Not bad to be fair. Good sized Sunday lunch, only thing was my roast potatoes were a bit dry but overall it was tasty. Waiting staff were pleasant and friendly. Thank you

They have just added a new menu and I choose this skewer dish which was amazing. It’s actually a vegan choice ( I am not a vegan I hasten to add) but I loved the idea of it and am glad I had it. Possibly the best vegan dish I have seen. Lovely team too.

Needed a quick lunch stop close by and hadn't been in the Tree Tops for years. Staff were great, smiling and polite, very friendly. Got drinks quickly served and they kept coming over as we chose our food. The food arrived pretty quickly and the portions were good. I chose the steak and Ruddles pie. Looked great from the outside but it was extremely disappointing. Hardly any meat but the gravy was rich and thick. Meat to gravy ratio about 20% meat to 80% gravy. Huntsman chicken was very good and the chicken tortillas on the sizzle plate was also very good. Ordered onion rings as they look great on the menu. Don't be fooled by that. What you actually get is about 6 pieces of pale, beige, frozen excuses for onions rings. Waste of money. One shared starter, three mains, one child's veg sticks and three drinks, £51. Not too expensive but not great value for the quality of generic pub chain 'thaw and cook' ingredients. It will likely be years before I visit again.......many years. One star for the food, two for the staff.

Great service - very quick and fairly priced. Limited allergen menu, so we wouldn't go there to eat, but drinks and kids play park is great for a short family visit. Lots of parking and seating, but definitely book before you go at the weekend, so that you can eat If you want to, as they're fully booked a lot.

Very pleased with the food! We hadn’t eaten in a Greene King for a very long time and we expected average mass produced pub grub. We ordered the Katsu curry and a burger and both were absolutely delicious! The pub looks as if it has had a very recent refit as is immaculate. We will definitely be retuning again.

Very disappointed. Menu so extensive so kitchen can't cope I think. Carrots cooked but bland. Cabbage and cauliflower warmed not cooked. Supposed crispy roasties dry and like boiled with thick skin. Mash good and turkey very good. Please don't choose Eton mess as it isn't. Just messed up. Staff good. Parking good. We should have tried the breakfast menu as that might be better. If a menu looks too good to be true?

I enjoyed the vegan Asian burger and the dairy free Cherry Bakewell and ice cream. The bun was slightly dry and the burger was slightly chewy, although the chips were really tasty. The pub is clean and attractive and the staff are very friendly. The prices are a little too high for the quality of food I received and the drinks are dear, so I gave 4 stars.

Visited for the first time today, for an anniversary lunch. The service was prompt and the food delicious. My husband enthused about his delicious well cooked steak. We will certainly return and can highly recommend.

Went here today about 5pm for a Sunday roast as we had been here before and really enjoyed our meals. My husband ordered the Lamb shank and I ordered loin of pork. The server came back to say that the lamb was sold out so my husband was happy to have the pork. Although the meal was quite well presented , I wouldn’t have called it a roast as there were no roast potatoes and it was also quite a small portion. It consisted of frozen peas and swede, some red cabbage, spoon of mash, a small Yorkshire and some wafer thin pork that looked like packet pork. I asked if there were any roasties or if they had run out and the server just said ‘probably’ but did not offer to check or ask if there was anything else we would like. There was hardly anything on the plate to actually chew and I left feeling hungry. I understand Sunday lunches are very popular and it was quite late in the day but we feel it would have been better to tell us what they had run out of and we would have chosen off the menu instead. Very disappointing

A nice pub with a good ambiance. Came here with a friend for lunch on a Friday. Good menu selection at reasonable prices. Had Rump steak which was tender and nicely cooked. I asked for Medium rare and got medium rare. The fries were a little under cooked for my liking but tasted nice. They were happy to provide a portion of peas in instead of the lettuce stated on the menu. My friend had nicely presented Piri Piri Chicken with rice and pineapple which was spicy HOT! Very hot! It was too hot for him to eat. The friendly staff were happy to change the meal so that was good. My experience was such that I would recommend this pub for a lunch time meal but beware of the Piri Piri!

During half term, the weather was great and we wanted a relaxed place to enjoy a lovely dinner with the family. A place that could accommodate everyone’s needs, and Tree Tops – Pub and Grill was the famous choice for everyone. I hadn’t been to it before myself but as soon as I got there it was clear as to why it was chosen by my family. The outdoor space was specious. The outside tables are set in a way that you don’t feel unsafe because you are too close to another group having their lovely time during this pandemic. The children’s play area was a hit with our 5 year old and ensured she also had the best evening as the grownups enjoyed their drinks and lovely chat. The pub is great looking and setup in a quiet neighbourhood, great foods and amazing service with very warm staff. Totally recommend this pub.

