Fabulous live music set, great ambiance and, excellent selection of alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages. Definitely worth a visit for something a bit different and really special.
Enjoy!

Very small pub with no parking but well worth the visit. Friendly owner who wants to look after her guests and lots of things on the walls to explore - a real character pub. Guest ales and various events on, including folk music.

The Providence is always very welcoming and although nowhere is totally risk free from covid Shirley is doing everything humanly possible to keep the risk to a minimum. I look forward to resume the "Deadpool" when it's feasible.

What a brilliant pub The Providence is. (Locally known as The Provi). Relaxed atmosphere, great decor. Top ales, ciders and spirits. Fireside chairs. Really friendly bar staff.

A real pub! Great ales and large selection of other drinks available. Very helpful and friendly staff and customers too. Plus a couple of lovely pub dogs that look for your attention...frequently. 😃. Looking forward to the next visit.

Lovely little pub. Went there Sunday evening with my wife, daughter and daughters chap. Cosy warm and welcoming. So nice to go into a pub with no pretensions and no designer menu. It's good to know pubs like this still exist and long may it continue to do so.

Best hidden pub in Plymouth run by a lovely Landlady who opens your crisps for you with scissors and makes you feel like friends in her living room. Old fashioned service in an old fashioned pub, we stayed all afternoon and evening and can't wait to go back.

Not been in this little pub for ages but was pleasantly suprised. It is a nice, cosy, friendly little establishment with a decent selection of ales and ciders. Definitely won't be leaving it so long before my next visit.

A cosy back street pub - the type that is fast disappearing. Under new management. No TV, no food, no loud background music but good beer and conversation. There are also occasional music sessions

Tiny, cozy, friendly, good beer and a roaring winter fire. Great back street pub, there are few left.
