S. L.Visited today for an impromptu lunch with my husband and stepson.
The food did take quite a while to arrive but when it did arrive it was beautiful. Very tasty and very hot.
The staff were lovely and worked hard.
I had the Stilton mushrooms starter as my main, my husband ordered the stargazy fish pie which was really nice. Very tasty. My stepson ordered the hunters chicken and he said that the chicken was lovely and not at all dry.
I would come again.

c. h.Nice local pub we visit for classic car meets. Have had drinks there which were fine. Breakfast sausage sandwich was pretty below average though. The cheeseburgers from the burger van out back in the field are better!
J. J.I'm moving to the area soon and decided to check out what will be our local, and I loved it! Really lovely cosy feel with a great community atmosphere. I had Sunday roast pork belly with all the trimmings and it was delish. The staff are really lovely and considerate too. We'll definately be making this our local!

From first day of booking until the reception was over the staff were fantastic the venue was perfect the food was just delicious. Thank you to you all for making our day as special as it was and thank you to the kitchen staff for all your hard work it truly was a pleasure . We will be happily returning for many nights out with you guys
C. A. C.I went with my husband and our friends to the "classic car night" and we really enjoyed it here...... We had a couple of sharing platters and there was plenty to eat...... I have only given 4 stars because it was my first time here, but planning on going again soon, so if all's ok it could end up being 5stars.