Not been to the Tree Tops since pre COVID, place looks really good, the menu was varied and reasonable in price. Service was excellent and food delicious.

Staff and food lovely problem went in at 12 and already ran out of alot of fish options and lasagne, a bit confusing though when it was dinner time. Menu, not sure if it's changed but not impressed. Used to love when had the triple lamb chops etc. Disappointed today and chicken burger for the price disappointing.

The food was excellent, I had the Seafood Mixed Grill, highly recommended. The let down was some of the younger staff playing around with a small bouncy ball and swearing while young children were dining. Certainly not the usual standard of behaviour from past visits. It's not put me off going back but I will not do so if the behaviour of certain staff members hasn't improved. However the more mature lady who served us was both polite and attentive.

However the service let’s it down staff showed us to our table quickly and order was taken swiftly after this we had to ask for everything, more drinks, tables to be cleared and desert menus and then I had to get up to ask for the bill. All in all it’s okay and wouldn’t stop me going back but needs improvement

More expensive than wetherspoons but everything tastes good. I had the bbq burger and it came with pulled pork or beef and it was so nice, the chips were seasoned nicely. It was about £12 I think. My daughter had a make your own pasta dish and a drink and massive sundae for about a fiver. The brownie sundae on the adults menu has MASSIVE slices of brownie couldn't believe it, was well worth the money. Staff were really friendly too. I'd go again.

The staff were attentive and good service. The usual surroundings, but expected better of thd food. They were sold out of the steak I ordered when we arrived early on a Saturday evening and the alternative I requested to be cooked rare just needed a good vet to get it back on its feet. Not convinced the catering assistant in the kitchen knows how to cook a steak, no chargrill flavour, so a bit of a letdown. Wife had salmon which was not chargrilled but overdone. Should have known better.

Husband & I had Sunday lunch today. My meal was almost cold and the roast potatoes were dry & rubbery. I did ask if the meal could be reheated as apart from the potatoes, it was edible. The waitress was very nice about it & when she returned with the meal it was a brand new meal which was hot & the roasties were delicious. Cannot complain about the way it was handled, the waitress was lovely.

My absolute complements to the chef! The whole restaurant is fantastic from the moment we walked in, we were seated quickly where a waitress immediately took our food and drink orders. We ordered the dipping steak, fish and chips, macaroni and cheese with a soup of the day starter and halloumi fries. The food was excellent and cooked perfectly. It was flavourful and absolutely delicious. I have never had a pub that could cook my steak to perfection before. I will definitely be back.

We had a lunchtime meal for three and had asked for a wheelchair friendly table, this was provided by the friendly and welcoming staff. The service was generally good on this not particularly busy day and everything was prompt. The food itself was not very exciting with most presentation and seasoning being quite bland. The place has been recently refurbished and the surroundings are nice but based on food quality I don't think I would be rushing back. Having said that, I never like to write anywhere off based on one visit so would give it another try.

We stopped off here for lunch on a Saturday after a busy day shopping. I'm glad to say we did. We were warmly welcomed by the staff, who were friendly, attentive and efficient. There was a fair variety of options on the menu including specials. We had the salmon with chips and mac and cheese with garlic bread. I must say the mac and cheese was the best I've tasted for a long while. It was thick and creamy. The other half's salmon was done to perfection. We will most definately be returning here to sample more of the menu .

Lovely pub to visit for some food. Great looking pub, well presented, always clean and tidy too. Visited recently for food and there was an issue with our online booking, but the team just sorted seating out for us anyway, only had to wait 40mins, on a busy Sunday, and there was 11 of us! They'd ran out of steaks but only found out after we'd ordered and been waiting a while, not a problem they sorted us out some alternatives and gave us a discount to cover it. Always impressed with the service here from the staff so highly recommended.

Went for dinner last night and wasn't impressed. The food choices for vegetarians were limited or out of stock. My sister had the roasted veg with halloumi and it was disappointing. There was some a small bit of chicken on my side salad and I'm a vegetarian! Quite expensive for the quality and the draft coke zero tasted strange. It was busy but the service was quite fast. The waitress from Hull was lovely and efficient BUT I wouldn't rush back.

