J. O.Tried a new dish that they have as a special. Hake with some lovely fresh veg. It tasted delicious and I would defo recommend this place for a meal.
A. C.We visited the Nottingham Knight for dinner, staff were very friendly and pleasant. Food was OK, managed to hit the spot after a long day out with the kids. I ordered some beef dripping gravy to go with my steak, and it really just tasted like normal gravy that you would have with your roast... but apart from that all good. We finished with a sharing chocolate sundae, but unfortunately it defeated us, despite best efforts from our two small people...!

R. H.I arrived here for a wake and the staff were very nice, the spread was fantastic and the area designated to us was was a nice space with access to the garden area. The only minor inconvenience was with a wake of 40+ people there was only one bar staff at hand. Perhaps a thought for the future but ultimately a brilliant place with history related to Pat Harrison who worked there in her 20s.

Went for wife's birthday and they gave us a side room as there was so many of us, ideal for kids to go and play outside, also you don't upset anyone else with your noise, couldn't fault the service, all staff that served us that day were so attentive and nothing was too much trouble.
Would definitely go back time and time again, Fantastic menu, reasonably priced and as I say orsum service.

The rwo ladies that served me, midday 20th June, were charm personified and the food, just a bowl of chips, was well presented beautifully cooked and delivered with courtesy. A couple on an adjoining table were having a more substantial meal, and both were very complimentary about it. The coffee to my tastes was good too..Recommended.

m. m.Came last night (24/6/2022) and had a great dinner with my Wife and her Sister as we also did on the 7th. A member if staff was interested in the enclosed photograph of Ruddington pop group 'Sons and Lovers' at the Nottingham Knight petrol station in 1966. I am the one holding the pump showing petrol priced 5 shillings and 3 pence a gallon (5p a litre!). The petrol station would be approximately where your car park is now. In 1967 we were support band to Jimi Hendrix in Boston.

The only thing I can pick on (and I'm really picking) is the starters and desserts should come out with their own cutlery and not thrown willy-nilly on the table but as I said it's really picking as all the cutlery was clean.
J. H.First time to this pub/grill and was not disappointed!!! Me and my 8 year old both had the children's Sunday lunch and it was fab 👌😃 chicken breast roast potatoes, cabbage, carrots, Yorkshire, and stuffing with gravy, empty plates all round.
The staff couldn't be more helpful and were friendly and didn't rush you to order, was busy as far as social distancing goes, will be visiting again.

I booked an evening meal on the Saturday night and was really impressed with this establishment.
Easy to book online via the Greene King website.
Received a nice friendly welcome and greeting as we walked through the door.
We were shown to our table promptly and I was impressed with all the safe distancing measures set out in the pub.
All the tables were a safe distance apart and all staff were wearing visors.
Everyone also got a friendly reminder that face masks must be worn when leaving the table.
I think this was excellent and felt very safe in this pub.
All the staff were excellent.Very friendly and helpful.
The meals were also excellent.....We had were Char-grilled Scottish salmon fillet,Char-grilled Gammon steak and Katsu chicken.
They were all freshly cooked and very tasty.
This pub will be my first port of call when visiting a young lady at Nottingham Trent University in the future.

C.Arrived without booking and there was no tables available so we asked if we could eat outside which was fine, 5 minutes after ordering our food we was told there was an available table inside so we swapped tables. Food took about 35 minutes to arrive which is understandable due to how busy they were and probably have less chefs due to the covid measures taking place. Food was delicious and staff were very friendly and efficient. Very clean and have special measures in place due to covid, such as a one way system and hand sanitizer at the door also staff wearing PPE. It was a bonus that we got 50% off the bill too!

All four kids were happy for the activity packs provided by the waiters. Toilet facilities were clean and even offered a changing station and a nursing room.

They had run out of salad (so no fajitas etc) for dinner, and in the morning they had run out of hash browns. These seem like fairly basic ingredients to keep in stock when the menu is fairly limited anyway.

R. 2.Two meals for £8.99 during the week. Bang on. Quite nice inside all though some of the seats need new covers on them. Food comes out very quick though so you no it's all pre cooked and reheated or microwaved. Still.. It's hot and nice so still gets a thumbs up from me.

J.Visited last week for a meal with family, great and fast service. Food was perfect, one thing missed off our check but was corrected instantly when mentioned.
P. S.A recently refurbished pub/restaurant which is just out of central Nottingham. It also has a Premier Inn attached on the site so is very popular with the business and travelling public. The interior of the restaurant is warm and friendly and very sympathetically done. It has a comprehensive menu with a number of price ranges including a saver section which covers most basic dishes. It is also very family orientated. All in all a decent reasonably priced grub-stop.

Please don't rely on booking via the web site as it is very misleading and does not give true readings as to what is available in pub. Through this I originally gave 4 stars but thought this unfair as pub staff did all they could to rectify misleading web information and although we could not have what we originally ordered we all five of us had an excellent meal.

s. w.The makeover they have recently had has really transformed the look and feel of the place .... it has gone back to the roots of waitering service so your orders are now taken at the table rather than you having to go up to the bar, no annoying loud music playing so you could hear each other talking etc etc
We had a nice quiet table and when seating others that came in they spread them out so that no one was on top of each other, that would change when mega busy I'm guessing.
The food was exceptional with lots of new things to try on the updated menu, I can highly recommend the deli burger lol
