J.Watched the 2022 play off final here. It was definitely the next best place to be if you couldn't get to Wembley.
a. c.The food was fantastic, the place needs a refurbishment as it's looking a bit dated and worn, the booths have small tv's in the wall, so you can watch whatever they have playing, a nice little touch.

H. M.Great for watching sport, however they must have a tie up with Sky, as both F.A. Cup games were on a few TVs and just analysis from Sky on big screen. After seating us in front of the big screen. Bar staff also need to top up pints, far too many pints with frothy head, and below pint measure. Soon adds up at £5 per pint

S. L.Perfect bar for students who are looking for an affordable meal with great drinks. Came in on a Saturday and was able to get a table almost straight away despite it being busy.
Atmosphere was lively and bar staff were ever so friendly and helpful at providing a high quality and fast service.
Was able to get 40% off with my student card and 2-4-1 on cocktails too, which was a bonus.

Down side - the general music level was far too loud, we were sat right under a speaker, and the food was poor - my burger was almost cremated and the chips were cold, and hardly and gluten free choices.

R. B.Went to see Billy Joel Tribute show. The staff were very friendly, attentive and constantly checking you were getting service in drinks and meal. The atmosphere felt safe and exciting with everyone having a great time. Highly recommend.
J. W.Visited Southbank on a few occasions. The happy hour deals are decent but their standard prices are pretty expensive especially Magners. There are a couple of members of staff who have attitude problems and make you feel unwelcome. Good for watching sports though.

I wouldn't mind so much but they've only got themselves to talk about and i find them boring. That sitting area needs extending and partitioning. Self indulgent loud mouths one side, and casual talkers the other. No one excluded, just categorised for their own awareness 😂 only messing. Kind of. Love the place.

S. S.Love this pub. The artists that they have on are brilliant too! When we went they had 3 men and a box playing, 2 guys with guitars and one sat on a drum box, they were fantastic! Good service at the bar and it's a nice pub. It's a bit dark but it all adds to the atmosphere, which is always full of positive vibes and smiles! Found on Friar Lane in a beautiful building, so it's a very popular watering hole!

Food was decent, but we had a booth reserved and the waitress we had was super friendly (and genuine) and attentive so we were very glad we chose to go here. Great atmosphere for the footy too and big screen, along with the booth screens and big screen tvs dotted all around.

Great place to come. Full of TVs for sport. £2.45 for a pint of pale ale! £2.45! How good is that price!!! Nachos and burger were amazing and lots of it! Wish I lived up here for places like this. If you’re in Nottingham and like sport/beer/pub food, come here! 100% recommend!

O. M.Really smart place. Visited on a Friday night and Saturday morning, impressed both times. Friday night was real busy but still got served quickly, Saturday was quiet and of course served rapid.
Breakfast menu is mega, my American breakfast 🍳 was great, pancakes and bacon and sausage. We had a couple of the breakfast baps too and they are awesome value for money, really packed with bacon, nice bacon too.
Layout is cool, a few booths with 6-10 seats, private TV screens on them, screens around the bar anyway but good for your group.
Loads of seating in the main area and pool and a massive projector screen.
Really smart industrial 🏭 decor checkmate in the toilets the whole place is bang tidy.

J.Came to watch Chelsea vs Bayren Munich, I'm a Chelsea fan and it's not going well but we come here a lot. The staff were playing with cocktails and gave me and the girlfriend a free cocktail each..... Amazing! After checking about her nut allergy they weren't sure (2 cocktails for me!) But they felt bad so they brought her a nut free one! Unreal service!

S. A. B.Located just on maid marion way just off the market square. Large dance floor and stage for band and arttistes. Leads of draught beers . Selection of gins and cocktails served. Good ladies toilets plenty of seating around the dance floor and booths and tables. DJ was really good playing dance stuff for all ages. Wasn't too loud . Brilliant night. Two minutes walk to the square for buses trams and taxis home.
