Reviews of Junkyard Golf Club
I. M.
Really cool version of miniature golf.
Very cool vibe. They have 3 different courses to choose from, each with its own theme.
Great spot for a date or group activity.
Only downside is that the holes are a little short so you end up getting through it pretty quick.
D. S.
Crazy golf with a difference - almost nightclub vibe to the place! Three differently-themed courses to choose from - we pre-booked ‘Bozo’, the scary clown theme.
The whole place is very well put together. Great that you can take drinks from the bar around the course, with plenty of places to rest them as you play. Would recommend for all ages. Staff were really friendly and helpful too.
S. B.
Loved this. Been twice now and it is fun. The courses are not that long but for the price and the vibe...it's a great activity to include in your day. We had such a giggle and the cocktails are super fun.
J. B.
Great experience, although we shot through the Pablo course quite quickly. It was great fun and a very close game. Love the neon effect and some of the holes were a bit.mind boggling.
M. &. M.
Great fun and great cocktails. Go mid week for their cocktail offer of £5 & for 1 game full price 1 game half price. Easily booked online, can cater for large groups.
k. a.
We came on a night out and our group was quite large and had to have 2 sittings. The staff were amazing, course extremely fun. Drinks package was included and the guy taking the photos was great.
We gave the staff free drinks for being amazing after asking the manageress if that was ok.
We could not fault the venue at all.
Was an absolute pleasure to give this place a 5 star review and look forward to returning soon.
Keep up the amazing work of keeping the customer happy.
J. B.
Have spent nearly 5 years in Oxford, 3 of which as a student and yet I have only just been to Junkyard Golf for the first time! Went as a date with my girlfriend and we had an amazing time! Staff are friendly and welcoming, the atmosphere is fun and the courses are great entertainment. Would make a fantastic venue for a date with anyone, wether first date or you’ve been together for donkeys… The drinks are nice too, on the sweeter side of the scale but still good. Will be coming back!!
G. C.
Had a really great time here. Staff friendly. Good range of drinks. Games are crazy and themed well - we loved the disco course, but each to their own - and all challenging. Good for groups or even as a couple. A good giggle!
I. B.
Amazing experience. I loved the fact that you can drink colourful exciting cocktails before golfing with your friends. The atmosphere and the design is brilliant and they do student discounts. I loved the themed golf courses and we had a really fun competitive time. Turns out that crazy golfing is better when squiffy !! However it is important to note that is a bit expensive and you should be prepared to shell out.
D. s.
Had a blast here on a Sunday when kids are allowed to play. Ended up doing 2x 9-hole courses (Gary & Pablo) and had a great time. Holes aren't too difficult for kids and offer some fun and challenging experiences. The tee boxes can be a little tight at times so being able to play left and right handed is a bonus! 😉 Would definitely recommend.
H.
The course here is really cool and the cocktail selection is good. We actually found the special cocktails too sweet and preferred the frozen cocktails instead. Only downside is that each course lasts about 15 minutes, and you have to pay for each one individually, so about £25 if you want to do all 3. Seems a bit pricey. But the place is really awesome - they have table tennis upstairs too
Y. W.
Overall a fun evening out, but the courses are very short and easy to get round if you're not in a larger group, and if its peak times you're more than likely doing the same course with another group and it can get a little crowded. But a fun time nonetheless and they play bangers. They also have a bar which has most drinks on offer but it can get pretty pricey.
I'd say book 2 courses, to really get the most out of it.
J. B.
Not my thing as a crazy golf setup, can be confusing to keep track of your ball with the flashing lights and UV effects which can literally change your balls colour. A few roudy groups who can't hold their drink, but otherwise enjoyable.
K. E.
Great place to have a fun game of golf.
Popped in there with my husband as we were visiting Oxford. Each hole very compact and didn't take long, would of been great if took a little longer, however once we finished we were offered a free game after as we were about to leave which was nice so we ended up doing two different ones. Staff all friendly, bar on site, toilets are clean and easy to find.
J. H.
My friend and I did the Gary miniature golf course (the easiest one) and found it to be perfect for our abysmal skill level. There are some fun surprises in the course, and unexpected ways to get a hole in 1. The courses are not flat - there are tunnels, ramps, slides, etc. which make the 9-hole course much more enjoyable and unique. Lots of fun for a good price - definitely recommend if you want to kill an hour or two.
C. T.
Great fun with the family, good value and drinks reasonably priced. Highly recommended, allow yourself at least 1hr to complete 9 holes. Each hole cleverly thought out, and themed. There was 6 in our group.
Y.
This is a really solid place to hang out.
Each course is reasonably priced, and not too easy or difficult to complete.
They serve some cool drinks as well.
You also got 2 Spoons down the road if you fancy some cheap drinks and scran.
G. G.
Its a good place to hang out.
To be honest they maybe could of added one more golfing area instead of an empty floor area upstairs! but all the more it was good fun. I recommend it.
P. N.
Excellent place, good fun. Didn't think much of their beer.
M. L.
Apart from the humour I found in my friends utter failure at putting one of the holes, this was an extravagant waste of money. The course took us 20 mins to complete and cost £10 per person. Each hole cost on average £1 each as there are only 9 holes, and we didn't feel like this was worth the money.
It's novel, and the atmosphere is fun, but only if you can make it last.
C. T.
The place is very well made. The staff is friendly and careful. I paid £17 for one round for 2 people, which is quite a lot for mini golf( I've been to a few more and they used to be cheaper) . They have 3 different games with 9 holes each. The drinks(1 cocktail and 1 mocktail) came with a small paper bag with an umbrella and some candies. Masks should be on, during the whole time. Nice experience. Would definitely recommend it.
