The building which was previously a church. The staff were friendly. Definitely beautiful bar in Nottingham and the food was delicious with reasonable priced. We would come back very soon.👍
M. S.
What a beautiful building, a converted church now as a bar/restaurant.
I love how they have kept the old foundation of the church and not changed a thing, a nice bar centre within the church and seatting all around.
Nicely situated just before town centre, a easy find of you dont know the area.
I did want to visit with my husband but booking online and finding a free time was ridiculous, I understand this place is a popular place to visit, but come on. (Book far in advance as possible)
Unfortunately when ordering cocktail, they bearly had what I asked for TWICE, however saying that Danni who severed me was so nice and friendly I couldnt be too upset.
Danni has a lovely nature about herself and was very smiley and made me feel welcomed, specially being in a place I dont know and by my self.
The one thing I loved the most was, about 5 o clock the team started to walk in, all starting their working shifts. Yes they may be alot younger then me but the atmosphere they brought, the closest they had, the friendship between them, loved it!
Looks like a great team! Keep it up everyone!

I love the look and the feel of this place!
Our party was there for the Bottomless Brunch.
The choice of food was adequate and the quality and presentation of it was great.
One criticism is the limited choice of drinks. There was only one draft beer, and most of the "cocktails" were prosecco-based. I'd certainly suggest widening the choice (maybe adding another beer, and maybe something like a gin).
The server we had was exceptional. He was extremely friendly and attentative. We never had to wait long when we we ready for another drink.
Overall, great venue, great service and (with the addition of more drink varieties), a great Bottomless Brunch.
P. K.
Fantastic place. Great drinks and food. Very good service. Absolutely fantastic design. Worth money price's ok.

Had a day in Nottingham with family and friends, celebrating a birthday. Our friends introduced us to The Pitcher & Piano. Our first time there, but hopefully not our last! The staff were SO friendly; the building (which was previously a church) is beautiful! The decor is amazing, and I'm pleased to say the fabulous stained glass windows and much of the original architecture have been retained.
J.
Great food , friendly staff, delicious range of drinks and cocktails. Ambience of being in a converted church is just amazing . Fabulous surrounding and decor.
H. H.
Amazing lunch in this former church. Staff super friendly. Superb shawarma chicken with flatbread for £7. Terrific Rioja as well. Had a demo of how they make their bubble cocktail from the Bar manager. Thank you. We will be back for sure.
T. J.
Excellent historical decoration. Tasty & high-quality food. Very good service.
M. N.
This place was really nice and set in an old church. It was packed but still enjoyable. The bar staff didn't know the food was still available to order which was a disappointment. The food itself was lovely and plenty of it in the sharing dish we had.
J. H.
Stunning building and the atmosphere here is incredible. Cocktails are nice here
D.
Beautiful building food good given 5 stars because of the young waiter who served us the place was busy he came over straight away and was very attentive even apologized when food took longer to arrive a real star his name was Ed .
C. O.
Danni was lovely & attentive. Every staff member we came into contact with were really great and helpful. Venue is gorgeous. & the food wow, we had nachos to start & burgers. The little fries were so full of flavour and perfect crunch! I had the chicken burger and it was cooked to perfection. my partners fav restaurant in Nottingham and now I know why!! Thank you 😊
G. E.
We were drawn to Pitcher & Piano by the beautiful building, which is even more stunning inside with all the stain glass windows intact. However we will be coming back for the amazing food, cocktails and service!
I had the whisky me away cocktail which I will definitely be having again, and I would also highly recommend the nachos - the best I've ever had!
Our server, Molly, was very friendly and helpful, making us all feel very comfortable.
We will definitely be back!
R. H.
A lovely place. Delicious food and drink. My only criticism is I bought a Bellini cocktail on arrival only to find out since that they are on the 2 4 1 offer. I missed out on my second drink 😢Other than that everything was great. Nice atmosphere and beautiful surroundings. The Halloumi Fries are the best I’ve tasted. Definitely will return.
L. S.
Very good food, variety of nice drinks and lovely atmosphere. We went for post church lunch and had a wonderful time. Our waitress Molly was very helpful and friendly. I'd definitely recommend a visit.
C.
It's great for a couple of fancy drinks, but you'll dry your pockets out if you plan on getting wasted
R. F.
Really lovely interior and nice spacious outdoor area. Have eaten there before and the food is good. Wide range of drinks on offer.
Problem is bar service always takes ages even at non peak times. I understand they are delayed if loads of people order cocktails but they always seem short staffed and a bit disorganized. It's a shame because apart from that it's a really lovely bar.
J.
Amazing building. Feel like they could have done much more with it. Drinks ok, slow service (order at the bar).
D. Y.
Been to Pitcher and Piano numerous times over the 5 years I've been in Nottingham and it's an absolute gem that I keep coming back to. Amazing food and an incredible atmosphere, decent range of cocktails. Zoe was very friendly on my latest stay and really made us feel welcome, excellent service!
H. B.
Had a lovely meal at Pitcher & Piano in Nottingham last night, I first came here a few years ago so recommended to my colleagues & they weren’t disappointed! Fab food, amazing building and superb service from Molly. She was super helpful, warm & friendly. Will definitely return when next in Nottingham.
M. B.
Nice atmosphere and the food has been OK in this place. But ordering coffees was a mistake as we got two watery and milky drinks which tasted as if they had been made with a few granules of instant coffee (very far from what a cappuccino and a flat white should normally taste like).
C. V.
I came in for a bottomless brunch, was served by a polite and really enthusiastic waitress called Zoe. Overall service was quick, and Zoe really made my experience better. Would love to come back again, brilliant experience. Also good food, and good range of cocktails.
C. L.
Once Millie came to our service everything was great! Originally we were slow to be seen to took 20 minutes to be served but the original slow waitress passed us over to Millie who was very attentive and made sure we made the most of our bottomless bunch. Cost effective for sure. Well done Millie.
M. I.
First of all, the amazing location. It is just impressive.
Secondly, the food. fresh and tasty.
Last, but not least, the waitress, Danny. She was very kind and she asked us if we were alright and if we wanted more to drink.
S. M.
We have recently had bottomless brunch and we were amazed at how efficient, lovely and friendly your staff member Alicia was! She was constantly checking up on us and made the whole experience memorable! She is honestly a credit to your team! I am only one out of 6 girls and even though there was loads of us she was faultless! Thank you so much xxx
M. T.
Great place for drinks / cocktails. Unique atmosphere.
C. C.
I went to Nottingham Pitcher and Piano for lunch with friends Sunday 6th March 2022. It had a lovely feel and vibe in the church being turned into a restaurant tastefully. Molly was our waitress and told us about the history and was very kind and attentive. Would highly recommend and good quality food and drink. Thank you. Look forward to our next visit.
C. S.
We have just done a bottomless brunch at pitcher and piano! Hannah was absolutely amazing! She made sure we were fully stocked with drinks throughout our time! Probably one of the best brunches I've done
g. a.
