Lovely pub, bigger than it seems from the outside. Plenty of seating inside and there is a beer garden, too. Absolutely delicious pizzas and cocktails. Very friendly and welcoming staff.

Pizza is great and staff are nice. It's a bit chaotic of an evening - not sure if it's meant to be a restaurant, bar or live music venue - seems they're trying to be all 3 which doesn't always work. We went for dinner at 7.30 on a Saturday and the music was too loud for you to even have a conversation. If you want a nice lunch or afternoon snack, I'd definitely recommend. I'd probably avoid eating in the evenings, unless you really like it lively.

Gr8 pub. Has outdoor seating areas as well - one at the back and a terrace. Nice, chilled out, almost farmhouse-like decor (lots of wood everywhere), and comfortable seating. Very friendly staff. Jammed on footie nights.

One of, if not the, best city centre beer gardens in Peterborough! Very unassuming from the front, but a multi-level delight at the back! Catches the sun all day so perfect to sit outside and sip an Aperol Spritz. Food selection is perfectly formed - small but absolutely brilliant. Staff very friendly. Definitely on the list to recommend to others if visiting.

Visited from South Yorkshire. The pizzas looked lovely and the drinks were nice although very pricey compared to other, similar bars we visited. There was a situation in the bar with a dog which we felt was handled really poorly and escalated. My partner was stroking this so dog which resulted in a member of staff who was not even on shift getting involved and asking me to get my partner to stop and kept going on about the situation. This made us feel really uncomfortable and was unprofessional for somebody not even working on the evening. I appreciate there are rules but the situation was dealt with in a poor manner which was not a good impression.

Went yesterday for a Sunday roast and I have to say how impressed I was with everything. Great music on a Sunday afternoon got a few people nodding their heads and singing along. I had a really nice pint of IPA which was a bit like punk IPA and very reasonably priced. Then we had our lunch which was priced at £11 per head. I accidentally ordered roast pork and I am so glad I did. 2 good sized chunks of pork belly and amazing crackling. The portions were huge, so well worth the money. This is the best place in town for Sunday lunch.

This is a very welcoming pub, with a great selection of ales, lagers, wines and spirits. The staff are friendly and knowledgable, giving excellent service. The pizzas are freshly made and cooked in the 'Large Lizzy' pizza oven and are very reasonably priced. With plenty of seating, including a large beer garden, which is spread over two levels, this is a true Peterborough gem. The decor is rustic with lots of intriguing pieces of material, that you really have to look for, that make a mention, or link, to the Queen. This could be a copy of the album 'Queen II' by Queen, or a door that is marked as the entrance to Buckingham Palace. You could spend hours looking for every reference. This place is well worth a visit.

Thoroughly enjoyed the Sunday roast (roast beef) today, with my partner. Perfectly done vegetables, and a generous serving thereof. My partner is Japanese and it was an added benefit that the Queen's Head serve draught Kirin lager! We shall definitely return again for further Sunday lunches.

I love the experience and atmosphere that the queens head provides whether it's a daytime drink or one of their wonderful weekend events. They have such lovely, welcoming staff and a wonderful crisp selection to choose from. I can even bring my dachshund into the pub as they are welcoming to dogs!!!! I will be back again!!!!!

Good beer and nice atmosphere. The current seating system to keep people socially distant does try it's best but the limited entrance/exit doorway causes some problems. Ordering drinks via the website works well and was fairly fast and easy although you do need to create an account to complete the order.

Went for pizza here and it was nice. Can be a tad loud if you go on a night when there is live music so if in a group it may prove difficult to chat. But nice venue and a good place for drink and food. Just to add, fantastic coffee served here too
