Has new management again. Great friendly staff and customers. Fun atmosphere, it's back to a mixture of a proper pub with nights of live entertainment. Free jukebox too.

Great friendly pub LGBT + music to suit all. Lovely bar staff , live entertainment, juke box , pool table, two karaoke nights a week, disco Saturdays. Definitely a pub worth calling into. Good selection of drinks available jager bombs and shots are favourites amongst the punters. The atmosphere is electric at times plenty of laughter and extremely welcoming

Very fun and inclusive atmosphere, with decations that change depending on the time of the year. I've played card against humanity with acquaintences here I saw playing here before. The staff are all friendly and I met the landlady and she seems lovely. This is a gay bar that runs wednesday karaoke nights and a weekly trans night. A bit of an odd shape, being right angle shaped with a pool table and couches one tip, and the karaoke stage on the other tip, making watching the stage cozy. A larger space for tables at the bend of the right angle. There is a covered place for smokers Drinks wise there is beers, ciders, a few cocktails, deals on shots, I think a wine menu but it's not my choice of drink so I'm unsure, soft drinks

I love this place been living in Plymouth a few years now and been a fair few times. Friendly staff and really fluffy friendly dog there. Reasonable prices and good crowd, would recommend popping in and meeting a great group of people

This evening was my first time in The Swallow, acting as Chauffeur to Marcia Bassey Jones from South Wales. From the word go I was made to feel extremely welcome by both the staff and the regulars. The general feel to the place reminded me of the old Kings Cross in Cardiff, which was a venue that you could easily relax in, or party the night away. I loved the quirky decor, which had something different whichever way you looked. I thoroughly enjoyed there, and the owner, Christian, should be congratulated on providing a unique venue that sadly seems to be disappearing, only replaced by branded mediocrity. A true pleasure to visit, and I hope to be down again in the near future.

Loud! Popped in on Friday evening. We found the music way too loud. A place for the young and young at heart who like very loud pumping beatz. Very little seating too. I miss The Swallow of yore when the two landlords were running it.

One of the best gay bars I've been to. You can wonder in any time it's open and it will be a happy upbeat place. Staff are all really nice, theres plenty of good music, bizzar wonders on the projector and genrally a nice place to spend some time. Be sure to try out their odd selection of shots, just watch the Madras flavour. It'll kick your butt.

Fantastically friendly and fun safe place to be, Holly , Jo & Steve are all Gorgeous and lovely people and a total credit to not only the bar trade but the LGBT community ;) and the cliental are soo friendly and a lot of them are very cute too , I can't recommend the place enough .