Our bottomless brunch got cancelled because there was a leak in the kitchen. However they offered us a £15 bottomless drinks without the food. Jess J was an amazing host and so attentive. She looked after us so well and made sure our drinks were always topped up. I couldn’t recommend more. thank you so much to Jess J
R. B.
Loved it today, super service from Jess J. Very nice and attentive. We did the bottomless brunch and was worried we would be waiting for drinks like we have at other bars, however Jess was absolutely on it and as soon as we needed a drink she was onit!! The food was lovely too!
Z. B.
I had my engagement party in the terrace bar and could not fault it one bit. The bar was beautiful, the service was great and my guests had a great time. We were able to pre-order some drinks which were set up when we arrived and I was refunded my deposit on the night! All in all, I would definitely recommend hiring out pitcher and piano for any event!
P. M.
It's always amazing to enter such an amazing church and get a pint. The place is stunning and has plenty of little cozy corners too. The cocktails here are great and it has a real buzz about the place. The outside space with another bar adds a xracking little sunspot too. I always recommend this to visitors to the area
m. j.
Amazing food with a beautiful atmosphere and scenery. Served by Danni, who was a brilliant waitress and really looked after us. Service was quick and couldn't fault anything!
L. R.
Lovely venue with delicious food. The service was good but could have been a little quicker! Most of the staff were friendly and helpful but found a couple with an attitude problem!
O. F.
Visited on Saturday night and had a great time!
Bar was busy, but our waitress, Ceris, offered us table service for drinks so there was no need to queue and wait at the bar! Ceris checked in on us regularly and we were never without a drink in our hand! Safe to say we were well looked after.
Atmosphere was also great - music volume and choice in songs was about right for a Saturday night.
Will be back!
S. L.
Our waitress Jess was lovely all throughout and ensured all of our needs were met, first time coming here for food, we really enjoyed it and will be back again! Thank you Jess for making our experience as lovely as she is (give her a pay rise).
R. R.
Stunning renovated church made into a bar. Great photo opportunities and a lovely place to meet up for casual drinks. Expensive but there is a happy hour on cocktails
D. M.
Molly was a great host for the evening and provided exceptional service to our table. She was welcoming and attentive throughout our visit. I’d highly recommend the visit!
J. A.
Amazing venue, good drinks selection and delightful staff members. Would have stayed entire night.
G. K.
I have had a lovely time on our bottomless brunch, our waitress Mary was amazing. Mary kept coming to ask us if we'd like anymore drinks and if our food was ok. Mary was very friendly and made our experience great. Thanks Mary! Get the raspberry bellini!

We love this place, for drinks and food. A beautiful place to sit and relax.

Had a really great time eating here. Cocktails were also really good, and service was fast. Ed was a helpful and friendly server. Thank you!
J. R.
Super friendly staff for bottomless brunch. Really appreciate good customer service. Drinks were promptly topped up. Food was delicious. Faultless.
K. W.
A lovely environment, great food and very attentive staff. Lorna and Zoe who served us were especially sweet and friendly. Will definitely come back again.
M. M.
good place according to friends but i have a question. i am a pianist and i have seen a picture of a piano here so i wanted to know if there is a playable piano here and if so, is the public allowed to play or do you have to pay, or just no piano at all??
F. C.
Amazing place to eat. Inside a church. Can you believe it?! Food is good and staff is very polite. Will come back again for sure.
L. S.
I came for bottomless brunch today and Zoë was excellent! Always made sure we had a drink and was very welcoming! Will definitely be back!
1.
Great place for wee drink and food. Recommended !
H. C.
Came for bottomless brunch and Ed was so attentive, he was the best server and gave great customer service - the food was amazing and he was always ready to bring more drinks. Had an amazing time highly recommend!!
M. Z.
Hi
Had bottomless brunch at Pitcher and Plano yesterday - everything was perfect - the place, the food, the drink and our amazing waitress Zoë’. Nothing was too much trouble for her. We will definitely be back. Thanks for making it so great Zoë’!!
A.
Not from Nottingham but we came up for a family event and stopped here for some food. The restaurant is a really beautiful and unique setting, with pretty affordable prices. The food was very nice but portions are alittle small. Staff were polite and would recommend to somone who wants to try a place alittle different.
E. K.
The venue is beautiful, we decided to come here to see the interiors and we were not disappointed in the food either. The starters came promptly (halloumi fries, Padrón peppers, fish goujons) and were delicious. We did have to wait quite a while afterwards for the mains but as soon as they arrived we forgot all about the wait as everything was delicious. Our drinks were great too, loved how the cocktails looked. Our waitress (I don't know her name :/) was very friendly and got us everything we needed. We will definitely visit again.
J. M.
Great experience at pitcher & piano! Enjoyed the food and drinks. Amazing staff, Molly was very kind and lovely.
M. R.
The setting is simply stunning, a large converted church with subtle light changes highlighting the beautiful architecture. Food is reasonably priced and the service can sometimes be slow at busy times, having said that the service is friendly. A great place to chill and soak up the views if you're not on a hurried timetable.
P. B.
Service quick and friendly but food not so good. Ordered skinny fries but recieved normal chips. Nachos with beef was ok but there was a massive slab of what i can only describe as skin/fat. Halloumi fries, jusr 4 slices of it, didn't appear to be cooked let alone fried.
B. K.
We were served by mary who was Attentive and friendly. We will definitely come again and highly recommend. The food was lovely thank you.
E. D.
A lovely venue with a fantastic atmosphere and service yo match. Clemmie was very attentive and is an asset to the business, can't wait to visit again
E. M.
Zoë was amazing at Nottingham’s Pitcher and Piano. She was so attentive and really friendly. You could tell she enjoyed her job and will definitely

Had a lovely meal here whilst in Nottingham on a work trip. Molly gave us fantastic service and overall it was a great evening in a beautiful and unique setting.

For the last two nights we have been to Pitcher & Piano whilst staying on a 2 night break in Nottingham.
The Restaurant is in an old Church and has been very tastefully and respectfully refurbished.. With the addition of Christmas Lights and a tree it looks Magical. The atmosphere in here is lovely.
Over the two nights the four of us have tried out quite a bit of the menu and its very well presented and the Chicken dishes have been particularly tasty.
The Beer was good although no real choice at the time , the one they had more than made up for it.
Service was friendly and our server on Tuesday night was excellent. Wednesday was very busy and they were short staffed but first week in December with Christmas bookings You have to really take this into account. Especially as You don't have to book.
As a Tourist this is a lovely venue in The Lace Market!
A.
Hannah was a very courteous and professional waitress and made sure we were fully catered for throughout the whole night. Would definitely visit again.
E. W.
Nice vibrant place. Great cocktails
A. M.
Espresso martini were amazing, one of the best espresso martinis we’ve ever had. Tyler on the bar was outstanding on her service & conversation.
