E. Z.Lovely narrow bar. The outside feature is brilliant with flowers around, sheltered from the rain and have heating lamps on each table if you feeling a bit chilly.
Selection is wide and have a few range of single malt whisky but at a price, 35ml though....
V. M.In Nottingham for a gig. Tried The Dragon. Absolute gem. What I call a 'proper pub'. We tried the Guinnes and a Twist and Stout from a local brewery. Two excellent pints. Friendly staff and good atmosphere. Pop in if you like a good pint! Loved that they have cheese and onion cobs on the bar. If only we hadn't just been for dinner!
A. B.One of the nicest pubs around the Market Square. Really friendly staff, decent range of drinks. It's fairly small, although it does have an outside area at the back for warmer days. Can be busy Friday/Saturday night, but even so we managed to get a table. Just a good, no-frills pub in the city centre, which is quite a rare fine. Feels safe here too.

This pub remains one of the best in the city, lovely traditional pub, great seating out the rear, inside it's a bit of a narrow pub so long seats against the walls, with stools the other side of each table, up near the bar, but large open area as you walk in the front door - as used to be a coach house... - it's a busy place too, but fast friendly service...

c. s.What a fantastic pub. Popped in here one Saturday night once restrictions had lifted slightly. The staff/Landlady were fantastic, couldn't do enough for you. They had quite a busy night when we went in but we never really had to wait long for drinks. Thought the staff did a great job whilst having to deal with Covid guidelines etc. Would definitely go again. My only problem was we only went in for one or two and ended up staying a very long time ;) Next time please kick us out, might save my headache the next day :)

N. T.Just lovely. Dark and individual interior (who has the cactus fetish?) with laid back but efficient service. Small but quality selection of ales on keg, and prices very reasonable for the city centre. The secluded beer garden a la concrete is as much as you're going to get in the city centre and there's more than one indie album cover to be produced with that scenery.
Great crowd, great beer, reasonable prices and highly individual atmosphere. This is a great city centre boozer than resists the cookie-cutter and embraces a gentle acknowledgement that anything goes. Visit, enjoy, return, repeat.

B. G.I've only recently stumbled across The Dragon, but it's quickly becoming one of my favourite pubs in town. They have a nice range of ales which is becoming a rarity these days, and enough largers, wines, bottles and spirits to keep anyone happy. Great music being played during my last visit, although this is dependent on taste!

N. S.Hidden gem of a pub in Nottingham City Centre. Small pub with a long, split-level interior with a laid-back ambience. Seating is a combination of bar stools and comfortable benches. There is a enclosed beer garden at the back with seating. Also has a race room containing a scalextric race track. Pub has race nights using the track. DJ was there on Thursday night.
