J. S.Went here for sunday lunch. We thought we would come as we knew it had been taken over and were now doing food. Staff were very friendly and attentive. We had the beef and every thing tasted home cooked, even the mash potato tasted as if it was proper mash. The place has even had a lick of paint brightens it up no end. Looking forward to many more visits.
M. M.Good pub. Came for a Sunday roast and would definitely come again. Good portions for the price and a great gravy.

d. k.Popped in this lovely little village pub and was overwhelmed on how all our needs were met. Lovely young couple running the place and couldn't be more helpful and accommodating. Food was excellent but unfortunately no room for dessert as portion size was huge . Will defo be going back

M. B.We held a Wake here yesterday. Shaun the landlord was very helpful and accommodating. The food he organised, hot and cold, was fantastic, lots of attendees commented on the quality of the food. The real ale was kept well, a selection of wines and whisky too. My dad would have loved it. I would definitely recommend the Robin Hood and we will be dropping in more regularly. There is a lovely little courtyard beer garden to the rear and quaint lounges to eat and relax in.
My family received exceptional service from the lovely landlord and landlady. Nothing was to much trouble. Our waitress was attentive but always gave us space, a very nice young lady.
Thank you for letting us being able to give my late father a good send off with some family. You made us feel comfortable and valued customers even during these hard times and restrictions.
Would definitely recommend you to anyone.

J. F.Always visit this pub around Christmas and in the past enjoyed a meal & played pool without restrictions. I am the 4th generation who have done this after visiting family graves .
However it's changed hands and there was no food apart from rolls , the pool table packed away at 3pm and there seemed some animosity against us having our grand children with us whose every move seemed to be under scrutiny.
Shame really, possibly the sign of the times.

I needed the perfect place to hold the wake for my lovely dad who absolutely loved motorbikes.
As soon as I stepped through the doors of the Robin Hood I felt welcome.
Nikki & Dave arranged everything so perfectly, arranged photos, refreshments and an amazing buffet for our family and friends in a warm environment to remember dad.
Nothing was too much trouble, even down to Nikki baking coconut cake for us after i said it was dad's favourite.
We returned today for lunch and were greeted like old friends.
Thank you so much to you all. Your kindness and hospitality at such a difficult time will not be forgotten.

E. C.Myself and a friend went for an evening meal. To be honest it didn't seems to have much atmosphere but we were the youngest people there by about 50 years! The food we ordered they had run out of but the alternative option was good pub grub. About half way through the meal I started to feel a bit chilly, my friend felt the same and we ended up leaving and heading to the Lambley to have a coffee and warm up. Not sure I'd recommend it to anyone under 60 but the price of the food for what you got was very impressive!