N. S.
Great venue for drinking and eating. The inside of the old church has been beautifully converted to keep the features of the church whilst allowing it to be used for drinking and eating. Good menu, friendly service. Feels open and very spacious, but can get busy. There are tables outside which are great to use in fine weather. Lots of offers and promos on the website each month.
c. h.
Was served by Ed today. He was really friendly and recommended cocktails, great service :)
Tried to use the link but couldn’t make it work so left my review here instead :)

H. W.
Have had a lovely couple of drinks here! Thank you Mary for being a great server and recommending delicious cocktails- definitely worth the trip
s. c.
Beautiful place, nice cocktails and delicious sharing platters! They serve food until 22:00 and you could get any of the House Cocktails for £5.00 if you order before 20:00.
P. K.
Thanks to Gabriela for a lovely bottomless brunch experience! We were a really big group and she took care of us perfectly❤️
E. C.
honestly ! i can’t express enough how amazing he was ! so quick and genuine! the best bar tender i’ve ever experienced in my life! thank you much Jaime!
D. R.
Beautiful bar in a church. I've been to church bars in the past, but this place is something else! Definitely book a table if you want to visit, as it can be busy, and sitting outside means you miss out on a stunning interior. Apart from the stained glass windows and architecture, the place is well lit and decorated. Nice menu with friendly staff. Will come back again, may even stay all day!
R. S.
To describe in short - Good ambience, Awesome Food! I tried grilled halloumi Burger which came with a side of sweet potato fries which were simply amazing. Never had such tasty fries. The Cheese Burger was also good. As for beers - they don't have Ales which was bit of a turn off. Service is really good. They have outside seating, but I would suggest for indoors as you want always get to sit in a church and enjoy your meal. It seems to be a busy place so I would suggest on reserving in advance. It's a bit pricey but I don't mind paying if food's going to be so good. Highly recommended on your next visit to Nottingham!
V. R.
Jess C. was super kind and we received great service! Lovely atmosphere as well. The church is gorg
G. B.
On of the best in town for a few and food was delicious 👍
S. C.
WOW.....my husband found this by accident, if you are visiting Nottingham it's well worth a visit. Looking at it from the outside you would never imagine how amazing the inside looks. We only had drinks but there was plenty of people around us eating and it all looked great with plenty of empty plates being collected. We will definitely go back if we visit Nottingham again.
J. T.
This bar and restaurant is situated in an old converted church and the setting doesn't disappoint. It's beautifully made up inside with some brilliant quirky features. The staff are helpful, genuine and attentive and neither the food nor drinks disappoint.
L. E.
Cool venue for a sit & chat before heading off to a club.
g. c.
Highly recommend! The food was lovely, in a great setting served by super friendly staff; Lorna and Zoe!
T. C.
The food was great and cocktails were really nice and cheap!. Our server Diya was great!
R. M.
Great atmosphere, server Abi worked non stopped and was very accomodating and lovely!
Those cod goujons were fab!
S. M.
Three starters were unavailable. However we had a pleasant & enjoyable meal with good waiter service from Diya. Thank you.
R. W.
It looks very nice and some of bar members are lovely, music is so so, some pop songs that did not really match the atmosphere, also very loud.
Cocktails were very bland and pricy.
R. W.
Jess J was excellent bottomless bridgerton brunch was great we felt looked after but not bombarded it was very enjoyable
E. H.
Alicia was absolutely amazing. She was so attentive. The service was lovely and quick. All needs were met. The experience was incredible due to our waitress Alicia who responded to every need quickly and efficiently and was so lovely in her communication.
E. C.
Amazing place to go for food and drink! Booking an event is made so easy by the Bookings & Events Manager Malika, she's so helpful!
K. P.
Lucy the waitress was so attentive and really kind. She engaged with us and was always checking if we were ok. Would absolutely recommend her and the restaurant to a friend!
A. J.
Wow probably one of the most stunning looking bars we have ever visited!
J. N.
Food and drinks were great at the bottomless brunch in Nottingham. Shout out to Cerise the bar tender who was lovely as always made sure we were topped up. It’s a shame the guy I was on a date with turned out to be a massive a*se hole!
J. M.
Venue is stunning. We came for bottomless brunch as a group of 4. Food was good and service outstanding. Very happy customers. Would highly recommend.
K. W.
An old church converted into a pub. Beautiful building and well worth a visit. We only stopped for drinks, and as a tea totaler was pleased that they have an array of hot drinks.
O. E.
Great burgers and chill atmosphere, Diya was very lovely and hospitable to us :D
B. B.
Really unique bar situated in a church. Stunning architecture inside, amazing cocktails and great food.
Occasionally they have live music, the one gent who was playing was really talented and complemented the vibe with his acoustic covers really well.
E. H.
I've came here 4 times, the place is amazing but sometimes the service is too poor and they don't usually have all things offerd in the menu. Today we had Pulled pork tacos, there were really good and Mariana was lovely.
a. v.
Stunning venue with modern, comfortable outdoor area complementing the splendour of inside ...
Diverse range of drinks, particularly spirits (they have Xanté, which is a life-changer if you haven't tried it yet) ...
Service is excellent, attentive yet unobtrusive, special thanks to Eve who has looked after me / us the last couple of times ...
Just five minutes walk from the train station, one of Nottingham's many must-visit venues ...
M. K.
Absolutely amazing service, very on it with drinks and Ceris was brilliant with her lovely smile and overall energy. Thank you so much from these nurses ❤️ Seriously needed this brunch !
S. T.
Food was delicious ! Hats off to the kitchen. Bar was handled by under experienced students and the "cocktails" were terribly presented. But still, the food was delish
J. J.
It's fantastic inside, a must see. Drinks reasonable too. Go upstairs for a great view over everything.
M. F.
Myself and a colleague attend the bar for lunch amd dinnertime drinks. We were put at ease with the considerate manner of the staff and had a good time.
S. B.
Way too pricey for a pint of beer, however the fact that this bar is situated in an old church, does wonders for its appeal. Sometimes you have to make exceptions for sheer beauty.
R. G. (. P.
I always wanted to drink in church! I love it it's nice big, good atmosphere. But sound system could be better made (not jbl speakers ;) it's my favorite pub in Nottingham!
M. M.
Lovely atmosphere. Friendly helpful staff especially Lucy H. Pleasant music. Food was excellent.
g. s.
Beautiful venue, great food at lunchtime on a Saturday. Swift attentive service. Would happily return.
b. b.
Angel was a wonderful host, we loved being here with her who made us feel like home! ♥️
P. B. U.
This church has been beautifully restored to provide a stunning and stylish backdrop for socialising, dining and drinking. With stained glass windows and exposed brick.
K. S.
Just looks so beautiful inside. It was a church and now a pub. High ceilings give it a different look, with a long bar in the middle. Definitely go here for a pint when in Nottingham.