A. L.
Really fun miniature golf.
You have the choice between 3 courses.
I would recommend Gary.
A. D.
The golf is really fun but only takes shout 15 mins to go round a course when it's not too busy. The drinks are expensive. Good fun but a bit pricey. There is NHS discount on certain days off peak though.
N. J.
Great night and my friend got given a free game for us all as it was their birthday. However cocktails were rather sweet and the doorman was a bit of an arse
C. S.
Had a really fun afternoon with friends here last Sunday.
J. R.
Went here for my fiancé's and brother's joint birthday, and they gave us two free rounds. A very nice gesture and the courses are very challenging and fun.
H. R.
Been twice. Whole experience brilliant. Fun and smiling staff. Cocktails delicious and the courses extremely fun and wacky.
A.
-Great fun
-Awesome background music
-Three different mini golf courses
-Friendly staff
-Plenty of seating / Booth seating
-Reasonably priced
-No vegan wine which was disappointing
L. A.
We decided to go spontaneously last night, really fun venue - the 9 hole felt a bit expensive for £10 each but aside from that the staff are really good, cheap cider and the old school games are great
T. N.
Cool set up of bar and mini golf. There are 3 different 9 hole courses to choose from and you can take a drink around the course with you too
s. k.
We had to wait to play our game as the other customers where taking longer, but all good as the staff let my children play on a practise course whilst we waited, they enjoyed themselves
A. C.
Very nice experience and something a little different. We went as a pair for a birthday and played 2 of the courses. With 2 people it only takes about 30 mins per course, but still nice and fun. The holes are nice and well make, it doesn't feel like a cheap build. My partner is an avid golfer and said he could never imagine enjoying crazy golf... but he loved it.
L. B.
Great way to spend an afternoon! Good cocktails and 3 different themed courses.
L. k.
Loved this place! What an amazing idea! Super fun and creative! Will definitely visit again or another one of your venues! 😊 Cocktails were great! 😊
T. A.
Great vibe and music. There are 9 holes per game. If you want longer time probably best to book two games and check out the different themes. Also has area to chill for food/drinks. Decor was awesome !
C. a.
Lovely atmosphere, the drinks were amazing too. It’s just a shame that the courses are so small and so expensive.
R. E.
Difficult to know how to review this as a bar in which case it a big noisy expanse or a golf course where you can have great fun for 30 minutes on a 9 hole crazy golf in the dark. Great fun and some good obstacles which need precision putting.
R. S.
Good fun, 3 different 9 hole courses to choose from. lots of choices of drinks.
A. W.
Did it with a friend for her birthday and it was very fun. Drinks a little over priced but then not bad for a place like that. The golf was really good, the holes were easy but hard enough. Enjoyed the fact to take drinks round with you. I will definitely go again.
S. H.
Family friendly during the day. We enjoyed a round of golf and had some cocktails and mocktails. Great atmosphere.
M. A.
Great fun if you want something different to do as a group - you get 3 choices of themed courses definitely recommend the clown (bozo) stage. Theme is carried out throughout all three themed areas. Average 8 holes per theme - if you work for the police and do walk in on a Tuesday you get half price games £4 instead of £8. It was also extremely quiet on Tuesday so good choice of day to go. If you want to have an alcohol drink the cocktails are well thought out and prepared however they are expensive at 7.50 per drink 😱. Worth going for the golf - but stick to going for a drink elsewhere
C.
Super fun! Really great cocktails and the props/themes are well thought out and super fun!
J. S.
Well in my 50s so a old bird its a mini golf inside a night club absolutely fantastic day out for those who under 25yrs make sure you take some form of id with you as we had a problem with one in our group glad got to sort it out with the manager when I step in ...part from that its gets very busy make sure you book a place especially on a Saturday and if you live near Oxford I would use the park and ride as Oxford multistorey car park is well jammed
J. H.
Golf was fun though the lighting was a bit weird in places. Was nice and cool downstairs but the bar area upstairs was particularly hot, was a very hot day though. Cocktails look great but were overly sweet and not terribly exciting. We didn't eat good so no idea if that was any good.
J. M.
Great fun! The course is a bit of fun...look out for the grave with the sneakers...! Booze is good, but not cheap. Staff are fun and really helpful. It gets busy so make sure you book ahead. They have a coat and bag store.
B. V.
Good fun, cool idea to have a bar and fun themes. Although when booking, you need to know the theme names as they aren't exactly obvious. Also, some of the holes are well designed and others feel like they'd run out of ideas. It's not exactly cheap at £8.50 for 9 short holes.
In a small group, you feel rushed, even during relatively quiet times, as people are sent in right behind you and it's very linear, so not really easy to pass. So unless you're followed by another group, couples start to pile up behind and you feel very awkward and rushed (of course, we let them past when we could).
The bar that used to operate in the middle of the courses is also out of service now.
Overall, if it's your first time, it's fun and worth going for a laugh with friends.
A. S.
Came here last night, jade really made our stay more fun, she was kind, knowledgeable and even set us a challenge and gave us free visors.
Drinks look and taste amazing, we were served by poppy she was very friendly.
Played the Gary course, staff here are amazing, I highly recommend visiting if you haven't already.
K. S.
First time visit to Junk yard golf and we enjoyed it emensly even though it was very busy. Staff where very helpful and friendly. Becarful if you taking your drink around the course with you though makes putting hella funny x
C.
Really fun! Courses are over quite quickly so would recommend doing a couple. Good drinks menu and there is a happy hour
W. R.
Been a few times recently now. Past two occasions the place was too busy. The cloakroom was closed on both visits which meant carrying jackets and bags around and finding places to leave them on each hole. Surely a few hooks wouldn't hurt? Big groups meant waiting quite a long time between goes. It would be a much better experience if fewer people played at the same time.
