Y.Not usually a fan of Pub grub establishments but this one is OK and quite enjoy popping in for a few pints, catch up with old friends and maybe watch some sports, nice mix of customers and ample outside seating areas and plenty of parking, friends say the meals are pretty good value, so all round its a good family Pub

R. T.Great landlords, friendly staff. Sunday roasts always nice and plentiful. Follows strict Covid rules, hand sanitizer, social distancing track and trace.
Other pubs in the area are a little to relaxed about Covid and several have had staff and or customers testing positive for Covid and had to be closed down for a while.

C. W.Went for Sunday carvery here 2 days ago and was not disappointed. Food was all freshly prepared with lots to choose from and the meat was cooked to perfection. Staff extremely helpful, polite and nothing was too much trouble, easily worth 5 stars and would highly recommend.

s. h.Sunday carvery, simple plain well cooked and well executed. One of the best priced locally. No need to load your plate to get your money's worth but are welcome to help yourself to as much as you like. On the whole the staff are welcoming efficient and homely.

Shows sporting events on BT Sport / Sky Sports and has numerous TV and projector. Can be popular at busy times, reserving a table to eat recommend. Friendly staff.
C. B.We have been going to the fox for a couple of years now .. its not our local but was passing it on route .. decided to stop , and became regulars .. WHY ? Because the staff run a great pub and clearly work together as a team .. the cleanliness is spot on and you never see mess on floor etc unlike alot of places.. that fail to wipe tables after one set of people have left but just take the dirty pots ..Why????.. and that alone puts me of my food... i not one for writing reviews normally but credit where credit is due .. so if you want a friendly atmosphere and good service and top cleanliness which is a biggy for me . i would recommend .

W.Good food and lovely staff but you guys need to clamp down on antisocial behaviour from some of your patrons imo. I felt sorry for the barwoman subjected to abuse and a torrent of foul language in front of a pub full of children and my five year old niece. This was during the Sunday afternoon carvery service.