S. F.
Our server Clemmie was so friendly so attentive so hospitable and basically the reason I’d come back for another bottomless brunch again
W. J.
An amazing interior. A great selection of beers.
L. T.
Jess was such a good host, really attentive, so lovely, catered to all of our needs, and made our afternoon really lovely.
T. r.
We were In the private room and the young girl that served us was lovely it's a very nice space and we will definitely be back
J. M.
We went to Pitcher and Piano for the Christmas 3 course dinner and I couldn't fault our experience. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced, the staff were super friendly and accomadating, and of course the beautiful church provided a lovely setting. We would definitely come back!
G.
Very impressed with this place. It’s a church that has been converted for use as a trendy place to meet.
My American friend was very amazed as the church is probably older than his country. Now it’s a place that revolves around alcohol.
Oh, the bathrooms feature taps in a vertical arrangement. That’s both quirky and functional if you ever have a chance to experience the bathroom.
A. G.
Excellent service, charming place with historic and architectural value, decorated with very good taste.
Food is very tasty, fresh and quite a nice menu. Cannot leave Nottingham without visiting this place!
J. L.
Had a really lovely lunch. Venue is lovely, food and drink were all amazing and we had a great time
M. J.
We sat down and straight away Diya our server helped us out she was wonderful running us throwing how a bottomless brunch works as I was clueless she was wonderful 10/10 experience x
J. B.
Stunning pub both inside and out, you will struggle to find somewhere more unique. Shame Marston's has it now, Good while it lasted.
D.
Absolutely marvellous and fascinating bar built within what was probably a church, with jawdroppingly beautiful high ceilings and interiors! Right from the moment you walk towards the building, you know that you’re in for something truly amazing, really! Enjoyed my time in there, and found the starters and drinks well worth the price as well. Staff were very friendly too, and would definitely recommend anyone visiting Notts to definitely visit P&P at least once, if not more, to be blown away!
A. R.
Good atmosphere, friendly bar staff, drinks are a bit pricey , food good , with a visit.
S. H.
Nice friendly service. Lovely food at a decent price. Unusual venue
A. L.
Very beautiful pub in an old church. Stunning interiors, good standard pub food. Usually have a drinks offer on with food. Good cocktails!
L. F.
Bar tender didn't know the wine we ordered and took 10 mins to open the bottle.... twice.
I get that you're new staff but come onnnm
J. Q.
We had the best bottomless brunch Hannah was the best waitress ever!!! Would definitely come again!!
C. C.
This is a really nice cosy place with a good atmosphere and decent prices. Only gripe is that they don't have numbered tables so explaining to staff where to take food can be quite annoying but other than that its great.
S. P.
The interior is amazing .. and the service is very good.. they bought the a
Historical church and make it into a high end restaurant.. food is good especially the fish n chip and steak..
S. R.
Nice quirky building that started life as a church. Many of the original features still in place. Serves nice food and a good selection for vegetarians. Nice outdoor seating/eating area. Nice polite staff.
r. b.
It was great service from the moment we arrived the food was delicious great experience and value for money.
D. C.
Very Quirky place this is.. An old church converted into a bar and food establishment. Very clean and tidy. As you walk in the bar sits in the middle as a rectangle with seats all around. and upstairs too. All the original stained glass windows are there so in the day these are really effective and look so pretty. Prices for drinks are high but that's to be expected for the quality of what you surrounded by. The food even though we didn't order. Looked on the menu reasonably priced. Overall a great place.. And if you like to venture out and see different places then this is a must.
N. -. I.
Beautiful venue, had a good time, celebrated getting married in style.
S. T.
Amazing church turned bar. Feel is great, architecture looks amazing, warming hospitality and wonderfully redone!
r. h.
Amazing visually, many of the original features have been retained and the decor is spot on. The staff are very friendly, great bar selection and the food is exceptionally good. I would definitely recommend a visit.
B.
Loved the atmosphere... Food and Service was good... You can find people of all ages and it gets really really busy on the weekends big qies at the bar
V. Y. E.
Ahhh!! Go here! Place is so beautiful! Interior are amazing! Price is above average but this place is always packed. It's that good!
B. C.
This place was actually pretty cool. It's in an old church near town center in Nottingham. The drinks seemed decently priced, but I am pretty sure they water down their liquor. It wasn't overly crowded (granted it was a Wednesday) and the crowd seemed generally respectable aside from one guy who didn't know his boundaries with a girl that was clearly incredibly uncomfortable. The music though was terrible. Every other song was Spice Girls and the the rest was 80s music 😕
A. G.
Jamie was the most amazing waiter for the night ! Made my birthday amazing
The best !
R. K.
Yhe place is nice and cozy. In winter it is very cold there. I did not even take off my coat. The food in general is very tasty. Drinks are a little overpriced. Staff is somewhat careless, you have to follow everything they do. Last time I was there, a barman did not add one dish to the order. Luckily I asked for a receipt and could show him what was missing. Also two of the house cocktails that I chose were unavailable. The waiter bring food and wanted to serve it on a dirty and sticky table. We asked her to clean it, and she did it with no hesitation. She forgot to bring coleslaw that came with the dish and did not offer mayo, ketchup with fries. So I had to ask for it all.
T. S.
Had a great meal in a great location. Brilliant service from my waiter Hannah
L. K.
A stunning place with a vibrant atmosphere, lovely service and delicious food! Highly recommend for a night out, dinner or simply a couple of drinks in a unique settings.
C. D.
Absolutely beautiful bar in Nottingham. However went for a one in a melon cocktail which had ordered the week before in Sheffield pitcher and piano which was delicious and had a few ice cubes and lots if fruit. However the same cocktail in Nottingham had about 3 inches deep in crushed ice and no fruit which was very disappointing and quite tasteless. However still love all pitcher and piano bars.
m. p.
Very good service, quick and friendly staff. Very nice drinks and food. Ed was very friendly and quick.
I. A.
I wonder if this bar should be in the Guinness World Records Book for the highest bar ceiling. Also, the food was good and beer didn't disappoint
A. A.
Good place to hang out and enjoy with family and friends
O. B.
Jess was an amazing hostess. Made our night thank you to her she was amazing 👍🏻
m. a.
Went for bottomless brunch & had great service from Hannah M, good food and drinks
R. J.
The Pitcher and Piano in Nottingham has a unique setting inside a church. The decor and the space is fantastic, and they also have a a terrace over looking the lower part of town and the contemporary art museum. They also run speed dating on Tuesday's if you want to find a partner while drinking
E. R.
Zoe was class! Really helpful and chatty which made the experience great! Give the girl a promotion p&p!
P. M.
Fantastic visit and lovely food, the service from Jess and Clem was brilliant and speedy.

Lovely bar in a brilliant setting of an old church. All the old characteristics are still there. Huge inside with plenty of room and good food during the day. On a night it can get very busy but with it being a bit on the outskirts it's a good place to start your night.
