B. J.Nice pub in the neighborhood. Outside seating, in the shade in the afternoon. Good selection of beers and food (burgers and pizza) they offer a weekday deal £5 margarita pizzas and they are delicious, fresh ingredients, great sauce, tasty sourdough crust
N. H.Great selection of beers and ciders. Food is very high quality and tasty but lacks variation.
The staff are amazing and have always been chipper, kind and ready to help their customers. Free water is provided via a help yourself tap. All in all a good pub to go to occasionally.

But the food was only okay, I had a pizza and it was quite bland to be honest. The crust was good but the tomato sauce didn't have any flavour and there weren't very many toppings (I had olives on mine and I think there was only 4 of them, for example)
j. a.As usual a nice pub. Very tasty basic food (pizza and burgers) which include vegan options and even when advised there’s a wait, it’s speedy but obviously freshly made. Beer is reasonably priced, on the cheaper side of city pubs. Dodo pubs are always a safe bet. Can get busy at times though

My favourite though are the beef burgers. I love them pink and chunky, and that's what you get. My associate had a Dirty Bird there, and that was lovely too. They do plant-based vegan burgers, but...you know...each to their own.
Try the dodo lager, it's quite nice.

I need to know your secret, is it the pickled, caramelised onions? the sweet toasted buns? the beef cooked to perfection? i don't know but i must come back and have another taste!
M. P. (.I love this place. The food is good, the coffee as fabulous, the service is fantastic, and the ambient is perfect.
I especially like the pizza margarita deal, £5 for a pizza Monday- Thursday. I also love the truffle fries :)
