Excellent locals pub, one big bar in horseshoe, clean and tidy, cushions and comfy seating which can seat many drinkers at once, Mike the Landlord excellent. Jail Ale was well kept. Good mixture of locals and party groups although lively not raucous so recommended as different age groups mixing well. If I lived nearby would use as my local.

A very pleasurable experience all in all,on a Sunday the pub organises an excellent karaoke for the afternoon there's always a good atmosphere with lots of a good class of people to share the afternoon with. Staff are friendly to help Sunday lunches are also available during certain hours through the afternoon. Would definitely recommend to anyone who's enjoys the above description. Good times pub. Come ànd find out any Sunday afternoon. You'll won't be disappointed.

Music evening every 3rd Wednesday of the month. Fantastic; 15 people with Guitars, mandolins, banjos, accordion, mouth organs, penny whistles and good fun. Excellent pint with great company.

Great place to go for a free and fun day out with the little ones (weather permitting). Along the green, the bouncy castle or the legendary Gus Honeybun ride only cost 50p each so that won't break the bank either.