C. S.
Well thought out and fun course (Gary). Nice they had a bar area and table tennis. Quite dark and varied height play areas so people with mobility issues should be aware. Took about half an hour to get around in group of 3 so not cheap either. But we will go back to play the other courses so overall good.
A. A.
Very good fun. it's a must to try one of the junkyard cocktails. Staff are helpful and even though the floor can be sticky in some places (to be expected with those beautiful cocktails and people having a great time) The drink shelves and banisters are being sanitised regularly which is great to see. To see staff happy and dancing to the odd song really added to the atmosphere. Keep it up guys! Highly recommend for a couples night out or a different way to hang out with friends.
H. C.
Good fun but not the cheapest. The theme was student friendly and not kiddy like most mini golf places including a bar which allows you to take drinks around with you. Although it's a typical student bar with a sticky floor!
K. W.
Drinks service and entrance service was great. Courses are a bit slow to get around
H. P.
Had a great time, loads on fun and staff were very helpful
c. s.
Haven’t yet been however I’ve heard good things! I needed help with an enquiry and I used the Sistine service and Amica helped me and was great help and Lovely ! Can’t wait to go
S. F.
Good fun. Good to go with friends, grab drinks along the course and have a good laugh.Good music selection
A. F.
Fun but rather short. Would have rated 5/5 if the cloakroom would be free
A. R.
Great fun. Retro drinks at the bar. Book a couple of holes as they don't take long to go round!
J. W.
Great place for crazy golf, can be very busy sometimes and a lot of waiting to proceed onto the next hole on the course
R. L.
Great courses, good environment and well kept drinks. We love mini golf and play wherever we go. It’s very expensive here, £10 per person, per course (which is 9 holes) and no discounts for doing multiple courses. We have visited several of the Mr Mulligans chain and we can place 2 x 18 hole courses for the same price almost as 9 holes here. Music was extremely loud so we could barely hear each other. It’s very busy at night and not possible to social distance if that’s something which bothers you. We booked for 1740 but when checking in were told they couldn’t get us on until 1800 which defeats the object of booking for a certain time. Took two family members with us who don’t visit mini golf courses very often and they enjoyed it, as did we
O. I. H. S. N.
Vibe fun, perfect for teens and parents.
L. F.
The golf was fun enough but short and really expensive. My boozy slushie was kinda gross. But a nice way to spend an hour when there’s a storm out.
A. A.
Just fun🤣
A. M.
Came here on Saturday and what a life saver!!
Due to the rain my cousins hen party plans had been ruined, thankfully the lovely jade managed to squeeze 12 of us in on a walk in ticket. Despite a small wait Due to it being very busy we had an amazing time accompanied by some delicious cocktails by well trained bartenders.
Thank you jade for helping save the day!!
S.
Was good fun over quite quickly. Took us about 20 minutes to complete the course, two of us.
Bars were quick services and everyone was really friendly.
J. M.
Good fun, but alot of waiting around in busy periods even if you have booked a time slot. Friendly staff and helpful.
M. N.
Went for my stepsons 21st Birthday.
Great time had by all, just gutted there was no food.
A. T.
Junkyard golf is great fun, even if you’re not gifted with your putting ability. My only issue with it - the holes are too short. You really need to do 18 holes to make an afternoon out of it and obviously that’ll cost you double.
H. J.
Great evening out playing mini golf. Only thing I would say is the cocktails are super sweet, so much I couldn't drink mine. Maybe mix up the cocktails, but otherwise great 👍
A. D.
Perfect for night out with friends.
Only 9 holes per course, not enough to be honest.
A bit overpriced but fun.
T. R.
Always have a good time here but can spend money a bit too easily with each round of golf costing £8 to £9.50 each.
Z.
Good place to have fun & activity nice vibes
t. c.
Really fun crazy golf courses and even better cocktails!
L. C.
Good fun but the course was a bit short, only took 20 mins for 2 of us to go round.
L.
I LOVE junkyard golf! It's fun, quite quick and not badly priced. I suggest Pablo as a course as Gary was a tad boring at the start. Highly reccomend if you are in the area!
R. D.
A lot of holes and a lot of fun! Fun challenging courses with great music playing. Reasonable priced and good selection of drinks. However the food was disgusting - unpresentable microwave food!
N. K.
Pretty overpriced for a short round of minigolf! Fun courses though.
J. S.
Fun untill the novelty wears off, which takes about 5 minutes. Worth the £4 student discounted entry fee, but not anymore than that.
Cool concept but courses are small and unimaginative.
J. W.
Good atmosphere - staff went above and beyond - Can’t wait to go back
a. s.
If you're looking for a relaxed time with a couple of mates or a first date I would definitely recommend coming here.
There's good music and atmosphere and drinks are decently priced during off peak times.
Do your best not to rush though the course becaus you will feel like you don't get good value for money that way. But do cross your fingers and pray that you're not stuck behind a group of 5 middle aged women on a girls night out 🤞🏻
L. B.
Great fun and great place to go before a night out, went Saturday late afternoon and it was very busy.
C. l.
Great place for fun times and a few drinks
J. A. P.
Really fun and well decorated, with music and drinks along the courses. All of them are entertaining. I'd recommend going with a few friends to make the courses last longer, but it's still a fun date option.
N. B.
Fun to play, great drinks and photo opportunities
C. C.
Great place! The decoration is amazing! Perfect for a date or just to enjoy an hour or so with friends. It has a bar where you can eat, drink a beer, a soft drink or a cocktail just before or after playing a game. Once inside, you’ll also find a small bar in each game where you can buy another drink if you already finished yours!