Decent place, been coming here for a while. Feels a little unorganized when it gets busy especially when there is new staff, the quality of service suffers. The food is decent and comes in a reasonable amount of time. The sharer nachos are amazing. Pulled pork. You could eat it to yourself if your hungry enough. Mochas are delicious here too.

Always seems busy when we go if only for a drink .eaten here a few times food good and staff always willing to help. Thing the place could do with a revamp the toilets are always unpleasant to use. Last time we were there broken chairs left about in top bar area they should have had stickers on not to use as some had screws sticking out and broken arm rest someone not noticing this could have hurt themselves.

have eaten here before with no complaints apart from he occasional wonky table , no complaints about the food , service or staff .its always a nice experience. Tonight was a little different as i was feeling very unwell ,while my friend tucked happily into his fish and chips , one bite and i put my fork down on my frajias . My cough was going to get worse and my fractured ribs would suffer. It wasn't the food . It was my bad choices : hint , don eat spicy things when you have raw ribs an muscles in case you cough. It does no help . Our waiting staff gently asked if it was okay ( my friend had already finished and mine was hardly touched . ) I said i was unwell and wanted to leave now . So much credit the member of staff who boxed up my remaining food , saying i may feel better later and and want a bite, and that she would look forward to welcoming us at another time when she hoped i would be feeling better. I ate my late supper , just as nice cold as it was hot and yes thank you lady with the long hair and lovely smile i do feel better and we will be back soon. Many thanks for the kindness of the staff .

Food was good - just thought the service could have been quicker- had to ask to order ice cream for children as they were getting fed up, having eaten their main. Not to sure what to rate this place so will go in the middle as only ever managed to get drinks on the three visits so far even though each time we have tried to get food (seems to be a very popular place and booking required apparently) although on the last visit tables were available we were actually put off by the back of house madness and bickering which overall was a mess that we could see of. After seeing the state of the bar around the side for glass collection which barely had any room for a shot glass never mind a pint glass then to look into the kitchen area where glasses where washed...well it looked more like a pub organised by ermm alcoholics to be fair as looked in utter chaos. Then a member of staff dropped a glass (which was obviously an accident as not something you would do on purpose) another very young member of staff threw a wobbly at the other girl whilst stomping about. Perhaps there was a reason for the breakage and over worked perhaps or needs help on the back of house duties?. Sorry to rant but after seeing the chaos we decided to not eat here as guess the same chaos was also repeated in the kitchen area. I think more staff training required here to hold it together as clearly staff issues with bickering.....no need life's short. Not something customers should see nor staff should put up with as degrades the team and makes it not a nice place to work which in turn effects the actual whole point of the business. Come on pull it together as it does actually look a nice place now it has been modernised but I do think more staff are required and/or better training in organisation where 'fires need putting out' as such in a live fast paced situation where staff are not coping and don't forget the most important thing of a great business is appreciating your team members!!

The pub has a reasonable size car park access is easy from the road Access to to pub is via steps or a ramp It’s table service and gets busy at peak times The interior is clean and tidy and well lit The staff are friendly and service was good The food portions are also good and value for money We had a slight problem with the sides being cold but that was rectified quickly without any problems the rest of the food was hot and tasty and it was busy The bar has a good selections of wine and beer 🍺 So we would recommend it as a nice place to go

The Tree Tops is a large 'countryside' pub in a suburban setting on the outskirts of Nottingham. I first visited this place 35 years ago when it was my local and owned by the Hardy Hanson brewery of Kimberley and - perhaps surprisingly - since then it has hung on to it's original name. It's now run by Greene King and is a fairly typical chain restaurant pub - neither especially good nor bad. It provides a decent value menu but the food is no better than the prices suggest. The range of beers on offer seems limited compared to many similar venues these days. On the plus side there is a big car park, it's on a main bus route and there is at least some room for customers who don't want to eat, out of the way of the dining tables (compare to the Traveller's Rest a couple of miles further out on the same road where that is not the case). Go and you'll probably be happy, but for me unfortunately it will never quite be the same place I remember from the 1980s.

Not bad, had a table for 5 got a table for 6 but only just enough room for 4 🤔 🤔 was told that we couldn't sit on the end of the table because of the party of 4 opposite who never turned up in the 4 hours we were there 🤔🤔, not very accommodating, but were happy enough to take the £94 pound bill ☹️🤔 , but saying that the food wasn't bad wouldn't rush to go back.
