Pub in a lovely location by the river.
Butternut squash lasagne was amazing!
Would definitely come back again!

Lovely pub, friendly staff and great food. A wide good selection of food including vegan and vegetarian. Look out for the specials board.

We arrived just as the lunchtime kitchen was closing but we're served anyway with smiles and good humour.
My companion had a prawn salad - she had chips instead of the bread and was charged another £1.50.
My cheeseburger may have been microwaved but was very good. Good the onion rings and coleslaw too. We had alcohol free lager and draught (draft?) cider, delicious.
We sat outside under a canopy it was lovely.

First time here, we'll definitely be back
The food is absolutely delicious, home cooked and well worth any wait (in busy times).
The staff and very friendly and extremely helpful, they gave Pat a sharp knife for his meat but we'll let that ride, he managed to behave himself.
Personally I can highly recommend the vegan burger and chocolate spoon cake, absolutely delicious.

Oh wow, just had the most amazing dinner here. Had the Brushetta to start and fish and chips for main. They were both fantastic, the fish batter was the best I've ever had, they prepare it on site which is nice to know considering the amount of ready meals that come through pubs these days. Our server, Laura, was absolutely fantastic too, there's nothing to say except get yourself here for a great culinary experience and a genuine warm welcome in a lovely ambience.

Great pub. Visited twice now. Food was good too. Friendly staff. Beer garden is the biggest plus.

Popped in at last night (Sunday) just before the food finished. Staff couldn’t have been more helpful - the burgers and beer were fantastic. Easy to find and nice location. Recommended.

The place looks very old times but lovely, specially the library. We have lunch outside and the weather was great. Ealing having that beautiful landscape was a must. The MASH burger was very tasty and the chips really nice. The staff was very kind and smiling all the time. I dont like I was at home as everyone was very welcoming.
The place is close to the canal and after a lovely meal you can go for a walk following the canal. So relax and green everywhere. A place to come back again, per sure.
