Three of us went on Easter Saturday for a pub lunch and it could not have been nicer. Two of us had burgers and the other had fish and chips, which was a large portion. The chunky chips were lovely. Overall, the food was excellent quality and great value - it would put more expensive "gastro" pubs to shame. The waitress was friendly and could not have been more helpful and got our orders right, double-checking to make sure. A great outing.

Stayed in Nottingham for 4 nights and ended up eating here twice. 4 adults and 5 kids. Staff were all really friendly. Went on the Saturday and had hunters chicken. Then went back on the Sunday for a roast, with bottomless Yorkshire’s and roast potatoes 😍. We were probably the loud ones as we were drinking and laughing loads, the staff joined in and we were left in the corner to have fun.

A fabulous local pub with friendly staff and a good atmosphere. Food is consistently excellent, best pub food by far. Staff work extremely hard and nothing is too much trouble for them. Team member Caitlin is always smiley and friendly. Dogs are welcomed too which is big bonus. Highly recommend a visit if you are in the area.

Had a lovely meal tonight with friends. 2 mixed grills 1 scampi and chips and 1 Thai curry. All lovely. Good value,as were the drinks. We had the most lovely waitress called Hannah, who showed us to our table, took our drink orders and was so smiley it was contagious. She is an asset to the Willow Tree. We will be back 😊

My wife, son and myself went to the Willow Tree about 6pm on Thursday 12/5/22 Although the bar area was busy we got served straight away.we ordered rump steak, lasagna an a burger between us as well as drinks. The food arrived in good time and was excellent, it was hot, well presented and very tasty. Overall good value for money.

Really good pub. Went for Sunday lunch and were made to feel very welcome by all of the staff. Food was very good, fresh veg and meat and as many roasts, gravy and yorkies as you wanted. Very good beer too. Definitely recommend.

Booked a roast dinner here as we were passing through Nottingham and reviews looked good. I love roast dinners and this was the best roast dinner I’ve eaten out. Bill and I visit the Willow Tree regularly, and we love it. Great quizzes on Wednesdays and Sundays, lovely food, and always a lively atmosphere. Wendy and the staff are pleasant and efficient, and the pub has now also become a good stopping off point from our walks along the local canal - excellent!

I have recently been to the Willow Tree and had a meal with my family, the pub is Covid friendly, great value and lovely food. We were greeted at the door by a friendly member of staff who explained the track and trace system as we hadn't booked a table. Paper menus were provided, a scan code was used to order food and drinks from our table rather than having to order from the bar and the food came out promptly. Overall we received great service from the staff and will be returning soon.

The gent that greeted us on the host stand was lovely, really friendly, explained all the new procedures etc. Food was divine, lamb shank was so tender we didn't need knives! And the Eton mess sundae was to die for. Really enjoyed our visit and we will definitely be back!

Very nice pub, comfortable furniture and a solid food and drinks menu. Sunday roast options are very good! Tasty, filling and good value with extra roast potatoes and yorkshire puddings on request (would definitely recommend the Lamb!) Have come here for a Wednesday quiz too which was good fun. Recently visited The Willow Tree after lockdown. Meet and greet very efficient. Was greeted at the door, had the rules explained well and explained option on ordering either at the bar or on the app. One way system in operation and was shown to our table. Asked to sanitize hands on entry and given track and trace form to complete. Noticed sanitizers around the pub for general use. Ordered our drinks and meals at the bar where there was a screen and was served by very pleasant staff member. Cutlery and sauces were brought to the table followed by our meal. Don't usually visit random pubs that I haven't heard about but today was exception as I was with a group of people. The atmosphere was very homely really comfortable seating. The food was was excellent, arrived to the table in a timely fashion and the check back service was brilliant. I had gammon with chips and the trimmings. The gammon was faultless nicely well done and not too salty unlike other places I've tasted. I would definitely visit willow tree again for food and drinks.

Just had such a great time again at the regular Wednesday night quiz at the Willowtree. Wendy the quizmaster is brilliant and how she coped with us giggling girls is anyone's guess. Had a lovely meal too and Wendy ended the evening by making us all a lovely latte. Great pub, great staff especially Andy too who runs around all shift making sure we are all happy. A lovely local where the landlords go out of their way to entertain us with various events usually so cant wait for Covid restrictions to be lifted so music nights can begin again. Brilliant food, the menu has changed a few times over the last few years and it has certainly improved now. Went today for roast dinner and it was all perfect, cooked nicely and the staff are super friendly. Refills of yorkies and roasties is a nice touch! Prices are reasonable and there's plenty of choice including veggie and vegan alternatives. We all thoroughly enjoyed if and we'll certainly be returning.

Lovely pub / restaurant with a really cosy and friendly atmosphere. We had been walking the dogs locally and was pleasantly surprised to find its extremely dog friendly, even offering free treats and water bowls for our furry friends. I inboxed the page on Facebook to enquire about them and they were really helpful and replied within 5 mins of my messaging. They organised a table for us and it was set up and ready for when we arrived. We had a Sunday dinner and a beef pie each and both were really nice and the free top ups of gravy, potatoes and Yorkshire puddings were a nice touch and gratefully received! The food was good value, around £9-10 for a main meal, and the service was exceptional. We’ll definitely be returning again soon :)

Food was barely average. Mixed grill all over done. Lamb shank was very fatty and mash potato was instant whip. Reheated veg. Just had the most scrumptious Sunday roast you could imagine, with lashings of good quality tender meat and lovely roasties. Went there for a midweek evening meal. Choice of food was good and a £9.99 two course menu was chosen, good value, all day. Food wasn't too long and helpful friendly staff, a nice experience and recommend it to others. Ample parking, not too busy inside and nice surroundings, give it a try. No masks needed and tables distanced nicely. Menu had changed slightly since the last post, bit more expensive but same quality, still worth a look
