P. O.Fantastic service from Amy and all the staff. Called in with a group of female friends and the staff did everything possible to make sure they enjoyed themselves and felt safe. Couldn't have asked to be in a nicer place. Greene King this pub is a wonderful example of what service should be. Please pass on my thanks
C. M.Loved our evening at the Three Ponds. I honestly haven't experienced such amazing customer service for a long time! Great food and nice setting but what really made the difference was the staff. Manager (I think Amy?) went above and beyond to ensure we had a great evening, even looking out for the safety of our group and being so accommodating. Would definitely recommend to anyone, thanks all!
c. b.Visited here whilst driving back to Essex from the Lake District as we needed a dog friendly pub to have lunch in. What a great place. They have a nice dog room and a paws menu. We ordered the sausages at £1 each and chicken fillet also £1. Fantastic value and the dogs absolutely loved their lunch. The human food was great too! A staff member even suggested a footpath for the dogs to stretch their paws before continuing our journey. If I lived in the area I would go here all the time.
A. S.Just had a birthday meal for 16 people, a big shout out to the staff, food was excellent. It's been a long time since we went to the Three Ponds but overall it's quite impressive, we'll definitely return in the summer when we can sit outside in the garden area. Thank you again to the bar staff who looked after us.

C.Local pub to me great outside space for nice summer days to have a drink, but i would avoid the food last 2 times we went food wasn’t great lots off the menu and not very nice sunday roasts not very often i have a roast but thought id give it a go, however i was left dissapointed with very soggy over cooked veg and pretty bland flavours, aswell as part of the meal missing.
Also one of the women staff looked like you couldn’t be arsed to so the simple of tasks.
The main Geordie waitress was perfect sorted any issue or help us out etc and was a pleasure. Could do with 10 of her.
All in all quite pleasant for a nice few drinks but food is really lacking.

After 18 months of hardship for all , this is a very good relaxing release from the hell we've all been through.

The place was extremely busy as you'd expect, but the speed of service was still fast.
Whether it was just the drinks, or food, we didn't have to wait long.
The portion sizes were plentiful, so suspect that not many people will be left feeling hungry.
Lots of tables inside and out, although the car park could possibly be a little larger.
Overall though, a friendly and speedy service.
Worth a try.

3. V. M.Stopped off here in July with a group of friends. We spent about 4 hrs here as held our regular meeting. Had lunch and coffees. We are meeting here again because of its lovely food and service. It’s also not far off the M1. If you don’t like service stations then here is perfect. It’s also good as s meeting place as no one tried to rush us away.

B. H.We visited after a recommend from our son. Thoroughly enjoyed the meal. There was no rump steak so we settled for sirloin. A nice gesture would have been to be offered the sirloin for the price of the rump, but I'm nit picking now. We'll certainly be back .
S. B.This place has just been refurbished! It was quite busy with both diner's and people just in for a drink. More choice on the new menu than before and our meals arrived quicker than expected to say how busy it was. I didn't like the high stools/ chairs at some of the tables (ours) but thats just me A lot more tables outside for when it's warm and a play area for kids. There is also a dog friendly seating area inside if you want to take your dog for a pint! Staff friendly....Look for the monkey wall light!

Unfortunately at the minute there menu is very short and there are really not many vegaterian options , The new app and table service is slow , mostly due to understaffing which has been created by the covid restrictions. A place worth supporting as I believe all these problems are just products of new restrictions, laws ect and will no doubt be an excellent place for classic pub grub/ atmosphere with plenty of room and parking!

C. W.Reduced star rating. Food and service good. However, we were rushed into ordering because the chef was going on his break. This was 15:00hrs (3pm). People who arrived after us were not happy and were leaving without ordering. For a place that advertises food all day, this is not good. We like to have a late lunch, so will think twice before going back.

Good effort on the social distancing enforcement with a one way system in palce, table service compulsary and PPE being used however, as with most other places, it was disapointing to see the staff ignoring the one way system

Outside play area for kids is massive. Outside seating area set in nice grounds.
Inside is comfortable and cosy.
Can get busy at times but usually a nice atmosphere excellent drinks sellection including real ales and all at a very good price.

m.It was very nice had a lovely interior ,all staff were very friendly and helpful it had a nice outdoor area with a large TV and a nice warming system there is a barn where there is pool air hockey and a large TV .it has a nice park for the littlens to play in and the food quality is phenomenal p.s I highly reccomend the hot chocolate it comes with cream marshmellows and a chocolate straw . keep up the good work very very impressed!!

R. D.The three ponds is a well established local pub. It's quite large, quite friendly and pleasantly decorated in a relaxed style. Not over modern at all. Lots of car parking spaces and a pub garden to the rear. We went for a Christmas lunch which was very good. If the food on other days of the week is to the same standard then you will be ok it was prepared with care. Service was a little slow but they were serving loads of people more or less at once.

A. R.Beer OK. Bottled btrewdog ales available. Neck oil nice but pricey. Pizza meat one with bbq sauce was awful. Small and could not differentiate the meats whilst eating, just a tang of bbq sauce only.
However the current Mrs reeds burger n fries looked OK.

S. A.Main meal (sausage and mash) was a disappointment. Frozen sausages, frozen mash and frozen peas. Nothing homely or special at all. There was 17 of us, but they accepted our booking and the table was ready but it seems the kitchen were not. It took about 20 mins for all our meals to come out so some of us had finished before others even came out, including kids meals. The puddings however were worth going for. The millionaires brownie and the fudge cake are something special.
A. T.Good food and staff are pleasant. It has recently been refurbished and now has laminate floor and curtain less windows, which did make sounds more 'echoey'. This did not diminish our enjoyment.
