B. H.Slightly disappointing. Their Instagram makes out like it’s a new place, with lots of menu options.. there was not, it was on one page and it’s was over priced. We also asked for the side dish of the chicken without spicy Mayo and it came on it. Didn’t quite feel that the attention to detail was there.. the hot chocolate was very good though. Wouldn’t come back to eat but would come back from drinks.
When we went to pay staff were on their phones all had their back to us at the bar & what we ordered was not on the till.

K. L.I really enjoyed it when I am in there especially when it is the right staff of course, I really enjoyed the staff I had: Harvey, Samel, Ben and Rob. Recently, Ben has served me recently, his customer service and his friendly vibe and smile has always shine my day when he serves me, the shakes he made me are awesome! Thank you very much for the friendly service, the ones I've mentioned definitely should be bartenders of the year in my fair honesty! Free Wi-Fi, fun atmosphere, nice hanging out place, what can I say more?! It's very lovely in there!
m. p. (. T. A.Always been a favourite haunt of mine with an amazing choice of flavours (over 200 single flavours alone) and premade drinks. Staff were really friendly to my LDR partner on her first time here and gave her an awesome and delicious experience. She especially got a kick out of the N64!

Social distancing wasnt present here as we were seated very close to other people (practically back to back) which made us uncomfortable. But it is a very cute place with a nice atmosphere.

And at night the cosy atmosphere gets even better with music and creative alcoholic beverages like oreo mudslides and skittles shots. The staff are also really helpful and fun.
C. P.Visited Nottingham the other day on a day trip and found this quirky little milkshake place. It's really nice inside and would definitely recommend and visit again if I were in the town again. The prices were reasonable for the sizes of milkshakes and they tasted delicious! They had a wide range of flavours and I chose the cadburys dairy milk large milkshake and it was yummy, the consistency of the milkshake was perfect - it was blended together really well and was tasty. They also have a games console that you can play on!!! The place is quirky with their decorations and has stalls, seats and toilets inside. The staff are also friendly and welcoming and I'd recommend to anyone in the area.
R. W.Been here a few times either for a shake or part of a night out. Great during the summer out the back on the terrace bit. The shakes are really good... I wouldn’t say the best we’ve had but they are up there. There’s a lot of flavours to choose from but they aren’t quite as “authentic” as you might hope. Good place to go at the start of a night but it is so small in there and when there is 50 people in there... it’s a tin of sardines.
M. E.I've come here multiple times and the milkshakes have never failed to satisfy me. However, the quality of the grilled cheeses could be greatly improved. I came in on a Saturday at around 12pm and it was quite busy, I think more staff need to be hired due to the fact that waiting 45 minutes to an hour just for two grilled cheese sandwiches is quite ridiculous. We also specified that we wanted to drink our hot chocolates in, however during 'rush hours' we were not given the mugs that they usually use and gave us takeaway cups instead, didn't like having to spend extra to drink in despite getting takeaway cups anyways. Nevertheless, the hot chocolates were really good in terms of quality and flavour. However, it was not up to the quality or experience that we expected due to the long wait we had.

S. D.A little lunch time treat. Don't be afraid to ask for your coffee hot! As usually served lukewarm. ☕. The milkshakes are a dieticians worse nightmare and my kids dreams come true. Any concoction you can think of they'll oblige in making. Obviously as long as they have the ingredients.
Word of warning ghe floor seems to have been coated in a sticky substance, but jve been told no matter what they use it just won't come up! Nice. Give it a try at least once.

Edit- Went again and got Milky Bar and Chocolate Fudge Brownie. Both were delicious but Milky Bar was the favourite. I'd say Milky Bar and Custard are tied for my recommendation.
E. D.Big assortment of choices for milkshakes. They also have hot chocolates, a breakfast menu and cookies! The atmosphere is really cozy and the staff was super helpful and nice! Also, there's some games to play if you're feeling bored which was a really fun extra!
N. C.It is a two way business - during the day they serve milkshakes and at night they do shots of all possible flavours. The atmosphere is nice and mostly students visits this place. It is rather a small venue but interestingly it has got access to another bar that is located outside at the backyard ( called Secret Garden ) so if you fancy a change it is just literally next door. Unfortunately the toilets are always very neglected at Cookieshake so it is probably best if you hold 😂. Prices are reasonable as for Nottingham and the selection of drinks is vast.

