We were welcomed and able to choose a seat, then quickly served and food ordered. The kids menu is fantastic as you can choose small or larger meals, and there was so much choice for them. All the food arrived hot, fresh and very tasty! There was no complaints from anyone! The puddings were also fantastic and so fresh. Overall a great experience; we felt very welcome and would recommend to anyone!

The food and service was absolutely excellent.
We had a young man Callum who was I think the best waiter ever.
He was fantastic with the children and even our golden retriever who I think never been treated so well at a pub restaurant.
The food we all had a varied menu was hot fine quality and very good value.
We as a family of 4 adults and 4 children hsd a lovely time.
We will definitely be coming again soon

P. C.Visited for the first time on Sunday for a Sunday lunch for my mums birthday. It was the nicest Sunday dinner I have ever had in a restaurant. I had the lamb shank, which fell off the bone, it was stunning. Kids dinners were perfectly sized and looked beautiful. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. We will definitely be returning often.

We have been twice now, first because they was one of the few that served at 4pm and looked decent. We went back a second time because we was very pleased with it all. The tables are clean! The menus are clean! The cutlery is clean! They do table service, which apart from being convenient, it's a real help to us. I am disabled and can't walk very well and my mother us 82! The service is extremely good, they fetch your drink and leave you to ponder the vast menu, which they also have different offers on. The food was served on a HOT plate! That in itself is rare! And plenty of food too. Needless to say, my mother is very critical, and i was in the trade for twenty years, but we went back and will be going again! I highly recommend this place, very very pleasant.

There is a nice atmosphere, very friendly staff and my burger was excellent.
My only regret was being pushed for time and not being able to try there nachos and ice cream sundae which both looked delicious, I am likely to go back very soon so I can.

I understand if they run out of certain food, it was a beautiful day but they should give you the opportunity to change the order.

L.Went in late Sunday 6.30pm choices where limited just lamb and pork on the roast menu left, I had the lamb which was a lamb shank not slices of lamb I had in my head but never mind I was hungry the vegetables and Yorkshire puds was 5 stars and the gravy was perfect the lamb shank was ok.very fast service with a smile I be going back but earlier next..thanks

I asked for a bottle of champagne and this was just put on the bar in front of me as if I'd just ordered a drink . I had to ask for glasses and for it to be brought to our table,which I found unusual . Our table had lots of empty glasses and not once did any of the staff come and clear it. If they had been busy that would have been acceptable but there were three staff just loitering near the bar chatting and the whole pub was empty !

P. S.Excellent pub for food and occasionally to watch sport. Well priced and friendly staff. The only thing I'd like to see is air con added as the main dining areas get very hot over the summer.

N. R.Good food and good service but the bill was wrong which I can only attribute to the ambiguity of the children's menu. The menu has been updated since we visited in March 2019 and appeared to cause confusion with the serving staff. The bar man immediately rectified the error but if the menu was no so intense with different combinations, this would most likely have not caused confusion for the server. Shame really as the server and food were excellent.