C.
Tasty food, good portions, staff were very pleasant and polite. Enjoyed my meal tremendously.
M. J.
Ed was so good! Had a great bottomless brunch, would recommend!
C. J.
Still a Nottingham Favourite! The new outdoor bar is amazing and the central bar inside is better than it used to be. They still make the best mojitos in Notts, always busy, great place for pre drinks in other friends
H. R.
Quirky bar in a converted church
M. P.
Lovely restaurant, food was great and fantastic service from Ed.
A. R.
This Pitcher & Piano is a bit different to the rest of the chain as it's within a church! They have a big outdoor terrace for sunny days and the food is really really good! Halloumi fries are unreal ♥️
T. H.
Great drinks, great service, had a lovely time.
A. M.
Lovely Bridgerton bottomless brunch, great food and 10/10 service from Jess J 😊
E. J.
Jess C was extremely helpful. Very friendly service !
E. T.
Beautiful building, Big bar, spacious place, lovely music - often live.
I'd highly recommend this place to anyone wanting an nice night out or just a couple of drinks.
R. L.
Beautiful interior, great ambience and good service! With a limited range of non-alcoholic drinks in the city, their Apple & Raspberry Virgin Mojito is an absolute hit!
G. S.
The most amazing bar, restaurant ever worth a visit just to see the building
K. P.
An amazing bar thats converted a church. Amazing on weekends. Pretty young brits come to party here and the music is a mix of genres. Amazing cocktails specially Gin based. The most innovative way to preach your intoxication.
K. H.
Absolutely brilliant service from Danni and the team. Lovely food. Thank you for catering for us!!!
l. L.
Ed was super friendly and helpful really friendly and up sold cocktails and shots
C. R.
Lovely visit, helpful staff! Beautiful iced latte with chocolate cookie syrup ( thanks for the recommendation)
F. F.
A pub in a converted church. Lots of seating in cosy little alcoves. Loved it
T. D.
Once a church, now a pub, still has stained glass windows and other original features. Perfect place to enjoy a pint of Hells. Prices are a bit above average, the ambience of the place makes up for it. It can get very busy on weekend evenings, call that a pro or a con depending on what your preference is.
V. P.
Alicia was very helpful we are not from the area and after great service of drinks she went on to recommend other places aswell as here to go
D. S. (. D. S.
Love this place, great service and atmosphere for an evening on the beers
M. Y.
The food was as expected, the service exceeded our expectations, all the staff were professional and polite, our server, Abi, was fantastic.
K. P.
We booked to have a pre-show meal, before going on to the arena. Service was initially slow, we didn't get our first round of drinks until after 17:00 hrs (sat down at 16:30 hrs). When they arrived one was wrong (mine), despite everyone hearing me order clearly. This was changed promptly.
The starters and mains were ordered, and again were very slow arriving. When the first two meals arrived, it was obvious something had gone wrong, as one was correct and the other was wrong. As my meal was the correct one, I picked at my chips whilst waiting for the other three meals to arrive. By the time they did, I had eaten all my chips, and my burger was tepid.
Not to worry - we were all looking forward to having Tiramasu for dessert. Unfortunately when the server came back, we were told that the kitchen had shut for the evening. I can't tell you how disappointed we were.
When we asked for the bill I was even more upset to see that the incorrect drink was still on the bill (I have no idea if you or I was the financial winner on that one).
To sum up, the venue is fabulous, we all loved the ambience of the ex church. The food was also given a big thumbs up by our party. The service however was dismal, and is letting down the customer experience. There was no visible supervisor/manger presence, and therefore it seemed to be a bit of a free for all.
I would love to go back for the atmosphere of the location, but would probably visit one of the dozens of other restaurants instead.
S. P.
The Waitress was an absolute darling, she was so lovely and met our needs, 100% recommended!!
N. G.
Pleasant atmosphere with large variety of cocktails. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants a chill nightout with a group of friends.
J. C.
Great service fab brunch would recommend
E. W.
Great night here! Excellent, fast service provided by Molly! 10/10 would come again 💜
B. A.
Great atmosphere inside and outside. Good food and drinks as well.
J. F.
Stunning. The low winter sun at lunchtime floods in through the huge stained glass window to the rear, bathing the area in a beautiful pastel green light that my camera couldn't do justice to.
A. a.
Wanted to thank Diya for her help and amazing service :)
K. F.
Nothing like consuming alcohol in an old church.... great place for a pint! The unique setting is a favorite for out of town visitors. Sunday roast is nice, too - especially when there is live music.
G. L.
Ed was very inviting and provided a pleasant service that made each guest want a return visit.
G. L.
Really like this pub, it's one of my favourites
L. S.
Very cool bar, great food too
N. H.
Fantastic service from Molly and great food. 2 for 1 cocktails were a great treat.
S. A.
The place is stunning! Service is fast and gentle, I recommend this
S. C.
Ed was so attentive to our bottomless brunch- amazing food and service
M. H.
Was a little sparse due to covid restrictions, great place for a drink and something to eat, the conversion has been well done ( it was a church) good selection of drinks. Food was a little letdown, wife ordered steak and it was Spartan to say the least, no onion rings, no tomato or mushroom, needs a bit of a overhaul. Would recommend for a get together the place is huge, great atmospherics
O. M.
A must see if in Nottingham, have you ever seen a bar in a church before! It's also a great atmosphere and serves food to boot.
G. E. M.
This place is located on an old church, so it has a beautiful architecture and having a drink there is an unusual experience for most of the visitors. The place is beautiful, the drinks are great and the staff is friendly.
D. B.
Amazing atmosphere, go even just fir 1 drink
D. T.
Service, food and value all good. Accessible / disabled toilet shocking.
J. K.
Wonderful location in a rather imposing converted church. The outdoor area is the best part - especially in the summer! Plenty of seating space, large drinks selection and the staff are friendly
A. L.
I had a lovely time. Lucy H gave us great service! Thank you!
A. S.
An incredible-looking venue. A must-see venue for nottingham really. Slightly over-priced, but makes up for it with the location. Good place to go for a chilled out drink
G. I.
Danni was such a good waitress for our bottomless! Our drinks were never dry !❤️
F. T.
I just love this place, i celebrate my friend bday today very nice
A. P.
A great place for a social evening out. Came here with family. Very friendly and the bar staff knew their drinks. Will definitely return. Again, thanks for a great evening out 👍🏼
S. x.
Ed was an amazing server, so friendly and lovely made my day!!!!! Smash!
N. D.
Brilliantly organised evening, excellent, picturesque venue, barman was fantastic.
s. l.
Fantastic service! It was my birthday bottomless brunch and it made my day! Thank you! It was such a fantastic birthday! Our waitress was super!
A. S.
Amazing transformation from a church, really adds to the atmosphere. Really good menu too with choices for everyone
L. M.
The place is beautiful. We went for a few drinks after work and were impressed by the decorations. I can't rate the food as we only had drinks but everyone was quite friendly and drinks were good.