K. E.
Good fun for the price. There are three courses. We tried Bozo which was clown themed. Lots of bars dotted around. Good start to a night out.
S. I.
Great place to take my 11yr old he absolutely loved it!
A.
Good atmosphere and great courses but they were a little crowded and fairly short
B. S.
Was so much fun, the staff were all Lovely and the cocktails were amazing. My boyfriend and i will definitely be going again.
L. F.
A tad expensive especially for a large group, but overall the crazy golf course was decent enough.
J. M.
An amazing venue for a night out with a group of you. A lot of people on a Saturday night felt a bit pushy, but that's nothing against the venue.
B. P.
Very cool vibe through the whole place. Staff are fun and helpful, courses are unique and very enjoyable. Mocktail options are amazing.
B. S.
Service was excellent but only a few holes were truly imaginative. Went with my 9 year old son purely for the mini golf....might have been more fun if I was drunk
M. S.
Great service by Harry! And great cocktails!
J. A.
Great experience playing golf here. Cool lights and music made for a great atmosphere. Courses are interesting and fun too.
J. S.
Visited junkyard on Wednesday night with my boyfriend. We hadn't booked on the off chance we could get in, when we did we were directed to jade at caddy her customer service is exceptional, she was kind, friendly and extremely helpful, we had a lovely chat with her and she really helped to make our experience here so much better.
Highly recommend, amazing staff
C. D.
Alright for a quick game of golf, but the course only has 10 holes so if there's only 2 of you, it goes by pretty quick. The drinks are good though.
L. B.
Great fun for a family or group of friends. Shame they charge you a pound per item to put in there cloakroom.
D. J.
Good night out with friends. The cocktails here taste amazing and they change the menu frequently. You can get a generous bag of pick n mix for £2!! Good selection of music with a decent atmosphere. They also have ping pong tables which you can use in between your golf matches. Definitely worth a visit if you're in oxford for the evening. Aimed at 18-30's. TL;DR Good night out for young adults, decent prices and a good selection of music. Would definitely go again and recommend.
L. D.
Drinks readily available from main bar or from small bars en route so you never get to thirsty! Courses are great fun and all different. However, watch out in the summer as the place becomes so hot.. feels like they have no ventilation at all. If they sorted that, would be 5 stars!
J. G.
It was okay I thought it was expensive £10 each for 9 holes I thought was streching it especially when there are 3 course there
L. T.
Went to junkyard golf in the Westgate Oxford as a family day out. 3 different courses that are inside with neon lights dim lightingvand golf themes. Good music playing as you make your way around, you can take drinks around with you.
A. W.
Good vibes but courses are too short.
M. L.
Great for a laugh with cocktails on the way round
N. U.
I arranged for my husband to attend with a group of his friends as part of his birthday surprise.
Contacting someone was pretty easy enough, no contact number but they do have online chat which was good. I arranged for 6 to have the party playa package which included drink tokens and food, in my opinion this was good value for money. They were able to play the Bozo round which I have been told is the best and most fun.
My husband and friends thoroughly enjoyed this. Service was good from start to end and atmosphere was very good. Highly recommended if you are looking for something fun to do!
B. O.
Awesome place! The best mini gold we've ever played! Situated right in the centre of town with several entrances, and a really nice relaxed atmosphere. Friendly staff, plenty of opportunities for refreshments and best of all, three awesome mini golf courses! Would thoroughly recommend to anyone and everyone! :)
S. B.
Great fun! Only problem is you are only allowed to order using the QR code.... This was a nightmare as some of us had phones that had died/wouldn't scan the code etc. We asked to pay contactless and were told no, only if nobody in the whole groups phone wasn't working then they could get a manager and "see what we can do", this was very annoying. But otherwise a great place.
A. K.
had a very good night, very polite staff and were fantastic at their jobs. the three golf courses are very well done and atmosphere was top notch.
S. M.
Good fun need more than 1 round
H. B.
Good for office parties and boozy evenings drinking cocktails but as a family of four we were underwhelmed as 9-holes was over in 20 minutes.
W. S.
Came all the way from London, totally worth it, good music, friendly and helpful staff plus 3 good courses to choose from. Did all 3 to make the trip worth it, was great fun. Reccomend adults go in the evenings on the weekend as it becomes an over 18s venue with an okay choice of drinks for a golf place. Would advise going 100%
G. C.
Great activity, good drinks prices too
J.
My date and I really enjoyed our time at Junkyard golf! The course didn't last as long as we expected but the table tennis tables were good and cocktails were decent.
O. S.
This is really awesome place to go out! The drinks are great and really reasonable prices too! The golf is so much fun and theirs two courses to choose from, have been on both and they are equally as entertaining. Theirs ping pong tables available, you need a £10 deposit for the bats and balls. Had some much fun there with the guys from work and when i went with the family as well! Highly recommended this place!! To top it off, the music is fantastic!!!
A. G.
I loved it. Nice! Very interesting golfing, so much fun if u are playing with friends! You can take your drinks together and
leave it while trying to roll in the hole :) The bar is also good staff is amazing. Nachos Was simply the best!
H. C.
Great fun. Drinks are reasonably priced. Good atmosphere. Sticky floors... but I guess to be expected.
D. B.
I really like this place but much better when there's more than two of you. With smaller groups you can get through it very quickly and wonder what you've spent your money on. Nice selection of beers and you can play table tennis while you wait too.
V. K.
The atmosphere and the art was great. The themes for each of the holes, were creative. And they did feel unique and different enough. Difficulty seemed fair, as an amateur. The staff were friendly as well.
