Update April 2022. I am assuming there is a new manager as plenty of beer choice in stock. Food menu has been updated again with more choices predominantly chicken but for me this a good thing. Pound for pound still best value even if prices are rising. Staff friendly and very helpful. Decor could do with updating and a refresh maybe in order. Update Feb 22. Needs updating looking a bit drab and had ran out of most of the premium lagers that I drink. Had an issue with my drinks order which the manager could have handled in seconds but patronised me and eventually after a lot of debate was sorted but had ruined my night out with the family. Previously I wouldn't have thought twice about going here but the food prices are now getting to the point where they are no longer a cheap option. Bingham has plenty of take out restaurants for food and supermarkets to get cheap beer from, so staying at home maybe a better option from now on.

Food was OK, hot and what you might expect from a weatherspoon's but I was given cutlery that hadn't been washed properly you could see the dryed on food, but the staff did change it when asked (for ones that were not much better). They need more than a packed dishwasher especially when dryed on 😉

Pleasant enough. Clean. Friendly staff. Decent prices. Had the mixed grill and a pizza. Both tasty and can't grumble for the value. It's a Spoons so if you're familiar then I reckon you'll be absolutely fine here. Lots of interesting reading material on the walls with local history on if you take a few minutes to have a look. Oh and the chips here were tastier than in a few other spoons I've been to. Thumbs up from the wife and me

This is a fairly standard Weatherspoons. Reasonably priced and all you would expect from the menu. Lots of seating and a small beer garden for when the weather is good. Only issue I have had is that when we've been and it's busy (which is actually quite a lot for being in a small town) the tables were not cleaned very well. Service was prompt though and staff were helpful. Lots of families come here to eat with small children so expect noisey kids if you go on weekends.

So impressed and delighted with excellent service. As a vegan, my choices are very limited, and as we arrived after 12pm, the vegetarian breakfast was no longer available, but I explained that, after removing all non-vegan items off the all-day veggie brunch, a vegan is left with chips. Not even beans as they are sadly not vegan here. Not only did they let me have the veggie breakfast with mushrooms, tomatoes and hash browns, they went out of their way to buy vegan beans just for me!! Food was lovely to top it off. Very happy! 5*

Triple chicken combo is wicked, the spice in the wings is a good heat. The buttermilk chicken breast was tender and juicy and the drinks are a good price. How ever the options of availability for other meals were low due to no pizza available and no large curry(on a curry night)

Good food only thing had about half hour wait but to be fair it was half term and an awful day so pub was very busy and we were told that there would be about 20 minutes waiting. It's a pity there isn't more shops or anything around, it was market day but the weather was so bad that the few stalls that were there packed up so early.

Breakfast here is usually OK but recently waited 30 minutes and then my meal came out 10 minutes before the rest of my party. Disappointing experience but decent value so we'll return and hope that someone figures out how to poach an egg by then!

One of the most popular (and definitely the biggest) pubs in Bingham. Always good food, refillable hot drinks and in general nice atmosphere. Place tends to get busy very often but somehow remains very cozy and keeps the family-friendly feel unlike most pubs. In all my visits I never seen place being full of drunks or had a thought that it would not be a nice idea to bring kids in. There are some tables outside in a beer garden as well for those warm days when you just want to enjoy some sun, but keep in mind that those are limited and might get taken very fast on a sunny day.

Wetherspoons pub. Went on a Sunday evening to get something to eat. Busy. Table could have been cleaner. They had run out of one of the meals we ordered and only told this after a ten minute delay. But the service from this point was superb. The alternative meal happened to be more expensive but was provided at the same price. And the waitress was very helpful. Recommended

Had a pizza it was very disappointing, we've had pizza's at lots of weatherspoons and they have been very good but this time both pizzas were undercooked piece of dough with a sloppy mess in the middle there was just one person bringing the food out so we had trouble complaining. coffee machines ran out of milk no one seemed interested in sorting it out eventually gave up and left won't be going back.

Visited here for the first time since moving to Bingham. Lovely building that just seems to go on forever. We sat in a small booth towards the back. Ordered food from their app which accepted Google Pay (no need to tap in card details, etc). Food and drinks were delivered to the table virtually instantly. The food was hot and drinks ice cold - perfect! I would highly recommend The Butter Cross.

The wings were piping hot with a tender delicious crisp flavour. Only bad thing is I asked for a medium for my steak to be cooked they gave me rare plus it was fatty and the chips were quite cold but wasn't actually served in a basket or ramekin theywere crunchy until the blood from my steak caught the chips which led to my chips being bloody as well.

This is just a note about the irony if he is your cleaners. (the starts mean nothing). As I waited for the bus this morning I watched a guy walk across the market square eating. Then as he banged on your door to be let in your premises 6am, he threw all his rubbish on the floor our side you door and into the path. In a couple of hours children will be walking to school. Why should they walk through others rubbish? And it make me wonder how clean is the pub? Very disrespectful. Show him what a bin is?
