B.To begin, The foxhound Inn is pretty damn wonderful. Brixton is a cool little Village and this pub is all you need in it. The Inn Is situated less than 2 minutes walk from the Air BnB we stayed in.
Me and my partner only went for the food and the atmosphere of a real classic pub that's what we got.
The service was lovely and friendly, the drink options (alcohol) had a good variety with wines and others.
The food, Though the menu wasn't limited but not too large, Was amazing and the portion sizes for the price was excellent. I would 100% recommend the food here.
I however cannot comment on the rooms as we did not stay in them.

R. J.Great friendly, warm, welcoming traditional pub. Excellent food, superb choices to drink and even a dartboard. In the winter there is a real log fire burning and great local spirit. In the warmer months they even offer stone baked pizzas cooked freshly in their stone baked oven in the beer garden. What more could one want. Cheers

Then for an evening drink, where the outside pizza oven was in full flow. Plenty of people eating pizzas, which looked good. Great pub, our favourite. Still as great as ever.

C. B.Absolutely fantastic. We stumbled across The Foxhound Inn while on holiday in Devon a couple of weeks ago. We hadn’t booked but they managed to get us in even though they where very busy. The food was absolutely fantastic. I had the best gammon steak of my life followed by my favourite syrup sponge and custard. My wife and two you daughters also loved the food and very friendly staff. Thanks to you all. We would definitely recommend to anyone.

Food and drinks ordered, pleasant staff.
Food very good, 3 starters ordered, a generous portion of pate, garlic mushrooms and a garlic bread with tomato tapenade all were delicious.
4 main courses, burger, scampi, pie of the day and fish pie.
Fish pie the best I have had in a while, very tasty. Good portions of scampi and burger.
All reasonably priced. Would recommend and will visit again.
D. R.We were extremely lucky to have chosen a place to stay nearby to The Foxhound Inn. The food was 1st class and as was the service. Very friendly staff who made us feel extremely welcome. Lovely atmosphere typical of an old English pub. Genuinely some of the best English cuisine I have tasted. The wood fire pizza’s over the weekend are a great addition to an already incredible menu. I highly recommend taking a drive to visit this pub if you are seeking a welcoming country atmosphere and a memorable dining experience.

i. h.Great fresh food and quick efficient service, we had large family meal on Christmas Eve and all the food arrived fresh , hot and full of flavour. Both my son's left empty plates and they rarely finish everything. Desserts are large and fulfilling.

k. b.Nice place. We were cycling out near there and stopped in. We only sat outside and had a pint, but the food menu looked good and all the staff were nice and friendly. When there, I think I saw one of the chefs picking herbs from the garden... Cannot get better than hand picked, fresh herbs chosen specifically for your food! Would prob have given a five, bit as we only sat outside for a pint, I couldn't honestly say I've sampled all they had to offer. Will deiffinately pop back in if our rides go that way again.

Was disappointed in my steak as I enjoy a decent piece of fillet at most restaurants who are able to cook steak to order but today wasnt the day to enjoy a decent fillet cooked the right way , sorry .