However the holes just felt too small. I've been to places that have minigolf as a side attraction that were bigger. If it wasn't for the group ahead it would have been over quite quickly in my opinion. And that's my biggest gripe with the course, it's just way too small. Most of my time spent there was waiting for the group ahead to finish.
L. G. (. V.
This place is so much fun especially for a birthday party or a different night out with friends on the weekend! My only complaint was that staff kept walking across the courses as we were playing without asking if it was ok or at least checking someone wasn't in the middle of their turn (they were). I understand that they have to clean up after guests but seems like common courtesy to at least wait or ask first. Anyway, it really wasn't an issue overall. The experience was awesome and I would definitely recommend!
N. R.
Raised a smile or 2 but got the feeling nobody really cared.
N. J.
Great place for a fun evening out, good atmosphere and very friendly staff. Several different courses to play
R. K.
Well planned out games for all the family, no matter what the age. Friendly staff and clean. Reasonable priced cocktails and food. Could do with a bit more lighting in places and edging strips on some of the stairs. I would definitely go again as I had a enjoyable time and would recommend
A. K.
For a place that has its main focus on mini golf... each hole is about 2-3 metres in length from start to finish. Would be nice if they could make it a bit more challenging.
Apart from that, great ambience and very different from your usual mini golf attraction.
K. W.
I was really excited about this place, but sadly am disappointed. There was a lot of opportunity to make an exciting, alternative evening out; unfortunately the evening stops after 20 minutes. The pros: delicious (if you have a sweet tooth) cocktails, cool lights, fun atmosphere. The cons: prepare to spend at least £20 each for a game and a drink, not to mention a cloakroom that isn't free (best abandon those winter jackets and keep your cards on your person to avoid the extra £3 fee). The holes, although architecturally fascinating, prove simple to overcome and you eventually notice that a majority of the time it takes you to get around the 9 holes is actually spent sipping on your straw waiting for the people ahead of you to finish.
Good fun overall, but an exploited idea. I'll definitely come again if it drops to £5. Or if I'm really drunk.

Not very good value for money - we played one course and it took us about 20 minutes with four of us at £8 each. The cocktails were fairly decent and a selection were only £5 on a Sunday. We tried to order food after we'd played golf and they told us they had stopped serving (at around 6:30pm) which was disappointing. Fun, but wouldn't go back.
B. A.
Good fun, waits can get annoying if there's a big group in front of you though
A. W.
This golf course, whilst fun, is extremely overpriced for what it is. Unless it's busy you can be round the course in 10-15 mins which is not worth the money as a result. That being said, helpful staff and well maintained, would recommend as a one time trip, but no more.
G. 1. (. S.
Good place for a small group of friends
S. B.
It's good, but not great. Each course (the kids and I played Pablo) are only 9 holes. Each hole can be interesting with junkyard obstacles but ultimately is on the short side. There were probably too many people playing, which leads to waiting at the tees of several holes. Good fun but my kids (7 and 8) preferred Gravity Golf at the Kazam (which have 2 X 18 hole courses which are around the same price).
S. H.
It's got a great atmosphere, really dark and quirky. Some of the courses didn't have the best design as the ball just bounced out. We did only do one set (gary) so probably will go back and try the other one. I would say it's reasonably priced. Worth a visit
g. r.
Super cool and quirky golf. A bit too busy but only as is expected on a Saturday night. The cocktails are delicious too.
S.
Friendly staff and good fun! With 3 different 9 hole courses, each differently themed, there is a nice variety on offer. Just through the social with all the food outlets on hand it is a great destination for an evening out. Fully stocked bar on site too
L. D.
Awesome idea. Awesome staff. Awesome experience. Bar is well stocked with some good snacks too.
T. P.
Good measures in place following covid restrictions. Good fun day and the twista mocktail which came with a few sweet, nice little touch. Will definitely visit again to play the other two courses as did the Pablo course this time
S.
Lovely place, spacious and fun! There are only 3 main courses which means that there is a queue however it was really fun. Would definitely recommend go with friends (not too many). Also recommend you try upstairs, neat little fun and social area.
C. M.
Choosing one of the quieter evenings or going in the afternoon means there’s almost no wait time for drinks or on the course. Student discount available on select days of the week makes it affordable fun and the cocktail choices are almost as interesting as the course.
S. W.
Very busy but still a good time
D. B.
Fantastic place, something different for both adults and children to enjoy. Cocktails are amazing.
H. W.
Great idea but lacking in implementation. I would call it "mini golf" rather than "crazy golf". There are no moving parts on the course at all, no closing mouth, no windmill type thing, no timing required. They are short and very simple. Quite expensive at £10 for about half an hour of entertainment (depends on group size how quickly you go). Very dark, which would have been cool if the glow-in-the-dark balls actually glowed, but they are never "charged" with bright light so they don't glow at all. All in all, I think they're going to have to make it a lot more interesting to convince people to come more than once.
M. W.
Great fun, nice cocktails and drinks. Only thing I'd say is without discount it is a little over priced
B.
Great night out, went as part of a work night out so being in a large group helped. If your in a group less than 5 your going to be done with all the holes in 30 minutes which i would imagine is frustrating. I don't think I would come here as a night out with the lads but if it's a large work outting it's a great way to end a meal out with a round of crazy golf.
I will say this it looks AMAZING this is what got it up from 3 stars if the visuals weren't there this would have been a 3 all the way.
To finish Looks great but not small group friendly needs minimum of 7 to make it worthwhile
I would also say the amount of security floating around can be very off putting (excuse the pun) it set the expectation there is going to be trouble. Maybe hide them in plain sight somehow
P. s.
Good night out, good atmosphere!!
would recommend to anyone who is looking for a good night out with friends or family!
