D. S.We called in yesterday when passing for the first time, we were impressed by the decor, cleanliness and overall impression of the place. The staff and customers were friendly with one guy wishing us a good day when we left, only a pit stop as my wife needed the toilet so I stayed for a drink but so impressed we will definitely call again.
L. p.This is one of my locals. Friendly landlady/landlord and staff and good atmosphere. Food has been great and good value when ordered. Drinks reasonably priced.
Recently held my mums wake here. Nikki the landlady was great and put us a lovely spread on for a good price. Plenty of room for all attending and provided our own area The staff on the day again very helpful and provided a great service. Would highly recommend anyone to visit or use this pub for any personal events.

P. G. R. T.I recently visited as I was DJing at an event. The Landlady and team are really nice people and made me feel very welcome. Had vegetable lasagne and a dessert. Tasted great and was excellent value as well.

D. B.Organised a meeting for 21 of us in the Conservatory, A little apprehensive about the food after reading some of the reviews, but need not have worried. The food was excellent, piping hot and great value. The service was also very good. No complaints, only thumbs up. Well done staff.
P. S.First time here and probably the last as we live too far away and were just driving past. The young girl behind the bar was extremely good at her job, friendly and pours a good pint! Menu looked good too! Fantastic beer prices and never had Mansfield smooth before. Lovely pint. Lovely pub!

a.Has changed hands many many many times now but finally think it's being run alot better and had improved . Most the staff here are fantastic and friendly and the assistant manager seems to go above and beyond when you need things done,happy to resolve your issues with no concern but she seems so hands on when she's working they never really seems to be things done wrong she seem to have her finger on the pulse making it all go right. Nice for a little family pub meal.
Improved for the kids every better with a little section were kids can use tablets to play on games keeping them entertained.
P. S.Was only here after a funeral but the place was homely and welcoming. The food menu looked very inviting and the prices were really reasonable. On the authority of one or two people who had eaten there the food is really good.

E. K.LimeKiln has improved over the months on last year visit. Has a lovely large outdoor area. Inside is looking smarter & has a better feel about the place. Drinks are reasonably priced. Pleasent & helpful staff. Can't comment on food as not tried.
S. G.If you always fancied being in the TV series "Shameless" then look no further. Go to this pub,lively music, full of chavs, entertainment, sticky toilet floors etc... But I tell you something you will have a great Saturday night!! It's not fancy, but it's a laugh. Loads of off street parking. But be warned you need to be on your guard as someone swiped my phone out of my pocket while stood at the bar.
