C. S.A great match day pub for Forest games but also a really good place to watch the football when they put the fan park on.
Huge screen and fast service at the outside bars.
O. S.Attended a private party 🥳 just before it opened up after a refurb. The staff were great good service, refurbishment has left the place refreshed. The buffet food that was put on was excellent.

C. T.Excellent owners to offer patrons some time to socialize on Christmas day. Their response to the naysayers is 100% correct: Christmas is not the same for all people. Some people don’t have families and it is a very lonely time for them. Some hospitality employees like to work on Christmas, especially if it’s later hours where they’ve already had their family time and wanna spend time with their friends and make some extra money. Some pubs truly are a “Cheers” atmosphere and they look at each other as family. And also it’s absolute fact that a lot of people do not like their in-laws and don’t get along with their family. This is not about “promoting alcohol” like some idiots have suggested. And this is also quite simple: if they don’t want to go in there they don’t have to.

Y. C.Home cooked food to a very high standard. Quality cuts of meat made into beautiful pies. Old time deserts made with custard! A rare treat these days unfortunately. Polite courteous staff with a large outdoor seated area.

C. F.The Nav, the trent navigation - we love this pub all my family come here. The pre & post drinks venue the prices are spot on for food and drinks. The gaffer here is a top class geezer and more than accommodating for anyone(note to owners give the man a payrise). The staff are great. The layouts spot on.
L. C.Tucked away near the canal. The microbrewed beers are made on the premises. Very tasty, American IPA and Rebel were the two we tried. Staff are great. Lovely garden area in the back. Very clear about covid safety but delivered gently. Gonna be back soon!

A. M.This was our first time here and it was for a friend's 50th birthday party. The pub did a good range of beers and we had a large amount of food laid on for the do with tastes tk suit most palates. There was a good atmosphere in here, both in the party and in the general bar. Parking was not available, but we were able to street park nearby for free.

The onsite (adjacent) brewery is a big draw for someone like myself who enjoys local brews. They have a fine selection to boot!
The general atmosphere of the pub was great. I with a few friends enjoyed two live Rugby matches with a few pints and some very nice food. We have been reliably informed that even when the football is on all types of sports fans are catered for and this is a welcomed bit of news considering the pub is situated right next to Notts County.
I personally found the staff to be polite, chatty and attentive. I would be more than happy to return and equally happy to recommend the pub to others.

I. L.Won a voucher for meal for 2 at steak night on Wednesday's, so booked for wed 3rd Jan not been before so unsure what it was going to be like but it was great. Staff very friendly, and food was fantastic. Will definately be going back. Highly recomended.
S. C.Pub is very nice, decent selection and fair prices, but the burgers are out of this world. There can be 1+ hour waits for food, which may be a drawback for some, but if it's a nice day you can sit outside by the canal and idle away the hour with a nice pint.

P. W.One of the best pubs in Nottingham, which is some complement as the city has many watering holes! Linked to Navigation Brewery , which is located behind the pub and which offers tours, the pub serves their cask ales plus the standard ciders and lagers you find elsewhere. Decent food too though obviously given its location close to the football and cricket grounds, gets really busy pre and post matches. However, they always seem to have plenty of staff on so you seldom have to wait long.