K. H.
Thank you Ed made our morning!! Ready for tonight in Nottingham, amazing service will come back!!
E. L.
Great bar, amazing building and interior, with a wide range of drinks ( I had Camden Hells which was very nice). A bit pricey and music was a bit too loud, forcing everyone to shout to have a conversation.
P. R.
Beautiful building with amazing presence. The stained glass windows of this former church are stunning. Food choice limited but does sell real ale
M. G.
Very amenable & friendly staff xxx
Malika Peterkin excellent organisational skills !!
S. R.
Have been to the Pitcher & Piano at lunchtime on a previous visits and found it a great experience. But my Friday night booking was disappointing, extremely loud music playing and noisy customers. To be expected on a Friday night no doubt but I shall be avoiding that next time.
H. W.
A bit of a wait at the start but after then 5* attention
D. J.
Great service from the lovely Lorna! We really enjoyed our dinner here and nothing was too much to ask, Lorna made us feel so welcome and accommodated, providing service with such warmth and friendliness. Would love to return and be served by her again :)
L. K.
Had such a good time, shout out to Lucy who was brilliant with bringing drinks
N. H.
Had a lovely lunch and a couple of nice cocktails. Only bad thing is once the rugby came on we couldn't talk to each other as it was so loud so we left.
M. P.
Absolutely amazing atmosphere! Could not fault our evening at all from start to finish we we’re well looked after!
M. P.
Great service, good venue, would recommend
P. C.
It's OK if you go at the right time.
Its set in a church which I suppose is a good novelty, busy weekend times it just seems a bit overpriced and over busy.
I like a good chin wag in a quiet pub so it's not to my taste personally.
T. G.
Such a spectacular venue, definitely worth a visit. However, it can get really busy and I find service quality/speed takes a hit. The staff there are lovely though, even when busy. Good selection of drinks. Food is okay, not brilliant.
T. L.
Best bar in Nottingham I have ever visited. It becomes my favorite now x
L. K.
What a venue! Spent a lovely afternoon working and being looked after by the team
A. C.
Friendly staff, plenty of space and tasty food - perhaps a bit pricey - but I'd come back again.
M. W.
Beautiful restored old church that has been converted into a pub and restaurant.
Y. S.
good services and the drinks are great
M. L.
Gabriella was the best! She was so kind and helpful
E. B. J.
Great venue with great food and staff. Hannah was lovely!:)
T. L.
Only had drinks but a lovely pub, beautifully done and a must visit when ever your in nottingham, cant beat a pub in a church
Z. H.
Food was reasonable, but Lorna, our waitress, was brilliant 10/10 for her service 💕
M. O.
The glass of wine I ordered came in a dirty glass and the service was very slow. Far too many bar staff who didn't seem to have much to do and not enough waiting staff. We waited a long time for someone to actually notice we were waiting for the bill. Other than that the food was amazing.
A. P.
Excellent service both angel and malika exceeded ourexperience
M. G.
Excellent thanks to
Malika and angel we enjoyed our time
D. S.
Lots of spare empty tables out front but we're told they weren't in use so we all had to eat inside on a red hot day. Excellent food though - hence the 4 star.
E. B.
Abi was a fantastic server. Food was great.
p. o.
Its an eye opener from outside to inside. Very nice beer's and food..
N. K.
Amazing experience and clemmie was amazing!!!! Love from emma and Nikki 💗💗💗
I. K.
The food is delicious! Danni was really kind and helpful!
c. L.
Brilliant afternoon and great value for money
R. M.
Alicia was very helpful & polite, made us feel welcome :) thank you
D. G.
Good atmosphere a great place to eat and drink. Would like to see a bigger menu.
J. N.
Beautiful and unique space. Highly recommend this place
G. L.
Great service with a smile, thank you Jess and Clem
E. B.
Lovely atmosphere in the converted church makes it a really nice place to dine. I ordered an aperol spritz to drink and thought it was quite expensive, I go to Italy and have this drink frequently whilst away there for a much lower price and much better quality. It was quite a small glass and it tasted a bit weak. Food was good, we had starters and mains but they were as good as you might get from other places and were a bit more on the expensive side. Overall nice place, staff are really friendly, just slightly expensive for what you get.
S. F. (.
Very friendly server, food was excellent as was the service
P. J.
what a beautiful place, great staff on that night
C. E.
Brilliant experience, server was amazing and made our time here amazing
C. W.
Lets start from the outside the front off a little street you reach the gates to the court of the building of P&P nice original look with benches and few boards of what's to offer then walk into the entrance and few props stationed around then walk further though the doors and you are welcomed into one of the most beautiful settings nottingham and pitcher & piano can offer plenty of seating for couples, disabled or families & parties the decor is a blend wood and metal don't forget this is a restored church but its beautiful and relaxing music is smooth not loud service with a smile BIG Thanks to i think her name was Miriam had our seating ready and provided comfortable service the food was brilliant so good i forgot to take a picture . Thank u p&p and crew
S. B.
Lovely converted church but service wasn't great due to a lack of staff on a busy sunny afternoon
A. T.
The service was good and I enjoyed watching the staff make the cocktails. The atmosphere was pleasant not too loud. The décor was very welcoming
G. G.
Food and drinks a fantastic experience on a a Friday night. Make sure you come early or book it fills up fast!! But definitely worth it. Staff exceptional.
B. F.
Could not fit us in on a week day even though we would vacate the table promptly to go and see a show 🤔
J. C.
A good pub, in an interesting building, sympathetically converted. Nice range of drinks and friendly and helpful staff.
J. S.
Great place, shame that the Kitchen was closed.
It's not put us off ,the staff where nice the drink was well needed and we plan to come back and eat next time.
The Whole place looked great ,weve seen it on line.
C. L.
Great location and atmosphere staff are always friendly. I had the vegan jackfruit tacos smothered in bbq sauce. Needs work it had too much sauce not enough filling in my opinion even though I dont think vegan food is their specialty I give that dish a 4 out of 10.
J.
Nice food, unique architecture.
张.
The surrounding is good ,waitress Diya is passionate
V. G.
Loved the service from Jessie Jordan, she served us very efficiently
P. F.
Great place to Meet and Eat and Drink with great atmosphere and surroundings
K. C.
Angel was amazing, good food and drinks and great service
J. D.
Such a beautiful place to relax and unwind. Polite staff and kept very clean. Plenty of places to sit and nicely spaced out. 100% recommended
E. H.
Molly was our server and was awesome. So friendly, and quick to deliver our drinks, she really added to our experience - so much fun xxxx
L. M.
P&P hosted us for my friends baby shower- they couldn’t have been more accommodating and the service was great which I know isn’t always easy with a big table. Many thanks in particular to Ryan for helping us sort it :)
C. B.
Diya was a fabulous host really attentive!!
