Super venue for intimate live gigs , decent bar if you like a drink too,proper "sweatshop" reminds me of a lot of the great small Venues that were around back in the day, that hosted a lot of the great indie bands of the time

Band was amazing, sound was good, security were very good. The toilets were terrible, even before the gig started they were blocked no toilet roll, this was reported but not dealt with. There weren't enough bar staff, one of the bar staff was clearly new and very slow, an extra person should have been put on until he gets quicker. It is a shame as I wouldn't go get to the venue again unless I really desperate to see a band playing. The way the main venue was set up it made it difficult to see the stage, but this is probably due to the age of the venue (there isn't much that can be done about that).

Eh, it wasn't the worst bar I've ever been too. I've only ever stumbled in here after a session at Warehouse but then the other day I came in when I wasn't that merry. Oh boy, it's a weird experience. I didn't enjoy my time here because the drinks and entry got pricey. It's a decent place for if you want to continue your drinking but...make sure you're super gone when in here you'll like it way more.

I think tbf, the best selling point is the dance floor is massive, I forgotten how huge it is. Staff are nice, open til 6, music is what it is (the night recently was mint, all old stuff), prices beat Pop World 🤣. Only con I'd say is no light in the cubicals so some lads might get yellow on their trainers. Wouldn't say its exactly my scene though my scene down the road doesn't even play the music it used to... Had a better night in Pop World and Blitz than there 😂.

Don't know how to rate this cos we've just have an amazing night! You Me At Six always deliver at any gig but the venue itself is a bit "rustic" a real stick to the floor venue but with great staff, expensive-ish beer but despite its issues a great time!

Cosy venue, great for intimate shows... The only downside is not being able to see anything/the stage when on the main floor, the ceiling blocks off the view... Also soft drinks are rediculously overpriced

Came here when it was the Frog and Bucket and it’s changed massively. It’s now a purpose built music venue with a huge space and well stocked bar at the side. There’s also a separate bar room with a pool table and an outside area with sheltered seating booths. Reasonable prices for drinks too and quick service on the bar. Really cool venue.

It feels a bit... stabby in there. You get that sense when you hand in your ID details and get patted down on the way in. Beer is always below average. The people in there are always really nice though

I have only ever been here after Warehouse. With that in mind it serves the community well. Don't expect the toilets to be clean or to have toilet paper. The drinks are cheap and the staff are genuinely friendly. Keep your expectations low and you won't be disappointed.

The good thing about this place is also the bad thing. This is the last resort, the place you go at the end of your night if you don't want it to end. However unfortunately this is also the bad thing as it seems 90% of people who don't want the night to end are just the really desperate dudes who are trying to pull and haven't had any success.

Not a bad bar with a nice late opening, resident DJ and dancefloor. Needs a paint job and a returb though, and more staff on the bars. Smoking area cold be redone too. Would be the place to be in the early hours if it was a little smarter and spruced up.

Once you're over the slightly expensive entry fee and the fact that it is essentially just a huge, empty room, this is actually a really good night out. I've never known there to be bad music in here, rarely known there to be any trouble and drinks are reasonably priced - they have really good deals! Plus, they do slushes which go down great in summer. Good smoking area too, and of course the place is famously open till six so no complaints there.

Blitz holds a special place in everyone's heart. It's not the nicest club, the cleanest or most modern. But there is no better place to be ejected from at 6am.

Only one of two bar in Preston that are open till 6am, a with a bar area, outside smoking area and a separate dance floor - Security is reasuringly visible - which is what you want at that time of the morning. Blitz has an eclectic music mix - get there before 4.30 am, £5 in, and nicer much than the Loft.

Expect to get there because all your reck head mates are there. Upon getting in you pay for beer so much so you forget about food.... when you leave eventually.... food is so much on your mind you need it to Live, however you can't get it because blitz closes late, mcdonalds is your only option but you've to stay until closing. I ain't that committed so oven food is my option, if I can stay awake 💩😑😬🙈😥
