Wheelchair Accessible: No Food Quality: Good Service: Excellent Atmosphere: Good Hygiene: Okay A lovely pub located right next to Nottingham Trent University's city campus. For anyone that doesn't know, Spoons is a chain pub that serves food and beverages, both alchoholic and non alchoholic. They also have vegitarian options to the non-meat eaters. This branch is mainly visited by students and is quite a busy one, especially during nights

Walked from The Roebuck- only about 15 minutes. Smart exterior, especially with the plants and hanging baskets. Very quiet, possibly due to the lack of students who usually reside here. Not many ales on tap so I settled for a bottle of Devil's Backbone. If I return to the city, I'll go back to The Roebuck first and go from there.

Second best Wetherspoons in the city after the Roebuck. A student hive so can get very busy. Slightly outside the centre and I didn't know it existed until a few years ago. Nice layout with a decent outside area. Can have a lack of cask ales, which for a Wetherspoons is highly unusual.

Pop in today with girlfriends for fast lunch. It was was very busy, but we managed to find a table. We used the mobile app to order and pay for our order. Despite the busy hours, we were served in no time. Personally, I'm not a big fan of fish and chips, but oh dear I really enjoyed this one, and I'm more than sure I will be coming back soon 👍

It's a Spoons that is very close to the Premier Inn and Rock City. Decent food (it's Spoons) and cheap drinks (it's Spoons), but fairly unclean (we sat down at a table and my chair had a chewed lime wedge and a chip on it)

Welcomed at 9:30am with question do you have ID? Seems everybody at that time looks like student who is going to drink. I just came for non-alcoholic breakfast. Overal the restaurant/pub is very big. I cannot imagine to go there in peak time. Breakfast deal was nice - tradtional english with unlimited drink.

Visited on a Friday night. Very busy, with lots of students, but service was quick, efficient and friendly. We were lucky enough to get a table but a few people who came in after us weren't able to find anywhere to sit. We ordered food and it came quickly, was hot and the standard you expect from a 'Spoons. Whilst the place was very busy and lively it wasn't too noisy. We are not local so unlikely to revisit but would do if we lived nearer.

Food tasted great and was at the table in less than 15 minutes.

Never have a problem with this place, I have visited this place on a number of different occasions and some of the orders that I order often come wrong elsewhere but here I know it is good and never have an issue. Came here for breakfast and dinner on different occasions, such good value for what you get and tasty food. You do not have to wait long at all for what you order and you can see it being made if you sit in the right place. Nice views from some of the seats and has a nice fireplace which is always on in the winter which is nice, warm and cosy. Has outside seating areas if you wanted to eat outside and has an onsite car park with parking outside the pub as well which is done on a meter. Great selection on food and meals for all the family

Food and drinks were nice although accidently put chips instead of salad on one of the meals and wen she came back wiv salad she asked to slide the chips off the plate whilst trying to hold everything else in place from sliding off too, seems strange thing to do seeing most places apologise for mistake and either leave the chips or take back to kitchen to sort it out. Also seem to forgot 1 of the group's meal even though all ordered same time so had to ask. Other than that was all good. Prices very reasonable for drinks and food.

Cheap and cheerful! Cheap alcohol and a rather large selection of it, interior is a bit dated. Normally full of uni students as its the closest pub to the SU resulting in it often being hard to find a table for more than two people. In addition at peak times service can also be quite slow.

Why can places like this draw in a full bar of customers? It may be that the drinks are very reasonable. It may be that the choice of keg beer, the choice of several ciders, the choice of numerous gins, whisky, rum etc are second to none. The food may not be Michelin star but it is tasty a good choice and very reasonable for all pockets. Staff are hard working and very helpful. I will ask my question again. No I won't. I will leave it to you.

BEWARE OF OVERSTAYING IN THE CAR PARK!!!!!!! Chose pub due to having a car park in city centre with accessible parking for disabled driver. Family member paid parking charge for 2 hours. Waited for food as pub was really busy on a Saturday afternoon and returned to car 20 mins late. 3 days later issued with a £75 parking charge. Went back to tell manager who informed Euro car parks who said “ you were late so pay the fine”. Rang Wetherspoons customer services who said same although parking charges are at Managers discretion. Paid the fine as if we leave any longer than 14 days fine goes up. Could have parked on the road for free for 3 hours with a disabled badge so absolutely gutted! Other than that food was good and staff were friendly. JUST BE AWARE OF THE CAR PARK!

Standard Wetherspoons, quite a small seating area so if it's a busy day you may not be able to be seated straight away, car park is hard to maneuver on as well if it's busy. The food was average, not the best wetherspoons I've been too.

Best Wetherspoons in Nottingham, even if not the most central. Cheap to for the Curry club and Steak Club nights. Spotlessly clean. If your staying at the Premier Inn across the way in Goldsmith Street... Why waste your money on breakfast there, pop over to this pub and eat there for less than half the cost! Recommended!