D. L.
Nice place for a drink, clean and the cocktails are 👌
C. B.
Best church pub I've been in
W. T.
Very nice restaurant. The best church for every Sunday ;)
M. p.
Millie was lovely and looked after us well!!
T. M.
Danni was brilliant. Food was delicious. Great service.
r. d.
It's great to see a church used for something useful, instead of the 'praise jeebers' nonsense they're usually used for, where a dubious be-frocked bloke tells made-up stories about his invisible pretend friend while eyeing-up your kids.
However, as a pub it's as duff as every other pitcher and piano with student standard service and poorly maintained lines. We had to return 2 out of 4 pints. There are far better pubs nearby.
Worth popping in to laugh at the sick futility of organised religion and its iconography.
D. L.
Converted church looks amazing!
S. K.
Enjoyable meal superb venue.
S. S.
Wow. Is this a really coooool place or what? I will visit this place everytime I visit my brother in Nottingham.
J. I. G.
Love this place. Open and so lovely building with a fabulous beer garden in warmer months. It's a fantastic grand building.
A. R.
Really good service from Abi, very knowledgeable about the menu.
R. B.
Great place to go for a few drinks. Beautiful interior Music. Music can sometimes be a bit loud if you are trying to have a decent conversation.
H. A.
Lovely setting, really nice place for a date or a few drinks with friends. Wide range of cocktails and drinks.
D. W.
It's a lovely building but very pricey
M. B.
What a fantastic venue for a public house, brilliant.
A. W.
Stunning place. Service was great
H. V.
Will was fabulous, lovely service and really made the day for us. 10/10
P. S.
Great bar and staff. Really interesting place to sit and have a drink in
G. H.
Amazing venue, although you feel kind of guilty having a beer with the lads in a church.
S. G.
Fantastic bar inside a converted church. Always busy, but that usually means it is slow to be served. Well worth the wait though.
A. L.
The windows are outstanding and the staff are very friendly 👌
B. M.
Love this place; great ambiance!
C. R. D.
This place is just fantastic. It's a beautiful old church turned into a restaurant & bar. I had one of my now favourite vegetarian burgers of all time: fried halloumi with harissa mayo. I went back for it at least 3 times. Plus, you get little discount coupons every time you go. You will be ID'd at night though.
l. M.
Always a winner when I visit Nottingham, love the surroundings in this pub. Very busy with food & drink but service wasn't slow & managed to get a seat too.
r.
What a fantastic building to have a drink in . However, poor choice of beers, overpriced and too much on the control front with security staff bossing you about constantly. Also took us an age to get served.
J. E.
Excellent a really nice place to sit and relax and have a lovely glass of red wine
V. R.
Well done! Nice stuff and amazing food
E. P.
Loved the atmosphere and the food was great.
J. F.
Good food and atmosphere but small portions. Venue makes up to it
T. R.
Wow! Amazing use of an old church, brilliant, definitely worth a visit.
J. M.
The place is lovely. A pub in a church!!! Although the prices are high, they are still reasonable. The problem is the service: it takes for ever to order and the waiters and waitresses are not usually nice.
A. S.
Seating arrangements a bit awkward if you just want a drink.....
B.
I love this place, they have managed to be open in this current climate and not lowered their excellent service, drinks food and atmosphere.
J. G.
It's exactly what you would expect, decent prices and decent food. The real star is the building, it has been shown due respect in the conversion from a church.
M. D.
Beautiful scenery inside an old church, not the cheapest but great service.
A. L.
Just visited Pitcher & Piano's reopening day. Wow! Superb food. Very tasty. Great Vegan options available. Not somewhere I would naturally think about for food. Now somewhere that I like to go to again. Large range of fantastic cocktails and other drinks. Excellent customer service.
C. C.
Lovely place, often go here for work gatherings. A little pricey for food and drinks however the food here is really nice
A. M.
amazing place. an ex church that become a bar. you can have a cocktail in a church and nobody will judge you!!:-)
M. G.
The bar/restaurant is such a gorgeous building! It really shows off the heritage of its previous life being a chruch. We sat under the old spire and couldn't help but admire the beauty of the place. The food we had was really tasty and there's a really good range of drinks too. It's a little pricey, but it reflects the good service and delicious tastes.
P. A. G.
Great place for some good drinks in a great location
D. G.
Lucy was excellent - 11/10 would recommend
S. J.
Very calm and cosy pub...a must go if in Nottingham.
Η. Χ.
The one and only Pitcher and piano bar operating in an outstanding, breathtaking beautiful church! Don't miss it!
M.
Excellent service from Angel. Didn’t need to ask xx
B. S.
It's magnificent from inside. The idea of a pub inside a cathedral is an experience in itself.
R.
Nice place, very unusual to be in pub within church.
M. M.
Wonderful architecture and good food.
C. W.
Lovely building, good food, friendly staff
N. E.
Amazing venue with staff working hard and getting everyone served even tho it was super busy
I. M.
Lovely place to go for a drink, and incredibly well set up during the current social distancing guidelines. Drink ordering/delivery was easy and stress free, and compulsory sanitation on entering made it feel much more comfortable.
A. B.
Really good service & the staff were very attentive
C. I.
The meal was first class, so was the service. Be warned though if you have steak you have to order your sides, which means you only get a steak on your plate, then have to order your chips and whatever else you want. Apart from that it was so nice to not have all the fuss that goes on everywhere. The waiter was so attentive without it being obtrusive.
M. C.
Very quick service, polite and helpful :)
A. T.
The waiter was really nice and patient with us.
L. D.
Friendly staff and lovely outside space. Just had drinks so can't comment on the food but plenty of people were eating and it looked good.
S. B.
Bottomless brunch for 6 of us was great
J. O.
Amazing space and lovely bar staff!
M. J.
To be honest, I was slightly disappointed. The food was ok but simply not enough. We had piri piri chicken and you had a piece of chicken on a plate we a small piece of tomato and a source. The plate looked empty. This was £12 normally ( half price under the government eat out scheme). When seated we were told you had to order your drinks they would be brought to your table. We waited around 15 minutes for the first drink. Too long.
L. S.
This is just a gorgeous venue, always have to stop by for a beverage here when I am in Notts.
R. P.
Friendly staff and nice selection of beers. Food is good, but not anything special.
N. P.
Very interesting! An old Church turned into a beautiful bar restaurant!!! Excellent cocktails !
R. G. W.
Not bad. Awesome idea of an old church transformed in a restaurant
N. B.
Alicia was very helpful and friendly lovely service highly satisfied
B. S.
Angel was an amazing waitress would highly recommend
R. R.
Lovely bar in a church, the interior is beautiful!
R. B.
Food was good but it was let down by the service.
Had to go find someone to take our order.
Had two coffees and Sunday lunch. Food tasted great but the coffees arrived with no teaspoons! I did think that they went a little overboard on the gravy - I had to throw a life jacket to my carrots!
