A. M.Brilliant pub, incredible music, and staff. All the other customers were friendly. The pub is family-friendly as children are allowed on the premises. Relaxed, friendly atmosphere. We can't recommend it enough!

Never disappointed by the atmosphere or friendliness of the staff. When it's quiet it's relaxing and chilled, when it's busy it's full of energy and excitement.
Best music venue in Nottingham.
S. M.On a 3 day break away with my fiancée we found this amazing place tucked away in the centre of Nottingham.. we went for breakfast one morning - and what a breakfast! Damn good coffee and the scrambled eggs were spot on... we found Jamcafe so intriguing we saw that they were doing a quiz in the evening.. so we returned later to not only have a good laugh doing the quiz but to enjoy the amazing selection of Gin and beer! The atmosphere was buzzing, with a great selection of music and people. Definitely recommend and will be visiting again!
Ι. Κ.Probably the best place in Nottingham. Collaborative in its operation, proper prices, typical drinks and the most friendly and warm atmosphere in the city. From a social-wise perspective, it's a progressive place.

Great music, nice crowd, excellent friendly service, an extensive drinks menu, the outdoor seating feels very continental, you can eat food from the great surrounding restaurants, dog friendly outside which provides more entertainment, brilliant live gigs and it's open pretty late.
Like another reviewer, I've recently moved to London. There is nothing like Jamcafe here. I've made a terrible mistake.

L.Jamcafe is literally one of the very few places you can go and feel very happy surrounded by people which come from a diverse environment, diverse professional background, from different places around the world and just wish to feel good and are open, kind and true. Everybody I met there wanted to have a good time and make everyone else feel they have a good time.
Place shines with pleasant people, no snobs, no shallow folk with foolish impressions and I honestly hope it stays that way.
If you wish to have fun while in Nottingham on Jazz music, blues, Indie styles...that is the place for you.
The service, management and dj selections are brilliant.
Do not forget to check out the vynil collection which is fantastic along with other souvenirs.

T. A.Had half an hour to fill before a restaurant booking so stopped in here for a quick drink as a result of their very impressive selection of beers and ciders.
The staff couldn't have been more helpful - all the tables were occupied, so he went inside, found a little serving table and some stools and set it up for us outside. Our drinks orders were taken quickly and the drinks arrived similarly quickly.
We enjoyed our experience so went back after our meal and again weren't disappointed.
Great atmosphere as well with a very alternative crowd and vibe, and meant we ended up having a great conversation with the table next to us and we weren't the only ones doing that. Being able to sit outside in the vibrant bustle of the street definitely enhanced the experience too.
K. B.Jamcafe has been one of my "go to" places during the pandemic. They've handled the restrictions brilliantly with friendly table service, a good range of beers and great music. No additional fiddly apps or admin, just a quick check in, a clear menu board and attentive staff

F. Y.Intimate venue with (actually good) music and a friendly, international clientele. My only gripe is that they don't have soda-water on tap; but otherwise have not yet had a bad night there! Enjoy with friends or even alone, they have a few seats in the main space that's still part of the dancefloor, so you can take part in the vibe whilst seated. Great establishment.

J. C.I've never written a review before which is why it's so confusing to me that last night I told the owner of this place I'm going to give him a terrible review. Its also confusing because the place really, really wasn't terrible. I only said this because the last few drops of my pint were taken away from me, very rightly so, because the bar was closing and I was also far too drunk to still be drinking. I really regret saying these things to the staff, I'm really confused as to what was going through my head but I suspect it was the huge amount of alcohol I'd already consumed.
This place had a great atmosphere, busy but not imposing. A great diverse crowd, all of whom seemed friendly and genuine. They had a great DJ, playing some amazing songs. They served great quality, reasonably priced drinks. I really can't fault the place which is why I'm so embarrassed and regretful of my actions last night. I'm going to suggest to my friends that this becomes one of our local regular drinking spots, and hopefully if they have me back, next time I go I'll be much less drunk and much more apologetic.

M. E.I freaking love Jam cafe. It's the best place to go dancing on a Saturday night if you don't like the standard club fayre. They play a really eclectic range of music. Great range of beer although might be a bit pricey for some. Be prepared to queue for the toilets when it's busy as there's only two. Staff know their stuff and are really friendly.

S. L.Small, cool bar showcasing talent from local djs and bands. Has indoor and outdoor seating, is usually gets very busy as the night goes on, but if you visit earlier in the evening tends to be quieter (9-10pm).
Serves a good range of draught and bottled beers.

J. J.Rustic but with atmosphere, a kind of "shabby chic" always something Bohemian and unusual to intrigue. On the downside, drinks are expensive with no cordials to add into the drinks. The upside is that it keeps Wspoon customers firmly in Wspoons. Build those thoughts into your expectations and you'll have a fine night.

Great food, drinks selection if you're into it, always loads of free music, good people, lots of local creatives and foreigners to mix with, and Jam has great relationships with the local music scene. Highly recommended any time.
Y. P.It has a nice friendly atmosphere and I've seen some amazing live music here that one wouldn't always encounter in the Nottingham night-life.
However, the drinks on offer make for a very expensive night and the place is tiny so that I've always had to wait for ages before we can nab a table, although once seated JamCafe does make for a cool alternative night.
