D. S.Handily situated near restaurants and the Theatre , Lily’s is an oldish pub with a welcoming feel as you walk in. A few different ideas and styles are evident in terms of decor and furnishings giving the impression that dear Lily is trying to keep everyone happy. There are a broad range of good quality real ales and a couple of alcohol free options for boring people like me. TVs to keep sports fans happy and usually a friendly chat to be had with locals at the bar.
Not a huge pub and our only criticism is that a live music duo and announcements of Pub Quiz answers were ear splittingly loud when stood at the bar with some very amusing
and unique pronounciations of the answers that was definitely great comedy value. A really likeable pub with good ale in a great location, will certainly visit again.

S. B.Popular with theatre goers. Situated in an area that features a few very popular bars, where it takes forever to get served. You are definitely better off having a few in here before you even think about heading to the bars. Lovely layout with a good selection of beers on the go. Toilets are a bit manky. Nice outside area to watch the world go by.

The pies they serve are delicious and I would highly recommend. Staff are very friendly and the place is clean. The drinks and food are both good value for money. They have Live music on the weekends which is great. Best pup in Nottingham.

The food is good but pricey amd the pub has a god selection of real ales and offers a 10% CAMRA discount on cask ales. A busy pub so don't come here of u r looking for a quiet evening. Lots of regulars but don't feel intimidated. Recommended.

P. P. T.Nice place. Food was lovel although a bit pricey. . Had three light bites which came with three taster beers. There was a decent amount and when it came to the table a member of staff explained each beer and which plate it complimented. Staff had a good knowledge of the ales available. Went on a Monday afternoon so was quite quiet but can imagine it becomes a lively place of a night time. Definitely worth checking out.

B. B.A very central pub, handy for theatre pre drinks, and certainly very popular, ,nice atmosphere. The decor is not overdone. Not sure why it is so popular, the beer is OK, but not kept in the same class as the pubs around Canning Circus, and I had to wait for the staff to stop chatting before getting served, if this was in another position it would have to fight for clientele. But do come to people watch both within and outside the pub, life is joyous!

L. C.This is a great "boozeer" with regular guest ales, proper spit and sawdust kind of bar. Sadly not many of them are left; Langtrys is always my starting point and more often than not the finishing point as well if I can't be bothered to move :-) It does get very busy and is popular with those visiting the concert hall or theatre royal. Do great food as well.
S. W.No refurb as yet which is fine as will not review on the basis of that. What i will say is When we walked in a bar staff or could be owner started almost barking at us you cannot get food as kitchen has been ripped out! So don't ask!!?? We weren't wanting food anyway so not a good start or warm welcome. We normally have a bottle of wine to share. Apparently same bottle we normally have has now gone up by £5 From previous price.!!!! On that basis decided not to bother. The lily langtry was an iconic pub - fantastic service and great staff. Now it's been taken over..... well it hope it improves from what we experienced

P. R.Staying in Nottingham for a few days I thoroughly enjoyed my Thursday evening in this cosy and historic Nottingham pub. Live music was on with a variety of local artists performing. The music was original and both the performance and song writing ability was high. This 'Roots acoustic evening,' takes place very week and I'm glad I changed upon it. As a non drinker there is plenty to choose from. If you like your ale and cider, this pub is a treat. All in all a nice pub.

J. T.If your looking for a traditional pub that is a bit battered with a mishmash of different table and chairs then Langtry's is for you. I love the eccentricity of the place but above all it serves good beer, wine and food. Pound for pound it serves the best Fish chips and mushy peas around. To round all this off I have always had great service from the people behind the bar
P. S.A traditional pub in the heart of the city that has resisted the urge to go upmarket and is all the better for it. With a large section of real ale and an interesting bunch of characters, it's location makes it a great place for people watching. There aren't many places in Nottingham left like Langtrys now. It is my favourite pub.