The building is amazing too, come on - don't let yourselves down with poor service!
C. H.
An old church converted into a sophisticated bar. Nice atmosphere. Large venue. Always had a great experience 👍🏾💯🍾
k.
Zoe was great! Fun to chat to!
M. R.
Nice food. Great location.
O. M.
This have been a favourite place of mine since I started drinking!
Incredible venue, such atmosphere here even if it's empty!
The food is fantastic, the Guinness is good and the staff are great.
The bar can get busy in the evenings so get your order in early!
A. L.
Great food, excellence service well priced. Booked for graduation lunch.
A. F.
Lovely venue, but seating a bit cramped
m. f.
Nice food, great location,service lacking.
N. W.
From the time you walk through the door you are met by super friendly staff and an amazing backdrop of stained glass windows. The waiter was friendly. The cocktails and food is second to none. We love visiting Pitvher & Piano in Nottingham. Truley romantic setting ❤
J. C.
Probably one of the coolest bars I've been to in Nottingham. Very accommodating staff with a great selection of drinks and food. Perfect for datenight or an evening with friends.
B. P.
A lovely Sunday roast, this old church has been tastefully refurbished maintaining many of the original features and characteristics, add to this some tasteful background music and you have a perfect atmosphere for a family Sunday lunch. My party of five could not find a fault with their meal served by friendly staff. The bar was stocked with a good selection of ales, craft beers and cocktails and all at reasonable prices. Would recommend the P&P with no hesitation.
R. G.
Stunningly beautiful place, with a great bar that has an impressive selection containing beers, ciders, whiskey, Gins and cocktails.
The food was very good and served quickly with nice friendly staff. I'd heartily recommend the bacon and blue burger.
To top it off whilst we where in here eating at 2 in the afternoon a guy set up his guitar and set about playing a great session causing us to stay once we'd finished eating to drink and listen.
A wonderful afternoon with no downsides
T. J.
Tapas and wine for £23.50. Great starting point or for a catch up. Lively atmosphere even early on a Friday night.
Based in a beautiful old church building.
Is so large it can lack atmosphere if you go on a quieter day.
C. B.
Very good, very quick service and very amiable and accomodating.
T. R.
Great meal and great service! Thank you!
K. W.
Amazing cocktails and lovely venue
C. B.
Well it was a Church, it's good the building is not lost, but churches used as pubs I personally have an uneasy feeling about. It's purely a personal thing. Nothing against those that like it. I had too meet with friends there. It's a very nice place. ..if yer like that kinda thing.
C. M.
Posh, nice, a bit expensive but beautiful
a. s.
amazing service by a beautiful lady called jess
4.
Big open floors with a central bar. Lots of seating areas. Lovely interior to the pub being a church previously kept a lot of the stained glass windows. Staff are very friendly and helpful, food is good and various drinks available.
T. D.
Popped in for lunch. Service a little slow and disorganised really. However, once the member of staff (North American accent) had chance to come over to me, service was great. Unfortunately, he seemed to be having to do the work of other staff members. Food, once ordered, came fairly quickly and was surprisingly good. Really tasty, well made Tandoori Chicken Wrap. And a delicious fruity sundae for desert. Happy customer.
J. A.
Nice, cosy place. Coctails looking good but below average on taste.
J. R.
Gets my vote, lovely place, nice selection of food and drink, day or night. Chilled late bar too with music. I'll be back!
S. K.
Perfect place to relax ,very quiet in day time
K. B.
I love the atmosphere of this bar. I travel weekly from city to city, and I rarely go to the same place twice, but I really loved this place. It has classic pub food and some great healthy options too. Offers some vegetarian and gluten free options as well. Happy hour house cocktails are £5. My group tried most of them and we found them all to be tasty and inspired. The only downside is that the service is a little slow, probably because it is just very spread out.
One more thing: they do a great job with live music. The natural acoustics of the church with just a little bit of reinforcement gives it a great level to enjoy the music without overpowering conversation.
G. K.
Nice atmosphere, but only standing room for people visiting for a drink.
S. L.
A great place for a catch up with friends or a quick midday meal. A converted church with high vaulted ceilings and stained glass windows. Plenty of tables but can get really busy at peak times. The staff have always been efficient and friendly whenever I've been there. The only downside is that it's quite a walk upstairs to the gents.
M. C.
Colourful. Has atmosphere. Food menu bit limited at the minute, but cocktails seemed popular!
S. J.
Without doubt the most amazing bar in Nottingham. If only the staff were more happy and able to fill a pint to the top…
n. n.
Great atmosphere! Converted church. But looks fabulous...lots of character inside...lots of original features kept like stained glass windows. Still looks like a church from the outside. Went on a hen weekend. Great range of drinks. I had gin...lots of choice...reasonable price. Would definitely visit again if I was in Nottingham.
P. R.
Visited during Christmas break. Beautiful converted church but very cold which was to be expected due to this being a converted church. Only 2 serving behind the bar and as people were ordering cocktails it was a long wait to be served. That said we ordered food which we didn't have to wait long for at all. We ordered rib eye steak which was cooked perfectly and couldn't be faulted at all so would highly recommend.
C. S.
Lovely inside & outside. Loved the stain glass windows & they have kept all the original features of the church. Toilets were lovely & clean & very quirky.
L. L.
A beautiful setting for a few cocktails on a Saturday afternoon. Loved looking around this old church with stained glass windows still in place. Only stopped for drinks but had lovely service from Sophie, Leah & Luke.
Thank you
M. J.
Great staff, great food, reasonable prices. Perfect venue for a wonderful meal
C. W.
Aesthetically, this is one of the most amazing bars I've been to. A former church, they have used the space well and kept everything they needed to.
Stained glass windows, spiral stairs, I was really impressed. Great place to end the night of visiting the area
A. R. V.
If I returned to Nottingham I would not hesitate to return. The food was delicious, the treatment of the employees was very good, we had a small problem with the food of one of my friends but the chef himself came out to give us a solution. There was good atmosphere and music. So I recommend it 100%.
L. S.
Menu was limited and wasn't much on it l liked. Unfortunately our order was mixed up, so we had to wait longer for the food but we were offered a starter on the house. Thank you.
j. A.
At least two of the four stars I've given this bar come from the architecture of this place alone. It must have been a truly beautiful church back in it's former life, for it makes a beautiful bar now. It's even got some fine gardens to enjoy as well. It still has a lot of the classic P&P issues - bad beer at good prices, ok food at good prices, and an air of cheapness that makes one feel a bit snobbish. But it's worth visiting at least once.
M. R.
The waitress was very good
E. W.
Had very nice lunch and drinks with friends. All really enjoyed the occasion and service, as always, was excellent.

Fantastic conversion to a very trendy bar and cocktail venue. You have to go if you haven't been. Quirky modern sheltered outdoor area. Bit pricey but great venue and we like to take visiting friends to impress them!