T. C.
Great place to chill with friends. Although it seems. A little overpriced it seems worth it when you get your next games better than half price. Good facilities with a bar, table tennis and photo booth on top of three 9 hole mini golf courses.
A. k.
Great drinks, helpful staff and lovely vibe, definitely a go to!
S. R. G.
Nice to do every now and then to have a laugh. Better to go when it's off peak tickets and the cocktails are pricey but it's exciting. Went with friends and then again with family and it's a great place for both!
l. f.
Good fun, but a little pricey for 9 holes
O. R.
We had a great time but we believe the cost of the alcohollic drinks was a bit excessive, especially as they are largely ice.
R.
Fun and competitive courses, especially with a big group of friends/colleagues
G. M.
Fun place for drinks and golf. Great date venue or for a catch up with friends
I. S.
Went as part of a Christmas Party at work. It was pretty good fun... The design of the courses, using lots of recycled objects like cars, baths and slides, give it character as does the lighting, music and cocktails.
T. P.
Lots of fun for a cold winters day! I didn't win but I didn't lose either!
J. P.
Really good fun for adults and kids 😀
(Bonzo/circus course can be a bit scary for young children)
A. A.
Bit dark and dingy but the staff were friendly enough. Can see at it appeals to adults more than families as it's a hipster bar come crazy golf place. They have cut off times for under 18's so be aware and check their website before venturing there. I think it's before 7pm for under 18's.
W. J.
Amazing place!! They converted a non-decorated building into a funky area of crazy golf, drinks, music, lights and just brilliance. Perfect for people looking for fun, Oxford has needed something like this for a long time!
Theres 3 golf courses, you need to pre-book a time, I will be going again!
A. S.
Fun to play. In the dark with music and neon balls. Only nine holes per course so it's over sooner than you think.
E. B.
Definitely coming back again. Nice cocktails and a lot of fun.
D. L.
Very fun had a great time. No one was wearing masks and the floor was incredibly sticky though.
A. H. (.
Something a bit different, a nice twist on the classic crazy golf. And its adults only at certain times. Would definitely recommend this for an activity to accompany your day drinking habits.
S. S.
Good fun but always very busy. Better in a big group. I went with my other half and really enjoyed it, but we got round 9 holes very quickly for the money
N. V.
Very good best mini golf I've been to
A. C.
Good fun in the centre of Oxford! 3 courses to choose from and you can go round your choice of course once. Can get a little busy in there and you may have to wait a little for your booked slot (to be expected!) But a fun evening all the same.
J. L. P.
Have done 2 courses.
The circus and junkyard one.
Both have 9 holes.
Circus one was amazing.
Junkyard was the best!!
F. Q.
Good atmosphere and themed courses but pricey for 9 holes.
R. M.
A lot of fun. Great course but felt a bit rushed to the next hole by a group playing behind us. Music was good and the selfie booth was a nice extra too!
P. A.
Friendly staff, great atmosphere, reasonably priced. Great times
E. D.
A good giggle in large groups if you don't mind sticking to everything you touch.
The aim of the game is to pour odd coloured expensive alcoholic liquids down your throat. The side show is miniature golf, a useful distraction, but hardly crazy.
Looking forward to returning, and thrashing my friend Jacqui again.
A. D.
Cool courses, but very short for the price. Better to go in larger groups and for drinks
N. M.
Good fun and they have table tennis up stairs for free!
周.
Really interesting! I’ve never been to such a funny bar in China! However the drinks can be improved...It’s more like a sweet juice than alcohol...
T. F.
Good fun, however very expensive for what you get. The holes were very short and not very challenging. I can imagine it being loads of fun with lots of booze and a big group.
O. B.
Fun place to play indoor golf on a range of three themed courses. You do need to pre-book as the place gets busy. Food and drinks from the bar inside are quite pricey.
G. B.
Staff very nice, good vibes. Ive been there twice and its always a pleasure to come back.
N. S.
Crazy golf is great but this one is alot more expensive than the ones we played in Chester and Liverpool, they were 18 holes and two courses,we payed £8.50 in Chester for 18 holes and £11 in Liverpool that included beer as well.this one cost£9.50 per person only for 9 holes.
This one in Oxford is great, but a tad dark in there, which makes it alot of fun and the holes light up ,and some of the holes are pretty hard.especially pablo number 8 and 9.still had good fun.
E. B.
Friendly staff and really nice cocktails but pretty short course. Not really worth the money.
B. S.
Good time had. Challenging course (If you've drunk enough). Although did manage to snuff out a win in the end. If you think hooch is out of style, try again and go for it. Good place to socialise and have a bit of fun. Although a. It odd the chap at the door asked my to dispose of my water in fear it was something else....
B. P.
Good fun although a little pricey for 9 hole mini golf. Went around 3pm Saturday afternoon and wasn't too busy, so got to spend as long as we liked on each hole.
D. B.
Nice golf rounds for a reasonable price. Functions well with social distancing and other safety measures. Nice pilsner too!
V. H.
Tamara was amazing, so will were the bar staff. Such a fun experience.
m. b.
great visits really enjoyed our time fun courses
A. W.
Expensive for what it is. Good atmosphere and drinks, loving the vibe. I would have thought for the price you'd play all 3 sections not 1. Was done within 10 minutes (£19).
J. R.
Some good music, drinks (even non-slushies) are *very* icy. Nicely flavoured though
P. P.
Brilliant fun for all the family. Make sure you go during specific times with under 18's.
Good holes that catch out the unwary!
m. c.
Great fun place, very friendly helpful staff, will definitely be going back for more fun.
