Great selection of 5 cask ales, all in perfect condition. Just the Job! Loved it.

Only my 4th visit to this pub, and it is an excellent "proper" pub, which is nicely off the beaten track - lovely chilled atmosphere from lounge side, bar side (pool and darts in here) and a nice pub garden. Also have a book swap thing going on, so managed to pick up a fantastic book (didn't have one to swap, made a donation to charidee instead) while having a lovely drink with friends (last visit)

Great pub, no nonsense, good beer good snacks, dog friendly. And a good quiz on a Thursday night.

Great pub, amazing staff and the best beer options in town!

Beautiful pub with a very cozy beer garden. Serve the best pint of Guinness I have had in years. Staff are very friendly as are the locals that regular the pub.

One of the last real local pubs left - good ale, good people, good times. What more do you need?

Great local pub, traditional style.

We loved this place when it was our local and it's testimony to how good it still is that we made an 18-mile round trip to "drop in". Excellent beer, a friendly welcome and great service. The garden is a treat as always with award-winning flower arrangements and the Covid arrangements are spot on. Thoroughly recommend to fans of a traditional, well run pub

Due to Covid we sat outside in the beer garden. Not a very picturesque space being fully enclosed by brick walls, but felt very cosy with beautiful flower baskets hanging on every cream painted wall and a beautiful clematis clinging to its frame on another. Many visitors at the time obviously enjoying being out and having a pint! Passed through the pub on the way in/out, felt very traditional with lots of brown furniture and red velvet furnishings. Very much a traditional pub and obviously well kept and popular with the locals.
