J. D.It was absolutely packed and you could tell why, the drinks were amazing - I love sweet cocktails but most places don't seem to understand the concept. Pepper rocks not only understands the concept in theory but their sweet cocktails are actually sweet and taste delicious! If you're okay standing to drink go for it, if you want a more sit down place this is probably not your venue.

R. H.I went once out of curiosity. It’s great. I had a lychee cocktail which was fantastic. Staff were lovely too. My only issue was the volume of music. We went on a Sunday and the seating and setting is so relaxing it just clashed so much. I’d go there all the time after a long week just to chill and so would a lot of people in my opinion with how cosy it is but we struggled to even have a conversation. Definitely a fan though and will visit on a night I feel more lively.
T. C.10/10 Cocktails were incredible. Only pitfall would be the espresso martini, I've had better at other places in Nottingham. Also, I'd only recommend getting the hotdogs after some cocktails 😂.

Good selection of drinks for every taste, with a range of classic and new exciting flavours. Very pretty interior with lighting and plants, as well as nice outdoor areas, with a combination of chairs and tables and sofas. There are also games you can borrow and a food stall. All round lovely place for a great evening out.

I. S. A.I fell in love with this place the first time I've walked in. It's one of the cosiest pubs that you can find around the city centre and its atmosphere is wicked, with loads of plants and neon lights to let you chill during any season. There's a terrace at the 1st floor designated as smoking area and the top floor is for special situations, ideal for intimate reunions.
Drinks are lovely and snacks/food are not bad at all, there's even a chance to order vegan hot dogs.
If you're lucky enough, you can end up attending a good gig or a vintage sale — although it's a shame the events are not well advertised on social media.

It can get a bit cramped, there's lots of spaces, outdoor areas on the ground floor and first floor but it can feel like you're having to weave around a lot of tables and stools.
There's a bar on the ground floor and first floor so you shouldn't need to navigate the stairs with a drink although I'm not sure of if there's any kind of schedule on the first floor bar.
As for the drinks the place does brilliant cocktails, I'm especially fond of their martinis and old fashioned.
There are largers and other options if you're not for cocktails but you may have slightly limited options depending on how broad your tastes are.
There's also a hotdog window available outside, although I'm usually a few cocktails deep by that point so I can't give a proper review of those!
c. f.Has three floors, always seems to be very full, to the point I’ve never stopped to have a drink. Obviously very popular though and have heard many good reviews and people have recommended, it’s a shame it’s always busy, when we go, they also have lots of games. Not wheelchair accessible.

Cocktails are reasonably priced and even better at happy hours, the DJ was spinning some deep and funky vibes on actual vinyl!

T. L.Hidden away in a side street off Market Square, you might not have heard of Pepper Rocks. Once you do find it, stepping in presents a wonderful cosy interior with leather sofas, and Motown classics playing in the background. It really has a very relaxing and chilled aura. Drinks-wise, they offer £4 selected cocktails everyday before 10pm which are expertly made by the bartender (they free pour so the cocktails are slightly stronger than normal - whether that is a good thing or not is down to you).
They also offer hot dogs for £2.50 but I have not tried them.
Upstairs houses more space which can be hired out, and a balcony - although the view isn't too much to write home about.
Pepper Rocks is a very cosy and relaxed bar that would be ideal to take a date, or just chill with friends. The staff are very friendly and drinks are reasonably priced.
P.Quirky little bar with nice drinks and staff. There are quite a few floors to this place, which makes things interesting. This place does get quite crowed on a Saturday night, but this is for a reason. Enjoy.

f.Pepper Bar is a wonderful bar with the best tapas north of Barcelona. Holly and the Cypriot gave me impecable service and ridded the club of drugged up hooligans thanks to their excellent bouncer. 5 stars all round

J. J.Odder than odd! This little place could skip your notice unless someone told you about it.
It nestles in a pretty uninteresting. cul-des-ac in Nottingham's Bridesmiths way. Next to a series of store loading bays.
But don't be deceived it's very popular and does killer cocktails to just about every conceivable combination. A micro Coyote Ugly meets Steptoe and son's living room. The cast of Rocky Horror would feel every bit at home as the local young conservatives.
A collision of just about every conceivable genre.
The place is full of leather_ish settees that can no longer be contained and explode out onto the street garnished with dozens of round top stools making it a challenge going from the bar to your seat and one that would test the skills of any seasoned world class limbo dancer. Do I recommend a visit? Indeed I do! If you went only once you would be armed with enough after dinner anecdotes to silence the the most detirmined, overpowering bore imaginable.
For me I can't wait to go back and tumble down the rabbit hole into this mad and curious wonderland.
