If alcohol is the cause and solution to all of life's problem, and you happen to be in Preston, Lancashire, head to Hopwoods. Preston City centre very much needed this place. They have live music on Fridays and Saturdays. For the hygiene conscious, like us, they have clean lavatories as well (which tend to be an issue in most beer houses) Quite a few screens playing football matches. Good sound system. Great vibes. Wide selection of beers and decent number of cocktails. Good non alcoholic options as well.

Great new bar , absolutely fantastic selection of craft ales and cider, for sports fans it's great, a TV on almost every wall. But a relaxed atmosphere in the afternoon and friendly through the evening Worth a visit every time you're in the centre

Visited on Friday following a recommendation and loved the atmosphere, staff were very friendly and great choice of drinks. Left to eat but returned following the meal. There was a male singer on and he was very good. The girls toilets were fun, pressed the red button in the picture frame and danced away!

Beer was a little pricey but probably because it was an IPA something like £5 odd a pint. Greeted by a couple of friendly doorman and the barman was sound which complimented nice decor for a Sunday bev! Will definitely go in for another

Nice bar, staff very friendly, bit pricey. Major thing no low seating available for disabled customer, was being used by a female staff member, manager possibly doing paperwork and watching the racing.
