H. A.Been coming here for many years now and is not lost its touch, great atmosphere and great bar staff. I've just had a Christmas dinner here and I think it might be even better than last year. The best Christmas dinner in Nottingham.

S. B.Decent pint of Landlord and Harvest Pale. Pretty drab inside but has a few little rooms for you to chill. Decent location right next to the theatre but nothing special.

A. B.Loved The Stage!! The staff were friendly and attentative. When drinks were getting low, they were quick to see if you wanted another.
They don't require you to book a table in advance, and there was no queue when we arrived.
The place was busy, but not overly busy as there was always tables free.
This is one of my regular drop-ins when on a night out, and this was the first time since they were allowed to serve again indoors (they have no outdoor seating), so it was great to see them open again.
Definitely worth a visit, even if one of your first pubs on your night out.

I loved the atmosphere this place has, very friendly and lively.
Has a disco area and played a wide range of music from all decades.
Bar has a good range of drinks including a selection of cocktails and hand pumped beers.
The only snag is the toilets are down a number of stairs so awkward for those less able.
Someone outside the pub required medical attention when I was there and straight away the doorman was on hand and helping.
Definitely will go back again.

S. C.Fairly busy. Looked round searching for friends and were approached by staff asking if we were looking for a table. We said we were ok and would get a drink while we waited. I was asked if I wanted any specific red wine and was given the glass of water that I requested. I was asked if I would like to have ice in it. Everyone seemed friendly and helpful

Perfect for a swift half before a performance or on your way home from town and situated between the Old Market Square and the Trent University.

N. J.Friday 21st was really busy, then empty, then 4 deep at the bar then empty again. The bar staff didn't seem to have system for dealing with people in order. Two blokes at the far end of the bar, were nearly climbing over to grab the barman as he walked passed them again and again.
