The staff were nice and the food impeccable. We tried the hunters chicken and gammon steak, both were impressively grilled and the chips were very crispy.
Desserts were good although the chocolate fudge cake was a bit too sweet to my taste.
Reasonably priced at £30 for two starters, four mains and two deserts. Would definitely come back.

G. L.There is always something going on at this pub, whether it's bingo, music, sports on TV. The pub is the hub of Botley. A real community asset. They've even begun hosting the local market on Saturdays. Always a nice selection of ales on tap or in the bottle and the food is always excellent. A big shout out to the three main ladies behind the bar who do an excellent job. Becky is always friendly, Tracy is a wonderful landlady with time for everyone, and Tracy's mum, Kate, is always up for some banter. Highly recommended.
M. R.The cheerful staff had helpfully reserved us a table in sight of the TV so we could watch the match. The food was excellent value and the portions were large and satisfying. The beer was good and the company was congenial. Well recommended to travellers staying at the new Botley Premier Inn.

R. H.Came here with my family and the dog as the A34 was closed, very lucky to have found this place to have a nice cold drink and some really tasty food, great value and dogs are welcome too and a nice garden to sit in. Staff were brilliant.
