Beautifully refurbished after the place was visible aged. I like the style and the countryside pub design, the variety of drinks is quite good and the staf is quite friendly. Regarding food, welllllll... not the best place to eat, but not the worst, the food it is quite basic, even for a pub, ok in general, they offer large colorful portions. I recommend it for drinks and atmosphere, in the end is a pub, not a restaurant.

Nice ambiance. Came with colleagues for lunch. Good food and drinks collection. I had a Mac and cheese and Sprite zero. Really enjoyed the taste. The pub had outdoor seating as well. Probably could use some fans/ Aircon near the place facing the road. We sat there and regretted sitting on a hot summer day in a warm spot.

The Hayloft has had one hell of a face-lift. Forget what you know, they place has ge uinely improved and new ownership has it moving forwards. A wide range of ales and beers, and a pretty good Sunday lunch makes it a great option in the area. It's not perfect and is still getting there with the food side of things. But for a good casual night it's a great option and we'll worth a visit

What a lovely place this has become. The Hayloft really has become a great place. Nice beer and good food along with a great atmosphere and a friendly people serving. Definitely ticking all the boxes for me. It’s good to have a local pub that also shows the sport. Will certainly be back. Keep up the great work that you and all your staff are doing. Excellent

Nice place for a quiet meeting with friends or to watch the football. If it is the sports you want then you can see a TV from absolutely everywhere. Good selection on drinks and a great atmosphere. Food is also good whether it’s a meal for 1 or something to share as a group they have everything covered. Great team working there as well

Not been in since the refurb and although not much has changed the overall character of the place is much better. Came in for a quick drink and the staff were great, young lad and the lovely lady were friendly. Even better as they are dog friendly so can definitely imagine they have a great community spirit. It’s not hard to be a good pub, but I’d go so far as to say this is a great one🥰. Will definitely be back❤️❤️

The Hayloft did a wonderful job tonight. We had a table of 14 and everything went so smoothly. All our meals were brought out very close together, so no waiting around for ages for everyones meals to turn up. the food was lovely, the staff were friendly and efficient. Will definitely be back!

Visited again a couple of times recently since the recent refurb. Friendly staff and food/beer has been good on both occasions. It’s good to have a pub with a decent dart board set-up - that and we’ll kept Guinness will keep us coming back

Once again service was amazing. From bar staff to waiting staff. They must have some sort of special training as they dealt with everything like a 6 star hotel. Food was fresh. Treated the dog like a king as well. Thankyou.

A rainy Thursday lunch time, an ideal place to meet up for a pint, tea, coffee, hot chocolate or a bite. Didn't have anything to eat but I will try it under different circumstances. Plenty of televisions for watching sports, and a large carpark to the rear of the building.

Another Cracking Pub with Friendly & Hardworking Staff. It’s a Pub that you can Drink in and not feel out of place, the food is Very Good “ My Complements to the Chefs and Table Staff who are also Friendly and Chatty. The Pub changes in the Summer to a Thriving Sun Lounger with people from all over Basking in the Beer Garden. Very Nice Place

Nice place with nice staff but Sunday roast was very disappointing. Menu says ask for vegetarian options. Yeah... The option is you don't get meat and nothing vegetarian instead for the same price! Never happened to me before in any pub to be honest. I though it's a standard to have a veggie option, especially if your menu states that. What is more mash potatoes was weird and tasted old, so did the Yorkshire pudding unfortunately.

I revisited this place after they have done it up and it has not gone very well which is a shamed as they spent a lot of money on it but from me personally going and speaking to friends, they say the beer was flat, foods not great and the only thing that had improved was the decoration.

Large barn type building with rustic, farming, vibe. Real ale choice is very limited and the food menu not particularly wide ranging and is pricey. Has a garden at the front which was nice. Owners have come and gone and this shows as the pub has a managed feel rather than landlord run. For that and the lack of real ale I'd say stick to the much better Caught and Bowled micropub near by and those in Eastwood. Edit - they now have three real ales according to their social media page so will award an extra star.

Not too bad. Bit of a long wait for food, but it can be forgiven, seeing as there were 5 of us. Burgers were a bit burnt on the surface, onion rings were a bit greasy. Overall, it's a fairly average pub as far as food goes, not bad.

Nice place to meet work colleagues for a Christmas get together. The food was ok. Nice atmosphere. I would like to see the pub putting on one or two more vegan options and increasing the size of their curry, particularly as the poppadoms weren't vegan friendly or replaced for me. It made the meal a little expensive. Taste was good however.

Haven't been here for month's as its usually a cold drafty hole, but called in on the off chance for lunch. Very friendly landlord, and food was surprisingly good.. But mostly I noticed it was nice and warm.. Although the radiator next to my chair wasn't on and was leaking a puddle of water. Would go back again for food.

This pub use to be the best pub around, unfortunately it's really let it self go. They don't have skysports, so no football, the food is a 6 out of 10 at best and coupled with no atmosphere/hardly anyone in, it doesn't bode well for the future, such a shame.

Decent pub. Drink there most fridays after work. Always friendly and clean. Cottage style pub with decent prices and exceptional food. Only down point is that the pool table is squashed between four walls and not enough room to take a shot sometimes. Stairs in a strange place too. Would recommend it to anyone :)

I've been popping into the Hayloft here and there for 20+ years (I've got Ikea to blame for that) and I'm happy to say that it's never really changed. The Guinness is always nice and the staff are always very friendly. The next time that you're out buying a Billy Bookcase, why not pop in and try it for yourself?
