Was so nice here. First time in Peterborough for the evening n had 2 quick beers. Friendly staff n pretty clean. Sitting under the heating was so nice. Would definitely return

First visit in 2 years (mainly due to covid) pub was nice and quiet during the lunch period - which made me feel safe covid wise (major plus for me!). Attended pub for lunch with 3 other friends, due to other commitments we all needed a quick lunch. However even though pub was quiet, 3 diners got their food quickly (one even had pizza) the 4th diner took ages and ages for their main meal to arrive (we had all eaten our meals by the time the 4th diner's meal had arrived) Very disappointing

I love drinking. And I recommend coming here if you are thirsty. When we came in we were served by Kyra who knows all about the various beers and spirits and helped us in choosing what to have. Would definitely recommend. Ask for Kyra.

Lovely city centre bar that is reasonably priced and serves good food. It is also extremely family friendly where my 6 year old son loves a pizza and chocolate brownie treat. The music comes on at night time over the weekend and I always think it's a really good selection, suitable for a mixed age group. My only criticism is the toilets. They can be absolutely disgusting at times. It doesn't stop me coming however.

Staff were good and made sure there were no issues. Cocktails were fairly basic and not properly mixed, not great. Lots of items of food were out of stock and the quality of the food wasnt great. It was ok, but essentially sub-par pub food.

Always a good time here. The manager makes sure we're looked after and a great atmosphere for the sports.

I very rarely visit this chain but Spoons over the road was packed with a 45 minute wait for breakfast. The breakfast here was a little more expensive but the quality of ingredients was far superior to our Spoons visit the previous day. Great service as well. Two real ales from Sharp's. Will definitely give this chain a go on future city breaks.

Great food at great prices. Will be returning regularly for the salivating burger and drink offer. Service was very standard, nobody was going out of their way to make us welcome but the building and product more than make up for it. (Also have a great whisky collection, extra kudos)

Liked it. Went to watch the football which is shown on numerous TVs around the pub and projected onto a screen at the back (although the bracket was a little loose so the screen shook a little if the beam was knocked into or even walked past to vigorously ). Beer good with a varied selection and a reasonable price. Didn't eat here so can't say as to the quality of the food but the menu had a good section of classic pub food and at a good price to. Staff were friendly and helpful. All in all we will go back, nice place to spend an afternoon.

Disappointed by the food this time. Mac & cheese was small and probably frozen stuff and the garlic bread was honestly bland. I still rate 3 stars because I love o'neil's but won't be getting food there again.

An excellent establishment now that the renovations are finished. The ordering app didn't seem to work (tested on multiple devices) and is quite convoluted - it appears to be a viewport of the website rather than an independent framework. I'm aware that this is most likely not the fault of this particular pub, however it is still a representation of this company. Food is brilliant and I'm glad to see that there is no limit on contactless spending.

One of the best pubs in Peterborough, the prices are reasonable and the staff were quick and polite. The decor is as you expect in a pub chain it was roomy and comfortable and quite relaxing. The toilets are downstairs which was good for some of our company who cannot manage the stairs in other pubs.

I always drink in this pub with my husband and it’s a great atmosphere but, 3/5 we get charged £4.70 for 2 pints of carlsberg but 2/5 we get charged £5.70. There’s at least 2 members of staff that are charging more, and can identify them by face but not by name. One price is either correct or incorrect

I love this place, all of the staff here are very friendly and helpful. I organised a lunch time celebration for 14 people and pre ordered the food. This was delivered on time and piping hot. Overall wonderful service at a great price.

Popped in today with a few old friends for a meal had a few drinks at the bar first and was warmly welcomed by Gary and kyra who made us feel very comfortable and where served very quickly considering it was lunchtime.I had the rump steak which places often get wrong but it was cooked to perfection thoroughly enjoyed our meals so much compliments to the chef who we had the chance to say hello to, Kristine i would highly recommend and will visit O’Neill’s again very soon to try a few different meals.lovely place warm and comfortable,and the prices where very reasonable and worth every penny.
