The burger van in the car park is really good. Reasonably priced, tasty food, friendly staff. Food could have been a little hotter but the guy was on his own and he did a great job. 👍🏻

Funny how the bad reviews are also on our sister pubs page. All a load of lies hope you got paid well. Everyone is welcome and we do our best to keep all customers happy if the beer made you ill it's probably because your system is more used to badly kept cellars and a fresh clean pint would upset you. Tap water is freely available although we reserve the right to charge for use of glass and staff time unless you are pregnant or need it for medication, it's a little unfair to expect to enjoy all the facilities and not buy even a half pint.

Nothing especially wrong with this pub, just nothing exceptional - an average place for a pint. Sits beside a busy and mundane road. Prices are about average but it's lacking interior and location take away from this. However, lady at the bar has been very friendly more than once and so make sure to give this a visit despite its flaws.

Great place. A bit quiet, but it is Tuesday. Very friendly staff. Cheap beer for a Londoner. Shame about the £5 min charge for a contactless payment. So, I had two beers!

2 clubs arrived after having a match and we all felt welcomed, allowed to do our games outside as long as other customers didn't mind and a very chilled out place with extremely cheap pints! Rate very highly!

A very relaxed atmosphere, the staff here are very friendly and helpful, the prices here are very affordable, there is also a little outdoor play area for kids with a nice area for adults to sit with there drinks outside too. Plus there is also a pool table and several televisions to watch sport on.

I'm always going to give this old, traditional pub a 5* rating, that's because my wife & I are the new land lord & land lady. We've been here since late may 2014 and the business has grown, and the dynamics of the pub have changed dramatically. The atmosphere is friendly with a diverse culture of many differing customers. I can boast the coldest pint in town due to our revolutionary delivery system. Our food is growing week by week and a new menu is in it's early stages. Our Christmas menu is stunning and an absolute steal! Look forward to seeing you soon. Phil & Tracey.

Went here with my student son and mates. They love it for well kept beers at a good price. Good beer garden, they serve simple fayre on occasions, pie and chips, also a good price.

I love this pub it's tucked put of the way but it's got everything you want .tv for sports fans pool table dart board beer garden and most importantly reasonably priced drinks .it's deceiving from the outside and quite large thanks to an extension on the back .

Absolutely wicked atmosphere on friday nights down there with DJ Gary B (my ode man, lol) plenty of students who practically create a concert audience singing along to the abudance of songs from everyone who takes part in the karaoke.. i would hugely recommend it here on a friday for anybody who fancies some tasty entertainment 😁 can't say anything about saturdays tbh.. i'm not sure what goes on, but friday's the night to get yourselves down for some genuine fun 😁👏🕺
