Nice old pub ,in the heart of Stabbo

Only went in one night but this is my honest opinion. They have 8 beers on tap consisting of both larger and cider and a very limiting choice in the fridge. No ales whatsoever other than a bottled newcastle brown which was slightly disappointing. Average selection on spirits. Few soft drink options. The pub has a friendly atmosphere which is aided by both a lit fire in the winter times and a nice lighting setting. Staff are friendly and approachable. At quiet times it can be very quiet (3 people at the most quiet point on a typical Tuesday night). Music is through speakers with, in my opinion, a good selection of songs. Dart board and pool table are available for use. Overall, a fairly average pub with a few disappointments but a consistently good service.

Hi, this is a great family pub.tou can take your kids it's also good for the atmosphere. Darts and pool are still popular, the pub does rub it's own teams if that's what your after. They do have a garden during the summer months and do accept party bookings. All in all a nice typical British pub.

Friendly proper pub. If you want to have a pint in a pub that hasn't been gutted and turned into a 'gastro pub' I'd recommend this place. Friendly staff, good prices and a proper pub atmosphere.

This is a pubs pub, a straightforward boozer, allows your dog, a buzzy place with laughter and song on a weekend evening when I last went. Quick to support community events like the remembrance beacon in this photograph.

Nice while some pub however there’s one problem, there’s some anti social behaviour that goes around the pub due to out of town people that might damage property or could cause discomfort for people passing by however the pub itself is lovely and it’s really wholesome place.
