge difference.

Food is absolutely amazing, wide range of spirits, draught ciders(Rekordelig Strawberry and Lime, Orchard Thieves), cask ales like Doom Bar and lagers(Camden Hells, Carling, Birra Moretti, Amstel etc) at a reasonable price. Staff is super friendly, fun and helpful and the whole place is well looked after and most importantly, especially after COVID-19, very clean!!
This is a place I'll definitely keep coming back to from now on.

G. J.On a flying visit to Nottingham stumbled upon this gem. Friendly, attentice stagf, nice beer and a burger to die for.
My advice go for the angry hash burger with extra hot sauce. Make it a beef pattie and you've found perfection.

A. W.This has become my local since moving in here 3 months ago and couldn't ask for a nicer place to have on my doorstep. The staff are so welcoming and remember us everytime we walk through the door. They even know what drinks to start pouring or what to recommend to suit our tastes. It's so much nicer than the pub next door and it's a shame people don't tend to notice as much. They've really embraced the historical identity of the place in the canal themed interior. It's usually busy enough to have an ambience without it being too loud to talk. Highly recommend to anyone visiting nottingham who wants a real feel for what its like to live locally.

Ordered the home made steak and ale pie, nicely cooked and very tasty accompanied by onion mash and broccoli and home made gravy. Very tasty! Home made sundaes (with an alcoholic twist) for pudding. J. K.Went in to meet a friend before going to Navigation quite inside but plenty punters in courtyard, as it was a warm evening. Very nice inside good variety of beers. Beside cabal so loads of seating by canal good atmosphere when sun out!!
P. B.Great place with a warm attitude and long and rightly proud history in nottingham. While it is now No longer used for loading and unloading goods for the many canal barges that worked the water ways. It remains loved by the new and old customers alike. Ive had many happy hrs there.
j. h.Used to be a worksheet for canal boat repairs and so still has a 4 boat canal birth inside the building. Then it became a Canal Museum. Then a restaurant. Has a large selection of beers and real ales and ignoring the menu and reading the specials a good selection of meals. The food was pretty good and didn't seem to be the centrally-booked-and -locally-reheated type. I had a steak and chips and it was really good. Best i have had for ages. It was also fun that we took a couple of visiting Italian friends along who had never seen a real English pub before and the indoor dock clinched convincing them it was a good idea.
They also have outdoor seating right down the the canal and the Italians brought their two terriers with them no problem. A really good evening out.
It's now called the Canal House by the way

S. C.Classic style pub, which some would call dated, I personally like the feeling. Seems like an old country pub inside, with dark wood, paintings and lots of atmosphere. Menu is also like a classic country pub with dishes like game pie quite often on the special board. Food is really nice and good value.
Drink wise there is a lot of selection, especially if you like real ales and beer.
Recommend to those who love old country pubs and good honest food.

The building looks like a re-purposed canal carriers office/warehouse and this fits the name, Fellows, Morton and Clayton were to the 19th century canals what Eddie Stobart is to 21 century roads. I liked it.
