M.Imagine silky smooth nectar pouring down from the stratosphere like felix baumgartner with an aborted parachute directly into your gullet. The cocktail quality raises the intensity.
Visited pre-Covid: alone, sitting, in a booth, spread out, and got absolutely thrashed like a lapsed AA member. The experience was sublime. Before you judge, try it yourself.
Needless to say, the vid horrors have not wrecked the foundations and the cocktails are still solid as the Rock’s biceps.
Never seen so much care and attention to detail around a happy hour drink. I may be used to London prices, but if this was near me I’d be a casual alcoholic.
o.Very good cocktails. Only the waiting time to place an order is very long but at the end its worth! 5 stars for the cocktails but overall only 4 because of the long waiting times!

P. S.Maybe not the greatest design of a cocktail bar, but the quality of drinks and service definitely gets it to 5*! Worth visiting when in Oxford if you are up for few old-fashions!

They do a great Bloody Mary too! Friendly staff and good atmosphere. Their sister bar, House Bar, next to The Bear is also worth a visit.

R. F.Simply the best cocktail bar in Oxford as far as I am concerned. Proper cocktails made properly. That does come with a price tag; £8 and up in most cases but you get what you pay for! If your looking for early evening drinks then you can get the same great drinks at half the price (I think some drinks are excluded) during their happy hour (which is much more than an hour: 4pm to 7.30pm Friday and Saturday, 4pm to 9pm Sunday to Thursday). Unsurprisingly it gets particularly busy at happy hour. Highly recommended.
P. S.The drinks were easy going, but high professional standard, cocktails, at around £7/8. The interior made the bar, though. Plenty of luxurious seating for groups, no issue on a Friday night, and great lighting for photos.
