D.I moved into the Lady Bay area just over a year ago and have visited the Lady Bay frequently and I have to say their staff are always so welcoming and friendly, the food is excellent and the atmosphere. I would highly recommend, I also enjoyed their New Years Eve celebrations and often go and watch the football. An all round superb local!

Sunday had dinner with 3 others. All highly delighted. Steak done to perfection with hacker potato and salad, hunters chicken delicious and 2 small turkey dinners went down extremely well. The friends who had come were so happy they're proposing a return in the next couple of months, even with a round trip approaching 40 miles

S. F.Usually very good, fish is lovely with nice batter, chips have been a little bland in the past but perfect last night. A small fish and chips is like a large at most chippies. Just right for me anyway. Fair price and would recommend. I always use this chippy if I'm that side of the city.
R. P.I come from the South so maybe all pubs in Notts are this well priced. But the landlord is a gent and the staff seem pretty relaxed. Good atmosphere and a pretty relaxed vibe. Service is quick and the app is intuitive. Only very minor negative is that the outside heaters need a longer timer.

c.Summary - Nice pub, friendly staff, good food, fair prices
Food - The food choices here are typical for a pub, it's slightly pricey but the quality is really nice so can't complain. The burgers are especially delicious! If you eat at lunchtime, you practically have the place to yourself, so nice and quiet and of course priority service because of that.
Interior - A little dated, "traditional" if you will. Some like it, some don't. I don't mind at all either way, although some of the furniture is a little tired looking.
Overall then a good choice if you want a nice lunch or dinner!

The food is just lovely & the pub itself makes you feel very relaxed & cosy. The garden area is also very nice to chill out in on a nice sunny afternoon. S. C.Went to the dog show yesterday which was good fun and well run. DJ earned his money keeping it all going. Outside the pub is great, little play area for the kids, nice beer garden.
Inside the pub is grim. Staff unable to make drinks properly, inexperienced and rude.
Pub shows football and screens were in ok places.
A. D.All the family, eleven of us including a baby and a toddler, had New year's day lunch there. Table was beautifully decorated, food lovely and service amazing. We went last year too and it was just as good this year. A proper friendly pub and incredible value for money.
R. S.Good parking but be careful with the exit. Comes out on a side street. Tall hedges means you can't see kids and they can't see you as you cross the narrow pavement.
Inside the staff are good and friendly, but fairly standard menu. Outside steating area is against the street but there are some trees between you and passing traffic.

The wife had the Scampi chops and mushy peas, while I opted for the Cumberland sausage, mash, garden peas and gravy.
Both meals were beautiful and priced just right.
We will be back.