J. W.
We played the funfair course. Couple of interesting holes. Would go back as they have two other courses which is better than most other crazy golf. Only 9 holes per course though
S. S.
Music too loud. Courses too short for the money but was good fun to do once. Staff were very nice and friendly
A. D.
It's a bit different, and fun but very disappointing it's only 9 holes per course so well over priced. There are much better courses around at better value
K. R.
Update: the issue was promptly and very professionally resolved.
This is a great little spot in Oxford for a very reasonable price. Ideal for groups, especially students (who get a discount).
J.
Always empty and quiet
C. H.
Great fun what more can i say proper crazy golf, loved it
Y. o.
It's a lovely environment with lots to do to have fun
C. M.
This review is a result of my first time attending. EXCELLENT! It certainly won't be my last time!
D. B.
Had a great time! Adam was amazing. Made us feel very welcome and enhanced the experience ten fold. The best customer service I've had in a long, long time!
J. P.
Pretty good for any students cost £4 for a course and one of the employees let us go on to another 1 out of the 3 courses after we finished the 1st one for free.
K. B.
The closest I've been to a nightclub in 14 months ..... it was amazing, great laugh, great staff and reasonably priced too
L. D.
Great drinks and atmosphere but games are over very quickly!
J. S.
Great fun.. course to short went to quick
T. F.
Brilliant experience at Junkyard, golf is brilliant and being able to take drinks round is a bonus !
R. M.
Really good fun. Er, it’s not really a golf club. This is a crazy golf type amusement place. Good though!!
L. C.
Better in a larger group otherwise over in a few minutes. Not ideal for under 18s in a sense that times they can go and play are limited.Nice idea as part if an evening out
A. W.
Good fun, but not a place to go if you are photosensitive!
O. A.
Loved it. Good mocktails. Golfing is nice not too long. Loved the car seating area. Lovely.
B. A.
Great fun! Good staff, bar is always slow but weve been back a few times
S. H.
Great atmosphere, great idea, was quiet on a weekday so we got round quick. Great for team building or work parties
T.
Had a great time! Raquel was particularly lovely and made sure we got the most out of our experience. Thank you!
A. D.
Cramped for my 6' 7" husband. We we caught up behind a hen party and the going was very slow.
B. T.
The team literally went above and beyond to help us with a little surprise. A big shout out to Jack the lovely doorman.
Highly recommended
F. B.
Fun for adults and older kids. At least 3 different courses to choose from. Good for a group night out.
F. B.
Would say a excellent night and even though we was late the staff still moved things about ended up staying for about 3 hours well done to the Oxford staff will be back again
S. W.
Lots of fun. I haven't laughed like that in a long time. Worth every penny and the cocktails are pretty amazing too!
s. c.
Brilliant had some really nice mocktails
Great staff. Good covid measures to keep customers safe
T. P.
Great fun. Especially on a night with friends, very chilled and relaxed atmosphere, definitely will be going again
H. K.
Looking for something different to do for an hour in Oxford? Well Junkyard Golf would be an excellent choice. Bars, music, fun lighting and some of the craziest golf makes it a fun experience.
G. T.
Really cool idea just wish the course was a little longer
C. M.
Drinks are kind of expensive. But the mini golf is definitely worth the price. Especially with 3 courses to choose from.
C. G.
A good place to visit, can get busy and very loud but you can always book ahead. Three courses to choose from, friendly staff and a good selection of drinks that you can take on the courses
H. V. A.
Tiny spot but interesting!
L. S.
Good fun. Drinks aren't badly priced to be fair. An enjoyable experience and will do it again.
M. N.
Very cool, great fun. Loud music and neon lights and creative course. Recommended.
R. S.
Great customer service. When my booking had to be cancelled due to a fire safety check, they rearranged it, refunded me and offered two free drinks.
J. K.
Great venue but drinks are a bit pricey!
M. B.
Fun crazy golf and even better cocktails
J.
Good but quite short. Also had a cocktail that was pretty much a slush puppy with all the ice in it.
M. H.
Pretty fun but didn't take much time
M. Q.
It was fun, but too busy and crowded.
R. G.
Had a awesome evening. Playing crazy golf while drinking is a good laugh. Good customer service as well
E.
Really well designed.
P. 9.
Good fun, great cocktails
p. f.
Choice of 3 Nine hole courses. Great fun
D. W.
Really good fun and lots of drinks on your way round fairly priced give it a try
A. P.
Great atmosphere. Nice cocktails. Good course unfortunately there only 9 holes.
V. I.
Is nice and funny but I think the routes are too complicated and too short compared to what you pay
I. H.
Great atmosphere with the lights and decorations. However a bit pricey as the games are pretty short.
S. B.
Good atmosphere but finished the golf within 10 minutes. Bit expensive for what it is
R. C.
Good fun and well setup but very pricey for what it is. Will go back and try another course all the same.
E. T.
So much fun!!! The staff are very friendly and helpful. Especially Sean your a star
J. P.
Good fun and just off the main shopping centre. A bit steep for a short duration game
D. D.
Great atmosphere and a great place to play mini golf!
M.
Twenty minutes of prodding around under UV lights reminded me of a trip to the dentist. I can also only assume "Junkyard Golf" is the output of a random word generator turned into a business pitch which then got out of hand.
Those on their death bed who've never been to "Junkyard Golf" can rest without regret.
L. F.
Brilliant place staff are fantastic! Good place to burn an hour or so
T. H.
Good fun, especially if you are in a group! And as it is indoors, you can go whatever the weather
D. F.
Brilliant time
A. F.
Great atmosphere, very novel and clever holes, but with only 9 holes expensive to do more than once
R. L. E.
Decent, the one thing I would say is unless you are going in a big group each course will only take about 20mins
H. A.
It's fun. But they really need to adjust the price. It's a rip off for a course that take about 30 mins to complete.