F. B.I think this place has the biggest amount of shakes and flavours I've ever seen in any menu. My sister ordered a berry smoothie and I had a mango-cheescake milkshake with nuts and cream. They were both tasty, but not really a big deal and price wise I found it to be on the expensive end.
I can recommend it to any milkshake lover even if it's just for the vast amount of options. But on the other hand, I only see myself going again to satisfy cravings, so not more than every once in a long while.
C. G.Huge choice of milkshakes-more than you can imagine. Whilst we were waiting for our milkshakes to take out, they were serving breakfasts which looked lovely-will definitely try next time. The only slight negative was that the toilet area in general lacked cleanliness!
T. L.Quaint little milkshake cafe with plenty of delicious options for milkshakes. I personally had a Parma Violets milkshake which was a lot tastier than it sounds.
Pricing is what you'd expect for this kind of cafe/bar. I haven't visited during the night when it turns into a cocktail bar so cannot comment on that.
Staff were very easy going and pleasant to talk to and the overall vibe is really laid back.
Seating was comfortable although a little cramped once a few parties of people are inside, especially with buggies or wheelchairs.
K. J.The shakes are very good, however, the staff leave much to be desired. They are nice, but they tend to take more interest in talking to each other than actually working. This can make the wait time for your drinks a bit long.

Ridiculously cheap as well, 5 confectionery flavoured shots and a VK for £5 is unbeatable on a Wednesday night. Plus the free cookies!! I'd definitely recommend visiting in the day and the night.

I cannot attest to the experiences some other reviewers have had but I have been greet d with nothing but excellent customer service every time I visit. The restraint prices itself on taking care with allergies and work with the customer to ensure that all the right steps are taken to avoid any allergy based issues. The business owners is one of the most friendly and loveliest people you will ever meet and is completely receptive to any feedback you give so that customers receive the best possible experience every time. 5/5 all round - my new favourite café in Nottingham.

The mini breakfast isn’t mini at all and had everything you need for a filling and tasty Sunday breakfast, with space for a good coffee and errm post breakfast cookie!

Staff always go out of their way to help- one time I lost my lipstick and popped in to report it missing. 2 weeks later they found it, remembered me and gave me a call to return it. They also gave me a free shake when I came to pick it up! Stellar service.
B. C. S.Pretty good shakes but it was pretty short on the promised toppings and is very similar to shakeaway, becomes a bar late at night. Was a bit rushed and soulless when i was there but has potential. Waited about 30 mins for a cheese toastie too.

The staff were really friendly, the decor is nice and quirky, and decent music was playing at an unobtrusive volume.
I had a Bakewell tart milkshake with cream and a flake (don't judge me, it was my birthday!) and a cookie with Oreos baked into it. Yes, it's quite expensive, but all good shakes are. And frankly you shouldn't be drinking enough of these to actually make a dent in your budget. Luxuries are worth paying extra for. Everything was seriously delicious and I want to go back and try all the other flavours.

d. w.Good shake. Great shake. Only shake you need. You want a chocolate shake, they got it. Jaffa cake, you got it. Freak shakes, some of the best I've had. The food is great too, ham solo panini worth trying. Cookies could be better in my opinion. You want a small cocktail bar at night they also got you covered, with a shot range and cocktail menu as well.
N.Came into store today with my best friend who suffers from Autism, his milkshake was a bit too thick and sweeter then usual and he would not drink it, staff upon asking immediately made him a new one without charge and perfectly too his liking. Brilliant service!!

n. m.I understand waiting a while for the service due to business but staff didn't even acknowledge me for 5 minutes after walking in. Tables were sticky and the premium milkshake I ordered was fairly bland. I imagine from it being made with too much Ice cream and a lack of confectionery.
s. 1.If you're looking for a place with cool, relaxed vibes and the best milkshake, then you definitely need to go here. Honestly, it's one of my favourite spots in Nottingham. When you first go there, the 50+ menu milkshake options can be a bit intimidating, but there are pre-selected themed drinks if you're indecisive. Personally, I opt for the rainbow shake - I put Millions, Rainbow dust, and Refreshers in, and always go for the biggest size. There's plenty of chocolatey options too if sweets aren't your thing. They have a stamp card, so loyalty is rewarded, and they have some snack choices like cookies. Whilst you're waiting or if you're sitting in, there's some retro consoles like Sega Megadrives and PS1s to play on. The craziest part? After 20:00, it transforms into an equally exuberant shot bar. Seriously, it's got everything.
Y. L.I had a bacon toastie with tea and a cookie here. I didn't have a shake so I don't know the quality.. but the toastie was lower than my expectation. The toasts are too thick and cold (not grilled) and bacons were also cold. When I tried to cut it with knife the bread just crumbled into pieces.. The cookie was also just average.
