Visited for the first time last week. A lovely little pub full of beautiful historic photos and quirky characteristics, really felt like a step back in time. There are a few tables outside the front of the pub, which is a really nice spot just to chill and drink. Also to add friendly bartender (possibly owner) and great prices, definitely worth a visit!

Classic pub in Canning Circus - small and cozy with a well stocked bar and nice selection of beers. Burgers served on Saturday, but I came for the Sunday Roast and a pint of real ale - both were great. Staff is friendly and helpful and the atmosphere was superb.

First time back at The Falcon since lock down. Brilliant little boozer with a warm welcome and a friendly staff. The landlord even dried off the outside seats for us after a sudden shower - brilliant ! Good selection of beers, ciders (including lilley's mango when we were there!), lagers and spirits. Cosy 'traditional' interior with fabulous photos of Canning Circus in years gone by - we are always amazed by these pictures.... Real fires in the winter too. Give it a go, it's a proper pub for proper folk!

Laid back pub. Has a good selection of craft beers. Main bar has a traditional open fire. Has a snug downstairs and room upstairs. Friendly bar staff and nice atmosphere.

Great pub, traditional type of place serving excellent real ales, decent food, Sunday roasts etc. The owner clearly takes pride in the quality of the beer and was very knowledgeable.

Small room local boozer of the sort of which is disappearing. Small selection of always good beer Titanic Porter and Cira seem to be always on. A rotating cast of friendly regulars add to the proper pub feeling that many real and craft beer bars have lost. Very good Sunday lunches, lamb shank is a speciality but if belly pork roast is on have that it's restaurant class.

Another one of Nottinghamshire best pubs. Good beer and convivial. Very friendly company. A number of good pubs in the Canning Circus area but this is my favourite.

A quaint English style pub in the metropolis, serving up to 6 cask no keg .no garden but an outside ' street ' smoking area , beers are kept to a reasonable quality, normally serving shiny welbeck Abbey abbeydale and oakham coupled with a decent and well priced porter from titanic .cheers
