A busy all day drinkers pub, but has a good locals following. Nearly spit and sawdust but not quite, cheap but was understaffed took 20 minutes to be served. £1 pool table.

No food served at the mo, but fish n chip shop right next door n they're happy to let you eat it in the pub (even have a chippy menu at the bar). A couple of rowdys in, but they serve a lovely pint of Thatchers Haze and Gold. Friendly staff too, pleasant evening.

Amazing food ( big shout i know!!) Great friendly staff. Reasonable prices too! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal here! WeHave recommended' The Eagle to friends and work colleagues. We are definitely coming back real soon. It has a lovely decor and a real relaxed " ambience " to the whole experience. The range of food is exceptional, with many veg/vegan options. Don't pass this place by!

Friendly staff and welcome. It's a Scottish bar and very Celtic and looks a little rough around the edges but always clean and tidy. The only point is the toilets could be referbished to a better standard. All in all good pint to be had here.

Centrally located the pub gets busy, but not rowdy. It offered food that looked pretty good and service was quick. They facilitate bar games. I would say the clientele is predominantly workers from the nearby market or other businesses. Plenty of seating and a few TV screens littered about, I didn't use the customer toilets but they do have them. Only negatives to report were a slight lack of lager selection and unnecessaryily dim lighting which gave the venue a glum ambience. Disabled access to the bar is good, but there are steps up to games and the dining area. Parking is limited to a pay and display car park 2 mins walk away.

If you want to see the Hoops play, this is the home of the Plymouth Celtic Supporters Club. Plus it's a good boozer!

Nice pub but a bit off the usual route. Not hard to find in the middle of town but I doubt they get much passing trade during the evenings. Nice enough pub but just in the wrong place!