K. P.
Amazing, fun, cheap too would love to go again and the staff were lovely
S. W.
Really not worth the money for a 9 hole game. Ghetto gold in B'ham has 18 holes for roughly the same price.
J.
Good, fun atmosphere but the individual courses are too short for the price
A. J.
More fun than expected, has a good learning curve
D. N.
Really good fun, fair price, lovely way to spend the evening!
D. C.
Great day out. Huge choice of cocktails and 3 amazing courses to play on
S. M.
Really good. A different theme on the conventional crazy golf. I'd recommend it to anyone.
z.
Fun experience, but far too expensive, £5 for a can is ridiculous and £11.50 for 9 holes is pretty steep too.
I. F.
Good vibes and table tennis available after golf
R. T.
It's a good laugh for a start to a night out, have a bar halfway through the course reasonable prices for golf drinks and food
K. W.
Good atmosphere and extremely well decorated, however both the golf and the drinks were extremely over priced!
a. p.
Fun to play and things to while you wait your turn, 2 people took us 35 mins
M. S.
Sick set up with everything, just a shame each course is so small. Good deals with drinks, and games!
L. C.
Had a great time with some really bizarre crazy golf holes. Had to putt my ball down a slide and then go down myself! New one on me
K. K.
A nice night out with a variety of "holes".
S. B.
Super fun, great atmosphere and mix of easy and hard holes.
K. O.
Good, if a little pricey
M. W.
The course was different but the music is mind-numbingly loud and considering we booked it was very busy and people always behind waiting to play.
L. Q.
SO MUCH FUN!!! We went here for my boyfriend's birthday and loved every minute of it!
L.
Great afternoon out. Only down side they send other groups in with your group should wait 10mins
C. G.
Fun place to go with friends any time of day. They have a bar next to the course
M. K.
Good fun. Not much space to manoeuvre on some holes. Very dark.
J. D.
Great night out with all my friends, fun place to be in 10/10 great cocktails & hot dogs
C. T.
Brilliant place...Great for a family day out
S. A.
Fun course and quite challenging but prices for almost everything and the games are too high.
J. D.
Always fun, drinks are lush. Quick and easy to book
M. F.
Enjoyed a fun filled mini crazy golf.
P. M.
Expensive but great fun
M.
Went with friends, good laugh, cheap place for the course IMO. Drinks normal Oxford price
J. G.
It was good - a little expensive for what it is.
D. S.
Went with work for a night out had lots of fun there well worth it
A. M.
Great fun,
U. E.
Great team evening out, exciting range of drink and fun course
x. C.
Super fun just wished it took longer to do the courses
B. J.
Expensive for just 30 minutes entertainment. Expected standard 18 holes
Dissapointed to only get 9.
l. c.
Super fun as always
R. N.
Good fun. Very loud. Good selection of drinks.
K. B.
Great fun but each course a bit too short
H. G.
Really fun night out we did 2 course and laughed all the way round!
A. W.
Really fun to enjoy with friends and family!!
i.
Great place includes a bar too experience but worth it
K. J.
We had an amazing time and it was really good fun.
v.
Very expensive for 9 holes. £70 for 6 of us but we were done in 20 minutes
M. S.
Great fun, and do amazing cocktails!
D. L.
Quite big but nothing special. It's dark and the general feeling is that it could have been a better place
A. C.
Good for a first visit. Quite expensive for the amount of time you spend there!
J. P.
Awesome activity mixing mini golf, acid and beer all in one!
K. S.
Coz on Saturdays we play golf 🎉
T. T.
Really liked this place its just it goes really quickly but great staff !
S. C.
Good fun. Loud music. Expensive drinks.
S. O.
Good course and fun decoration
T. O.
Brilliant loved it friendly staff defo go back just a bit dark not good if you have poor eyesight
M. W.
Good fun bit cramped.
T. s.
Amazing night out with a grouo of friends or just for 2. The drinks are amazing
N. H.
Love the drinks and atmosphere! A great night as always.
B.
Courses are short might be better during the night time for the atmosphere
P. M.
So much fun! Just a shame there's on 3 courses
B. P.
Friendly staff. Good atmosphere. Great cocktails
M. W.
Fun but a bit pricey for what it is...
V. S. C.
Nice, but a bit wierd with tills closing an hour before the place shuts down.
h. a.
It was great but they need to sort out air conditioning it's so stuffy
L. s.
Fun, only 9 holes tho
C. M.
Good fun and well decorated, but very overpriced for what you get.
B. Y.
Love the vibe - great place to chill with your mates and grab a few drinks.
R. C.
Really good laugh! Feels like a night club
A. C.
Fantastic for a night out! Really enjoyable would recommend.
J. B.
Cool golf and cool drinks.
C. L.
Fun but expensive. Courses are imaginative but some holes are unfortunately poorly designed.
T. S.
Great atmosphere and so much fun!
T. M.
Some pretty cool courses and a sick drinks menu, albeit a tad pricey
D. B.
Gary was the best of the courses and the cocktails were fun!
J. K.
Had a good time. Very busy and loud with sticky floors.
k. b.
Enjoyable golf but very loud music and mostly young clientele.
A. P.
Great place to go with friends good atmosphere Aswell!.
C. B.
A great little adventure golf course, could do with a few more holes though
S. W.
Indoor golf with neon and drinking. Fun with the right crowd although a little pricey.
T. H.
Good
M. Q.
Lots of different small golf courses, great atmosphere.
M. B.
Perfect to have fun with friends, but it's very quick.
M. W. (.
Best minigolf I've played. And I've played, like 3
J. A.
Really fun place great service great vibe
T. U.
It's a lot of fun. Drinks are a bit expensive.
