Long and very busy pub, quick service though even with the crowds when visiting, plenty of ales on offer and cant remember what I had but it was a dark ale which was very well kept, delicious in fact. Recommended.

beer I had was not right however the bar manager not only changed the beer but came out to me and explained about what was wrong and gave me a free beer and an apology. well done, that man clearly cares about the quality of his beer.

Been here twice in 2 days. Great little pub with great atmosphere. Warm fire and cards and dominos available to play. Cheap gin and friendly staff. You can also bring your capn Jasper's or other food in to eat whilst you drink. 10/10 will use again!

Just back from a great weekend in Plymouth. A two night stay at The Maritime Inn - the self catering accommodation above the pub was excellent - 2 bedrooms and room for another bed in living area if needed! The apartment was clean and fresh looking, the kitchen well fitted out and with a full and varied menu to choose from in the bar and being located right on the Barbican we couldn't have asked for more. The landlord was really nice and friendly and was happy to give us with some advice on where to go walking and where to board the ferry. I can't wait until our next visit

Nice pub ,just disappointing the brewery won't sort out the toilets .well in need of a refurb. It's a shame for the staff.
