Popped in for an evening meal with my partner. The food was absolutely delicious and the owners very welcoming. There was live folk music being played which we thoroughly enjoyed.
I would highly recommend this pub.

A very long time since I have been here. Since then, you no longer can smoke in a pub (good move that). New(ish) owners, fewer locals, lorra lorraa holiday punters eating the faqmilty out!!. Decent menu, not overpriced. Best burger in a pub setting i HAVE EVER EATEN and well recommended.

Absolutely a hidden gem! It looked like an ordinary local pub with an old school website. But the food was amazingly delicious with a wonderful presentation! Highly recommend and would come again! (Also the Inn's dog is a cutie)

Spent a lovely evening having a few drinks and a meal. Warm welcome, candle light and roaring stove. Still keeping its local feel. Burgers excellent, fillet steak wonderful and Bunny Chow very tasty. Shared an excellent cheese board.

One of our favourite local pubs. Rural and cosy. The food is fabulous and well worth booking a table to sample. Arthur and Phil are fantastic hosts who will always make you feel welcome.

Phil and Arthur took over the Mildmay back in Oct of 2017. We've eaten here a number of times and always had a warm and friendly welcome. The bunnychow is great South African fare and comes highly recommended. Arthur is also happy to do something simpler for the kids, so everyone's happy. Not bargain pricing, but good value for good food and a pleasant atmosphere.

Was the most amazing food. We had a selection of tapas and it was absolutely divine. Phil and Arthur without a doubt are the best asset to the villiage and to the pub. Will 100% be returning.

Delicious food made from local ingredients. Modern without being intimidating, I would highly recommend the bunny chow. The couple that run the pub are very friendly and clearly passionate about their menu.

Well worth the narrow lanes to get to.
Restricted Covid menu, but plenty of options for everyone.
