Very friendly micro pub. Was made to feel really welcome. Lovely selection of beer from local breweries and further afield.

Super place, great beers, no music and friendly folk! Love it. Next visit, a year later - and nothing has changed ! Sunday, 4 p.m. and the place is heaving, standing room only, but no trouble to reach the bar, everyone is so friendly. The beer is great, the company convivial, the boss and his staff are so welcoming and helpful its like a time warp into an almost forgotten time of warm sociability and calm. I can't wait to visit again.

One of the 6 places to get a really well kept pint of beer in Peterborough. Also a well deserved winner of best cider pub. Lots of social events. If you want to eat just get a pizza from the place next door or a Chinese From the place on the other side and you are welcomed in to have a beer or cider with that. Really, what's not to like. 🙂

Such a breath of fresh air. I've come here on my own and had a drink, comfy chat and always feel welcome and safe. As a woman there aren't too many places this happens. Really friendly and the beer/cider is outstanding.

Really liked the place. Have been meaning to go here for ages. Chances upon it one afternoon and enjoyed my visit. You'll get a very decent pint of something here although you may not recognise the name on the tap or bottle. It's a micro pub so in my guess suitable for 30 to 40 people at a pinch. Has seating outside and dog friendly. Not many new places opening up so a please to see this one well supported. Has an Indian and Chinese either side if your peckish.

Looks like nothing from the outside. Whilst this long, narrow micropub is one of the smallest pubs I have been to, the choice of beers and ciders is incredible. I've only been the once whilst visiting Peterborough but it seemed a very lively and friendly place. If you like Fosters, you probably shouldn't bother. If you like a good pint though, definitely worth a visit.

Excellent choice of ales and ciders, friendly (and slightly mad) staff. Both beer and cider festivals offered very varied choices. Dominoes, chess, draught experts welcome and a part time pub cat (Colin) available. My favourite pub.

We have visited many times and always had a good experience the real ale and cider is always top quality they do bottled lager's as well as wine and soft drinks no food but there is a Chinese one side and a Indian the other and they allow you to eat your food in the pub .also well behaved dogs on loads are allowed

A great place for real ale (and cider) lovers in Peterborough. Always a big selection. Today there was 9 ales and all in tip top condition. I always have halves in here so can try as many as I can. 6 stars.

Absolutely love this place...no music, no slot machines, just decent beer and cider (soft drinks as well), but the best thing is being able to chat to your friends and meet people from your neighbourhood in a common appreciation of fine craftsmanship. Living the other end of Werrington, its actually part of our keep fit regime and as we walk every other day, I am so looking forward to another night shortly. Have considered moving house ;)

Don't miss this micro pub. I was there on Froth Blower Day, with the Friends of the Froth Blowers in attendance, displaying various pieces of regalia & memorabilia from the between the wars charity, The Ancient Order of Froth Blowers. Up to 9 real ales on, including, ofcourse, ales from the Froth Blower Brewery, Birmingham, plus a Cider Festival with 40+ real ciders on. Great beer; great atmosphere; great balls of fire! Probably the best micro I've visited so far.
